Although we are generally satisfied with most things in this store, we were very disappointed today! Partly our fault that we did a pickup order in advance, but within our order we had ordered the T-bones on sale advertised as Choice grade. I've been in the meat industry for over 40 years and this product was not even close to Choice! Not even the lower end of Choice. They need to take a look at their supplier, they got ripped off. The butchers can't help what is sent to them and zi hope they are knowledgeable and they complain. There is not one speck of marbling in this steak! Even on sale, two steaks cost us $36.93. When I arrived it was really busy and there were no carts available. So went to the parking lot and got a cart, which I have done in the past. As I was entering the store an alarm went off and one of the front wheels locked up. I was briefly stuck in the entrance but I was able to drag the cart back outside. I left and went to Walmart instead. I usually go there twice a week but I'm not going to deal with ridiculous BS. I'll probably still go there on occasion but will start going to Walmart more. read more

On the expensive side. This is actually a Kroger's store. Fry's does not have ready-to-eat/heat meals which was disappointing. Meats: Ground beef is poorly labeled. For example, ground chuck (beef grade) doesn't exist. There also is no labels for ground sirloin, ground round, etc. They just label the grade, ie 80/20 etc. So, 80/20 is actually the lean/fat content of ground chuck but is it 100% chuck roast that is ground? Who knows?! In general, the store in Sahuarita is well stocked with good variety. The produce section is good. Prices are a bit high but not as high as Safeway. read more

By far my favorite Frys! It's pretty brand new to South Tucson. Very, very clean! Easy to find your way around store. I love how friendly the staff is! They always ask if you need help finding something and I really appreciate that. Checkout is pretty fast too since they have the self checkouts! I love using the Frys app and downloading digital coupons to save money on my grocery runs! They also have special discount days for seniors (my parents always use their senior discounts)! This is a pretty fine store, all considered. It's clear that the employee shortage is affecting their ability to provide the top notch customer service that most of us expect, and all of us deserve. Often checkout lines are very long. The parking lot, though ample, is usually chaotic. The overall selection is admirable, but keeping in line with shortages, often product is unavailable. Very recently, my spouse and I had several negative encounters with a person named Brooke, in the pharmacy. This person is somewhat unsocialized, doesn't belong in any position, especially that of pharmacy, in dealing with customers. If you do have a bad encounter with Brooke, be sure to inform the pharmacist on duty, as well as the store manager. read more

Well, I guess this is now my neighborhood supermarket. Not bad! We don't have these in Kommiefornia and I didn't know what I was missing. They have everything from an electronic section, porch and deck furniture, clothes, and of course food. Selection is vast. I love how many self-checkouts they have and they actually work worth a darn. The store is clean and the prices are pretty good. All in all, I scored living near here. I moved from out of state and didn't know what Fry's was. I thought it was an electronics store, like in San Diego. It's a fantastic grocery store, plus so much more. A family member came for the weekend and ended up buying $600.00 of clothing and shoes. This store has a little of everything here, but a far cry from Wal Mart. This store has a great selection of gluten free food and they have made pick up free during COVID 19. Just order your stuff on line and then go to the store at your selected time and pick it up. I was in line around 20 minutes till closing the teenage girls name was Ashley but her tag said Ash, anyWho I go to put my items on the conveyor she's having a full-blown conversation with the bagger ,didn't greet me didn't ask for my number and started cussing and talking bad about how Fry's treats their employees that she hates this F 'N job , continues & to curse in front of me, this was mind blowing for two reasons, one reason is because she's letting the whole world know that she hates her job and could care less about what other people think about her ( Obviously) Second & doesn't care The image of Fry's . If you don't like your job then get another one. This is not your typical Fry's. This is a gourmet Fry's. Why do the suburbanites get all the fun?! I think the first time I ever visited this grocery store was something like three years ago. I think I was passing through to go hiking, and stopped in for snacks. I was instantly impressed by the size and selection. Seriously, if you're traveling down Interstate 19 for any reason whatsoever I would highly recommend you stop in. Even if it's to browse around. For foodies, this is going to feel like visiting a world famous market. It's almost like Indy 500 for drivers. Or the Louvre for historians. Or Six Flags Magic Mountain for young thrill seekers. Every single section is nicely organized. And they have a ton of specialty items. They even have a section for the outdoors and home improvement. Are you serious?! In a grocery store? Why yes. This is the elite of the Fry's family. It's almost like Safeway and AJ's coupled up and made a baby. They even have sushi chefs that work on site. Sushi chefs, people! OK, the sushi isn't 100 percent AbFab, but is the best sushi I've ever picked up from a grocery store. For sure. read more

