The texture was OK, but I think either there wasn't enough Oreo, or it was blended too much. The 2nd drink was a slush lychee. It was way too sweet, that I couldn't drink it. When I got home, my daughter tried it, and she agreed with me that it was way too sweet. This was my first visit to Quickly, even though I have passed by here so many times! I went in the evening (maybe 30 minutes before closing), and no one else was in there. This is a tiny shop, and I was actually hoping to get a minced pork rice bowl. But I found out that they mostly serve drinks, with a few snack menu items. They don't serve rice bowls, so I ordered the Popcorn Chicken and Rice ($7.99). I took it to go (there is no indoor dining). It was okay, and I was so hungry, I ate the whole thing. Because I went so close to closing, it was not freshly cooked, but I did enjoy it. I also ordered a 16 oz. Milk Tea with Boba. I completely forgot to request 50 percent sweetness. It was way too sweet for me. Even though it was my fault for not adjusting the sweetness, I did knock off points for this. But I'm thinking that even if it was not as sweet, it would not rate as high as other milk teas that I have enjoyed. Reminds me of the middle days where we went to quickly's and get some boba tea and popcorn chicken. It was my first time visiting this location and service was extremely slow. We were the 2nd group of people waiting for our drinks and I was about to order the popcorn chicken but they confirmed that they don't use basil leaves so I opted not to get it. Went here today to cool off just cause the weather outside is frightful lol. I ordered the Taro Slush w/ Boba and it was delicious. I used to come here almost all the time with my friends when I was doing my studies here in East Los Angels College. But now, I rarely come here. I just missed the taste of the taro slush here because it's different from any other boba tea places. Came here after classes during a hot day, and it's safe to say that I'll be returning to this spot every once in a while! It is located in between a really lowkey spot behind the campus. The worker at the front was very helpful with what variations of drink they have. I ended up going for a blended taro smoothie with boba, very delicious. The boba's texture was fresh and the drink was REALLY refreshing to have outside. The taro tasted very nutty and sweet like milk. Definitely ordering it again. read more

There were more larger pieces (about the size of a McDonalds nugget) than smaller pieces. Milk tea- as nostalgic as it gets! Something about Quickly's milk tea that you can't get anywhere else. I forgot to adjust sweetness and it was just fine. I usually prefer half sweet as most boba shops drinks are extremely sweet nowadays. This Quickly is a hidden gem! I haven't been to a Quickly that's worth noting in the last 10+ years. But I stumbled on this one because I was craving popcorn chicken, and wow I was surprisingly blown away. Their popcorn chicken is better than most other more expensive places in San Gabriel valley. It's big, juicy, crispy, and always fried on the spot. Their drinks are pretty good for the price. 2 for $6 for 16oz cups for most drinks on their menu. I've been coming to this Quickly since I was a kid and it's still the same owner. Located next to ELAC, across the McDonald's it's very convenient for college students. I only get the Green Tea with Egg Pudding and it tastes great! This place is undergoing construction inside the establishment so there are no inside tables. Besides, this Quickly is pretty small so there is not much wiggle room. Prices are about $5 - $7 in lieu of your cup sizes. Overall: Quick place to get your boba fix. I've been coming to this Quickly's since the Summer and I really enjoy their drinks. I got my parents hooked on their mango passionfruit or strawberry slush as well lol. Anyways, I've tried their slush drinks and they're pretty good, especially with Mango popping boba. Their fruit drinks are good too but nothing mind blowing. I usually go for mango or passionfruit when I want a cold drink instead of slush. I haven't tried their milk tea besides taro milk tea with pudding, but even that was pretty good. They use artificial taro which I personally prefer over real taro. Finally I've also tried their BBQ popcorn chicken and that's also pretty good too. Overall me and my family enjoy this place and often go whenever possible. One word of advice however is that there seems to be only one lady working at all times, so if she doesn't get to you right away it's most likely because she's busy with another order. I came here several times to see whether or not their food and drinks were consistent. I can finally say that this place has the best popcorn chicken and calamari that I have ever tasted. It does take a while for them to fulfill my order but it was worth the wait. When you come to a chain you expect a certain standard. When I go to Quickly's I expect the same type of milk tea give or take. There's a recipe and powders that they all use. When I came here to order my usual boba milk tea it was nothing like I was used to. This location made their own type of milk tea which would have been fine with me if it was good. Instead it was watered down and too sweet. Not enough tea leaves were used and it tasted slightly sour. This is unacceptable for a Quickly's because their milk tea is what I've come to love. I stopped here to get this specific drink instead of the other boba shops in the area because I knew it was going to have the taste I was looking for. Stay away from this boba place! This place is a rip off with bad customer service. My husband and I were taking a walk here, and saw they had a 2 for $5 special. The sign said boba included. Someone helped us take our order. We thought we could pay with credit card, but she said that there was a 50 cent charge. It was not visible to me, and she held up a sign barely visible to me. We paid with cash. When we got our order we realized there was NO BOBA in it, as it had said on the menu. They said that to have boba in it we had to tell them. Included to me means that it comes with boba by default. They added the boba back in, but also couldn't seal our cups again. such a waste of money and time to come here. Taste wise, there's nothing special about this place, and the customer service is terrible. Please don't come here. i will never come here again myself. I stopped in to get a Thai iced tea. (Of course) Caffeine and sugar is really all I need to keep me going. It was yummy, but not the best Thai tea I've had. It was a good price though, a large for 3.56... Not bad compared to other Thai teas in town. They were very friendly, fast and had a ton of drink options. I will have to try some of their other drinks. I'm pretty sure they are known for their Boba. I saw 3 different people walking out with Boba drinks, that's what made me decide to try it out. Although boba isn't my thing, their beverages seemed very alluring. It's a small place, maybe enough to seat 10 people or so. Anymore and it may be a bit uncomfortable.
