The first time I ordered this same sandwich I asked for Jalapeño's instead of salsa and they gave the torta and side of jalapeño's at no extra charge . Today I was informed that if I wanted jalapeños instead of salsa " on the side" I needed to pay extra?... news to me because this did not happened the last I ordered a torta with Jalapeños instead of salsa. when I received the torta I asked for the jalapenos and they told me jalapeño's are extra if I they give them to me on the side therefore they put them in the torta. I wasn't asking for extra spiciness- I was asking to be given jalapeño's instead of the salsa. If the torta doesn't originally have salsa inside why would they assume I want the jalapenos in the torta. I hope this business stays consistent with service so I can continue requesting the same without surprises and I really hope they can accommodate customers with the choice of Jalapeños or salsa . I don't know who eats salsa inside thrrrr torta but I don't . :/ ... torta with Jalapeños is a must try ! Btw I agree with some of the other yelpers who have yelped about customer service not always being the best ... not all have a welcoming attitude--- nor an attitude that they love what they do... Note to business owner: please consider giving your employees a raise and remove the HARD STOP to choose a TIP before selecting payment because a tip is earned and not just handed over for doing your job. The torta was huge, but I am used to saving the second half for another day, but the fruit salad was very disappointing. The bread on the torta is what makes the sandwich really good, it is perfectly toasted and delivered fresh daily. I've gotten the salad before and in my opinion, it's not worth the price. It's a very basic salad with a protein choice and you're better off making it yourself. The customer service is good, the Hispanic ladies know enough English for you to order and explain what's in each item on the menu, but not to hold a conversation. Food is always amazing here and I always feel healthy when eating it. From what I've noticed, their ingredients are fresh and the fruit always has vibrant colors. Service in my opinion is good. I'm always greeted in Spanish, which I don't mind, but I feel the quality of my order is dependent on my accent or ability to speak in fluent Spanish. Today, my large fresh "juice" was 80% foam and gross. Likely because I could not understand the woman who took my order in Spanish and maybe she did not think my Spanish was deserving of real Mexican style juice, maybe she thought I wouldn't notice; either way, my drink is horrible - I highly do not recommended going here, unless your Español is on point!