Fry's is a 10 minute drive longer than Safeway in Green Valley, but is well worth the drive. I offer a subjective guess that I save easily 10-15% at Fry's. In addition, for years Fry's has saved seniors an additional 10% on the first Wednesday of each month. Safeway only recently played ("Johnny Come Lately") and did the same. I CAN afford the difference and can pay it, but why? Seniors should be able to save wherever they can, and Safeway doesn't look out for our best interests. read more

This location also has a huge clothing section, patio and pool, home goods and an actual shoe section! Name brand shoes- and a decent selection. My check out experience was awful to say the least Cashier Sandy was extremely rude and what she did I thought completely uncalled for. My Husband and I were buying soda that was on sale 10 for 10 kroger brand 2 liter bottles and the digital coupon for 5 name brand 2 liters She went out of her way to flag down the manager and pointed to all the soda on the conveyer belt, his comment was "ya that is a lot of soda" and walked away. I asked her what the problem was, is there a limit and she said nothing!! continued scanning and then made the comment " looks like you're not going to go thirsty!" and rolled her eyes while shaking her head. Im originally from calizuela, erm, commiefornia, erm the left coast...we have Raley's out there, and using the same idea, Frys has created a great little mecca under the ownership of Kroger's. Too much good stuff, love the produce, deli, sushi stand, seafood counter... Great prices throughout the store. Not sure i would buy clothes at a grocery store, but they have a fashion line. Lol... One of my favorite things about Frys is the over abundance of friendly staff, in the aisles, in the departments, at checkout...the people working here actually seem to like working here, everyone smiles, and that's a plus!! BEWARE: If you have Medicare Advantage you cannot get a Pfizer booster shot here. My wife and I made appointment online. When we showed up they asked for photo ID, insurance card and previous vaccine card. We presented all three. They came back and asked for our red, white and blue medicare card. We explained that we were not issued a red, white and blue Medicare as Medicare advantage insurance card takes the place of the regular Medicare card. We were directed years ago to discard the other card. They continued to insist that we produce the other card and would not accept the Medicare Advantage card. We have used the Medicare Advantage card at Walgreens, CVS, Banner for major surgeries etc and never were asked for an additional card. read more

Of all the Fry's stores, this one's the best. (Maybe I'm a bit biased on this one, because it's the closest grocery store to my house...lol ) The place is always clean and organized, and the people are always friendly & courteous and willing to help. I think what makes this Fry's stand out is that most of the workers also live in the area, so they take pride in their work and the store itself. This Fry's has a Starbuck's inside, a Sushi Chef, a full Deli, a Garden Center, and a Pharmacy. One stop shopping for everything (they've got a nice little electronics & book section, and home furnishing section too). It's Fry's, so you'll always find great deals on your groceries and more. I like it when they have their coupon deal: use a coupon, doesn't matter how much off it is, they'll take off a $1 on the item! I also love their fuel rewards program, where you get 10 cents off a gallon of gas when you spend at least $100. Rewards can add up! You can use these rewards not only at the Fry's Fuel locations, but at Shell & Circle K gas stations too! Pretty cool, so make sure to sign up if you haven't already! I like Fry's Food. The employees are generally helpful and pleasant. They seem to be on the cutting edge of technology, now, competing nicely with other grocery stores. I have severe back problems & one of the hardest things for me was walking through the store shopping for groceries. I hated standing in front of the deli waiting for my lunchmeats and cheeses to be packaged up. Some days it would take upwards of an hour of standing on their cement floors waiting at the deli. However, now they have Clicklist! I love Clicklist! I can sit, stand, walk, or even lay down in the comfort of my own home and shop for what I need using their website or their app. Once my order is sent, I just have to show up at the designated time to pick up my groceries. The people who work in Clicklist are friendly and thoughtful. They always seem to go the extra mile by thinking through ideas of how to replace an item that is out of stock. When I'm sitting there in my truck, they show me what they had to substitute, what they had no idea what to substitute with, or what other things they were able to help me with. I love it! Clicklist saves me from having to use their checkout lines. That there is another time suck that kills my back! read more

