I reached out to Fry Law Corp in May 2022 about evicting tenants from a property. Aug 2023, over a year later, Fry failed horribly to deliver any legal victories for me. Fry was quick to charge my bank account, but slow to communicate. I gave him $9,000. Not only that, there was the thousands of dollars of lost income from the property that sat empty for a year as I waited for some kind of legal resolution. All told, a conservative estimate by me, I would say I spent $30,000 waiting for Fry to get some resolution for me. Fry had two options to get some results from me: eviction or abandonment. At one point, in Dec 2022, Fry even said it would be two weeks! If you would like details of my horrible experience with Fry, continue reading below. On Sep 1, 2022 Fry served legal documents to the tenants. On Sep 21, 2022, after giving Fry three weeks to update me, I got tired of no communication and reached out to them. Fry said he would update me when there was a development. On Oct 23, 2022, almost two months after getting no communication from Fry, I again reached out to them. He said he'd contact the courts for an update. I wondered why he hadn't thought of doing that without being prompted by me after almost 2 months of no progress. Fry took offense to me being unhappy with a lack of communication from him. From this point forward, I let him reach out to me on matters. On Dec 2, 2022, another month and a half, I got another update. At this point, the tenants abandoned the property, but I wanted an official legal backing to protect me. He said we could file abandonment paperwork. Fry said it would only take about two weeks! At this point, Fry had two options to get some kind of legal resolution for me: eviction or abandonment. Dec 19, 2022 Fry served legal docs regarding the abandonment. Jan 11, 2023 Fry filed stuff with the court. Feb 23, 2023 updated me to tell me to keep waiting. Apr 19, 2023 Fry contacted me asking for more info about the tenants for some more filings. Aug 1, 2023, nearly four months later he tells me the courts denied the eviction. read more

Olivia, Much thanx, this was such a long time ago and I've actually ran into the same situation 2019 to 2021 with Mercy Housing Group/ Downtown Sacramento at 7 & H St apartments. And was evicted during the pandemic when I attempted to start attending which is a protected act I had the backing of Sacramento Tenants Union which is a protected act. It was out of every unscrupulous attempt. Mercy Housing Group are federally funded and got away with even worse than AMC Amber Grove Apartments. I should have reached out and I hope to be able to file a civil lawsuit against Mercy Housing I'm still just before the 2-year statue of limitations. This guy does everything with no effort. If you want someone who will quickly settle your case, this is your guy. He is not a fighter and will convince you to quickly settle a case over trying to fight your case. He is a horrible listener and will not listen to what the client is telling him but rather what is convenient for him. The follow up is not too great and he only likes communicating over email. No free 30 minute consultation with this guy! ------------- In response to Mr. Fry's response, I'd like to continue with the auto repair analogy. If I drove into a repair shop with an old car and a slipping transmission, most repair men listen to it, perhaps even would drive the car around the block, and confirm that the transmission sounded bad. They would then tell me that a new transmission would be around $3500, but that my car is probably worth less than that, so "It's my call." No mechanic would require me to authorize up to $3500 on my Visa before he'd look at it. read more

He threatens people to remove truthful reviews so the truth is not exposed. Did not receive a free consultation like I was told I was going to. My case wasn't even talked about not once. I did not ask for or expect any free services other than the free consult that I was told I was gonna be given by the assistant. I hired Christopher Fry after receiving one of his slick mailers. We agreed on a monthly retainer fee....after collecting about $11,000 of my $$ he sent me an email stating he would only continue with my case if I paid him double what our contracted agreement was. This is a bad, unethical attorney. So basically he quit the case after taking my $$, refused to give me the $$ back and I had to hire another attorney at a higher fee to take on the mess he left us.
