It's the kind of generous, old-school customer service that's hard to find these days. I also love their vampiros. Don't expect added whey protein or sugary extras like you'll find at the big chains. I've gone here since I was a kid and we've always loved it but recently the service has been so horrible. I walked in today and stood in "line", while the lady was servicing someone at the drink station. A woman and her child came in about 8 minutes after me and lined up at the drink station behind the ONE man the worker was servicing. She walked over to the register and checked the man out, then asked the woman what she wanted completely ignoring me. At this point, the woman had even walked out and came back in. The lady pointed to me and said she was here first, but the worker brushed me off and said she'd get to her first. Then 2 other people came in and she serviced one of them first too! I was in there longer than everyone else in that place and I was there before most of them!!!! When she FINALLY got to me she was so rude and rolled her eyes when I talked. I know they don't speak english and I'm not a native speaker but I do speak ENOUGH spanish to ask her for my order. Came in craving some strawberries with cream it was my first time here. I walked in and the two ladies were at the front. One of the ladies said what can I get you, didn't even greet or anything. I began to tell her I wanted to order some strawberries and she said what size so I asked her what sizes do you have because it was my first time here and while giving me her back she pointed to the wall and said the sizes are right there. I've visited this fruitería multiple times because the fruit itself is fresh and delicious, but unfortunately the customer service has consistently been disappointing. Each time I walk in, there's little to no acknowledgment, even when I approach the counter and greet the staff. On my most recent visit, I was the only customer there. After greeting the employee, I was met with an unfriendly stare. When I asked to see the different fruit container sizes, I was given a vague response instead of a simple visual, and my questions were answered with a dismissive attitude. The employee kept her back turned and seemed annoyed the entire time, which made the experience uncomfortable and frustrating. Good customer service makes a big difference in any business, and sadly, that's been lacking here every time I've come in. Because of this, I won't be returning. I came here because I was craving a licuado but was nervous because I saw the reviews were not great. This is now my favorite place to get licuados when I'm in the area! I gone multiple times and each time the ladies there are pretty nice to me! We were not greeted when we walked in despite making eye contact so I just announced my order. We came across this heavenly place by chance one day as we were running errands and while we lived in the area. I was craving some fruit and came to find the sell whole fruit, smoothies, fruit salads, bionicos. I fell in love with their bionicos and before posting a review i wanted to confirm their service was consisted. I was never disappointed. Bionicos are a mix of fruit comprised of bananas, apples, strawberries, papaya, honey dew melon and cantaloupe. The fruit is mixed and immersed in this heavenly sweet cream topped with shredded coconut, granola and raisins. Oh my, writing this post is making me salivate. We have purchased this over 20 times, concocted by different ladies but always insanely tasty and consistent. I also tried their smoothies and freshly squeezed juices. We were super ecstatic knowing it was located so close to our old place...sadly we have now relocated and writing thos post makes me super sad. However, even if it is far will absolutely consider visiting if in the area. Worst customer service ever!!!!! We come here to usually get fresh fruit platter or a raspado. Not many shops like this in Alhambra. HOWEVER we always have to mentally prepare ourselves how rude the workers are. The minute you walk in they are annoyed they have to serve you instead of them being thankful for supporting there business. Today was the last straw for us. We will never be back. The worker ignored my husband and was extremely rude to him. He asked for the owners number as we have met him and he is a nice guy which is why try to support the business. Haven't had the bionicos for a while and was excited to finally get one again. The customer service was jaw dropping awful. I went in with my girlfriend and she asked if there was papaya in the bionicos. The employee said "why don't you read the list of fruits it has." I love this place for the fresh pressed juices. I haven't been here in many years! But their prices are super reasonable. They recently raised their prices for the large juice. I went maybe 2x in one week, and the second time we went, the price was slightly higher. It is still a good price though for the amount of juice that you get. I also love that they give you the "extra" juice that didn't quite make it into the cup. You can order their pre-set juices (there are 10) or you can customize your own juice. I personally like the #6 vampira. So delicious! I love getting my juices here and I prefer it over the other big juice chains. This place is cost effective and it supports local small businesses! It was a shabby little place right next to a smoke shop and some other places across the street from some stores- in case you have trouble spotting it.