Fry's pharmacy has always been basically disappointing from the first time I came here a year ago. I moved from out of town and unfortunately, the next closest pharmacy is too far out of the way. I am giving Fry's two stars instead of one because the customer service is ok, sub par but not the absolute worst. The wait time no matter time of day, day of week or how many people are behind the counter is the worst I have ever experience of any Pharmacy. They also will tell you a prescription will be ready at a specific time and it doesn't happen 75% of the time. However, if you have nothing planned and the patience to stand in line for an unreasonable amount of time and don't mind a staff that is not overly friendly this is your Pharmacy!! This pharmacy has alot to improve. They never have anything in stock. I am on a pain med for chronic pain. My Dr called in a prescription Monday, 3 hours later we dropped by to pick it up. Guess what...out of stock. I had only 1 pill left. They told me they had a shipment coming in Wed. Well here it is Friday..still no shipment. I have been in terrible pain since Tuesday. Can't sleep. This is unacceptable . They suggested I call my Dr to cancel that order, so we could go elsewhere. Good luck on that, my clinic take 48 hours to answer calls. Guess I'll be looking for a new clinic and pharmacy. To bad, I have been a Fry's customer for 25 years. read more

Tried to return a Vaccumm hose. Ran into a problem. Explained the problem in a monotone and low volume tone. Cheyenne told me don't yell at her when I wasn't yelling. She had terrible service. She was angry and frustrated and had a terrible attitude. Told me to come back to return the item tomorrow to pass the issue onto the original person because she didn't want to solve it herself. I got another manager named Celina. Celina was professional and kind, she resolved the problem within a minute. While Cheyenne continued to have a bad attitude. Thank you Celina! read more

I can't believe that this place hasn't been reviewed yet. I've only been here once (I went to Arizona for the second time in my life some time ago), but it left quite an impression. The store is huge and unique. It's like a Safeway, Barnes & Noble (I would say Borders, but there are fewer locations now), and IKEA in one. You can buy groceries, peruse through the nice selection of books (I don't just love to write, but read- the two go hand in hand, like Paris Hilton and dumb blonde jokes), or look at the furniture. Given the fact that the shopping options are fairly limited in Sahuarita, this place is stocked with your "not so normal grocery store" items. Within this huge Fry's Marketplace it seems like you have a nursery, a furniture store, a farmers market, groceries, a great beer selection, and MORE. Fry's Pharmacy is awful. I recently had Bronchitis and was given 4 prescriptions, 2 of which they did not have and promised I would get them the next day. Went the next day still no prescriptions. the 3rd day I went back they had only 1 of the 2 missing prescriptions. Meanwhile I called in a refill of a regular pill I take. 4th day back they finally had the 4th prescription but no regular meds were filled yet. Why does it take 2 days to fill a prescription? Even as recently as a two years ago our local Fry's guaranteed fried chicken would be available. But since then I have had a number of issues with getting some chicken. Sometimes they had just started a batch, so I understandingly waited. Other times, a new batch wasn't scheduled yet. But recently it has gotten worse, and tonight was the kicker! For some reason, between 3-5PM, when people are coming in to pick up dinner there is only one person manning the deli section. Two weeks ago Brett explained that the second person had "called out". I went to Customer Service, and they verified, yes a second person had been scheduled for 4PM but apparently didn't show. I had to wait 20 mins to get served, because there were some many orders for deli meats. But tonight there were no deli meat customers, he was cleaning the equipment and the walls. He told two of us, that the hot section was CLOSED, and couldn't give us an opening time. Yet there was an obviously fresh batch of chicken sitting there. I approached the Boar's Head rep, and he brought up someone to assist us. read more

