While it is a small store, they pack a lot inside! It was very interesting to shop and find ingredients that I only read about in recipes! Be aware that all items come from foreign countries and may not have American writing or oversight control. They seem to organize by Country, so be prepared to find the same ingredient in different locations from different countries and sources. The owner was extremely nice and helpful, helped me a lot as I was unfamiliar with the store footprint. If you are going for the restaurant, be aware it no longer exists, having closed during covid and never reopened. A disappointment for me as I was looking to try it out. I do plan to visit again. It was a very nice experience for me and I will want to return to enjoy more products.

The store front looks new, in a nice area and they have a parking behind the store which is helpful if there is no street parking open. I called the store to see if they carried woks and the person was nice to tell me they did and the price range. When I went up to check out, the lady at the front desk was so nice when I asked her opinion on the wok. It's nice to get another opinion when you can't read what's on the label. But, the company has been in business since 1628 so I'm sure they have the experience to make a good pan. Inside is a bright large store with a good number of aisles of products, fresh produce, frozen foods, cooking items and live seafood. You could, seriously, spend an hour or more looking at all the items. The shelves are clean and the items look good!! The aisles are wide and brightly lit. They had products for Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Korean and Philippine cooking, as far as I saw. They have shopping carts and cute small ones for kids. I wasn't here for much so took a hand basket. Big mistake. Picking up a sauce here and 7lbs of rice there and my basket was getting heavy. So, went to check out. I felt the prices were good. And, they were kind enough to pack it all in a cardboard box which made it easy to carry out. The items I've tried have been good quality and tasty. I definitely recommend and, even though I just went today, I have a running list of things I forgot and want to get next time.

The owner puts out samples of the different Russian and Ukrainian foods that she stocks and she usually has a pot of borsch going.She will offer you some tea to drink while you shop and sample foods. If there is something you wish to taste all you have to do is ask. This is helpful if you don't read Russian-none of the foods are labeled in English of course.
