Stopped by here a couple nights ago. First impression was whatever. Nothing special. Nothing to really grab your attention or sway you one way or another. Could definitely use some decor. The menu was the best part of this place. Colorful, detailed, appealing to the eye. The service was mediocre. The girl working the counter wasn't very nice, friendly or helpful. No expression or personality. I guess I expect someone working at an ice cream shop to be a little more cheerful. The raspado de vanilla con leche and lechera was average. Overall an average experience. Not somewhere I'm dying to go back to. read more

This used to be a favorite of mine but I've been disappointed the last few times I've visited and will not be returning. The prices are so expensive and are all posted wrong. Expect to pay a different price than what is listed on the menu. That is, if you can even read the prices, because they've been written over so many times, you cannot make them out. My recent $7.50 mangoneada raspado had only a handful of very small mango cubes, no chamoy or chile straw. Everything is extra! Will not recommend or return. read more

If you're going to run a business during COVID follow the precautions. The owner made our snacks with his mask down and touching his lips. Of course I threw away all our snacks. Love this place been going since highschool If you want something sweet vanilla with lechera(sweetened milk) is good if you want something more on the sweet/spicy side a mangonida(mango-ya-tha) probably didn't spell that right but it's really good. :) Don't let the outside look take u it's a good place. read more

I had a hankering for a cold treat to eat. I didn't feel like an old boring ice cream. The taste and texture of ice cream is so boring. I felt like shocking my taste buds with something cold and fruity. My wife ; who is from Mexicali, suggested we try RASPADOS. I asked, "what are those? " She stated that raspados were a concoction made with crushed ice, fruit syrup, sweet condensed milk and almond milk. A snow cone with attitude if you will. We drove to " KIOS" on hwy 111 near the Indio courthouse. I ordered a pineapple raspado (with chunks of pineapple...oh! my!...) and lechera. Wait !....i did not stop there...I also ordered the tosticeviche. A fiery mix of Tostitos, a generous portion of shrimp, cucumber, and clamato The raspado was a perfect compliment to extinguish the heat in my mouth. KIOS is my new "antojito" place. The best Mexican-style raspados, hands down! We have been to every raspado place in the valley and these are the closest we have found to real Mexican raspados. Highly recommend this place if you want a better Vainilla, Fresa or Circuela Raspado..everyone else sells good munchies like churros locos n stuff but their raspados not so good. read more