I am so glad this store is near my house! They always have a well stocked produce section and it is fresh! I love the discounts and fuel points you get with the VIP card. And the in-store Wells Fargo Bank and RedBox make things even more convenient. The staff is friendly and knows where everything is. The tea isle has all my favorites, I drink tea every morning instead of coffee, and like to mix it up. I always take a look at the fresh flowers to see if any are on sale. Even though it was a surprise when I walked in the first time. Fry's is an electronic store in Texas. When I moved here, I went in to buy a replacement car charger for my phone... Fry's food is owned by Kroger, so I knew where most of the items I wanted were, which after moving 1000 miles away from home, it was nice to know something. read more

I waited 15 minutes before someone finally answered my call...over 35 minutes from the first call I made tonight. A very nice woman answered and passed me over to a manager after apologizing for her coworker, who she knew his name right away, Josh (I didn't catch his name). He came on the phone a minute later and although he said his name and found a number for me, he did not offer an apology for my having to hold for as long as I held. I cannot believe that this manager had no heads up from the woman who finally gave me to him about how long I had held and my experience earlier...no "I'm sorry for the wait", no "Thank you for your business", no, "I hope Instacart can help resolve your issue"...just poor customer service all the way around. I've been a customer service supervisor, and manager and feel sorely disappointed with the customer service I did not receive tonight. :( Seriously considering shopping at the nearest Tucson Fry's just because I have always chosen to shop here at Frys over Walmart, even with the higher prices, because I will take excellent customer service over really anything else. :( ------------ I have always loved Frys, but tonight if there was an option for ZERO stars, that would be my actual choice, but it forces me to give them at least 1 star. :( I logged onto Frys Food website and asked for delivery. It was easier for me to have the groceries delivered, with our busy schedule today. I got the order from a third party delivery company and was missing items. I was not only missing items the receipt did not reflect the correct items of quantities. I called FRys and their recording says for immediate assistance hit zero. I did. I waited a good 3 minutes to get a young woman on the phone who put me on hold first after I said I was calling regarding a delivery error. She came back and asked to put me on hold again, she was going to ask her manager, came back on and said I had to call Instacart, the company who delivered our order. I asked for their number and she said she would ask, put me on hold again, came back and said she was still looking for the manager, and put me on hold again. She came back and I told her I had been waiting for 15 minutes and she said she knew, but it would be just a little longer. She came back and said the manager said the number should be on my receipt or order (it is NOT!), and I told her this time I was waiting for over 18 minutes and she said she knows, but it's going to be longer and she would put me on hold again. I asked for the manager's name and she said "there are so many" and I asked who the manager on duty was right now that I could speak to and she said "there are so many, let me look up the name". I thought "DIDN'T YOU JUST SPEAK TO ONE?!" Ridiculous! She puts me on hold again, 21 minutes since I first called and all of a sudden after 2 more minutes of holding, I am hung up on. :( I call right back and hit zero again for immediate assistance and the phone has been ringing almost 13 minutes!!!! NO ANSWER!! I am sure someone is looking at the caller ID and not answering it purposely or the phone ringer was just turned off. I am going to wait another 7 minutes and then I'm headed over there to find one of the MANY managers to discuss the incompetence of whoever handles the delivery, the person who answered the phone who couldn't answer my questions and who couldn't even give me the darn name of the manager on duty!!! Again, we have always loved Frys, but tonight was worthy of a boycott from our family. I realize nobody cares, but this is terrible for business! read more
