Overall, it was okay, nothing that really stood out or blew me away. My partner's wrap was pretty solid. They also gave us a dressing on the side that was interesting, though I couldn't quite figure out what was in it. This is the worst board & brew location I have ever been to. I get the same exact thing every time I come: Baja Wrap with no tomatoes, 1/2 onions, add banana peppers. What did I get this time? Baja wrap with no tomatoes, no banana peppers, extra onions, add red onions. I have no idea why there were different kinds of onions in my wrap, but I was not happy with what I got. On top of that, there was zero flavor to my chicken and I had hard pieces of spinach wrap to rip off. Unfortunately, they took forever and a half to make my order and I was too hungry to go back and have them remake it for me. I honestly don't know if they would have if I did go back because the employees here clearly don't want to be here. Will not return to this location again. read more

Decided to meet a couple of friends here after work for a bite and to catch up. I had to get sandbags in the area for my home so this was a nice stop this evening before the rain hit. We arrived around 6p-6:15p and the place was packed! This is a popular spot on Friday Nights. There were no tables inside available so we opted to share a bar height table of 8 with a couple and their daughter. They were very kind about letting us crash with them. Once we decided to order food, a few tables had opened up so we found ourselves a new spot. We chose a table that was a table away from the bar seating. There was a group of regulars that got rowdy in the last few minutes of the evening before closing. Luckily they calmed down after one of them arguing and tussling with each other ended up leaving. Our sandwich orders were prepared well. One person in our party was super upset that they do not serve ketchup here. They do not have french fries so they do not have ketchup. They have potato salad and kettle chips as sides options. My California Delight Turkey Sandwich was made very well. I ordered a side of potato salad and a Board and Brew IPA. All of our food came out within 10mins of ordering. There is patio dining but the tables were wet from the rain earlier in the day. I did get frustrated that they started cleaning up at 8:25p before closing at 9p, but that is what they do here. Overall, this was a decent visit. I gave 3 stars for the price of our food ($62 for sandwiches and beer), the whole situation with the crowded place, bar patrons squirting water at the bartender + being super drunk, and cleaning up around us dining while we ate. read more

Update on my review, came here again this month and this is definitely one of my #1 favorite sandwiches in Chula Vista. My favorite is still the Baja beef sandwich. The service was good. The ambiance was a little loud since there was a game going on at the time. I highly recommend trying any of their sandwiches. Plenty of parking in the lot. You can order to go or dine in. read more

I left a one star review years ago because of the neglected restrooms and thought I'd give it another try; boy, it's still a wreck. The MAJOR complaint is the outside seating. What was once a table in the corner is now a table in a junk storage/grease dumpster area. First, this is what you offer your customers in Otay Ranch? Otay Ranch! This is a very well to-do area and this is what we as paying customers have to look at? Seriously?! A smelly grease dumpster! Second, I'm sure you are violating some local ordinance because that grease dumpster should be next to a real trash dumpster, not sitting 3 feet from a table and in plain sight. I'm sure it's breaking some health code. You better take care of this or someone is going to call the health department and report you. Just amazing that you believe that that is a normal thing that customers enjoy looking at, because we don't. Come on Meryl, do better! read more

Food wise, the Beef Dip is my go to every single time. The Left Coast Pastrami is a very close second and the tuna is my third favorite. All solid with no misses. My wife loves the California Delight and she is never disappointed. You come for the sandwiches, but the sauce is what always brings us back. It is truly like no other. Once you have had it, you get it. Reliable, flavorful, and worth every visit. Nights can look pretty packed when there's a game on but I've never been in at night, I've only driven past. I did enjoy the combination of bacon and turkey although I think it might've been a bit too salty as they are generous with their turkey portions. I have been here before and the service is always well, I have gotten their chicken Caesar salad wrap and it is good but quite inconsistent as sometimes they will toss the dressing inside sometimes, with no dressing. The size of the wraps are also constantly changing I do find that to be a downside.
