Can't believe what I saw while waiting for my food. I came in and it looks like this Mexican lady and this older woman taking the tenders out. What looked like a cheeseburger just sitting there for several minutes not being touched or anything. well, I was waiting for chicken tenders and fries. I also ordered a cheeseburger and fries. The older lady says we need a cheeseburger and the Mexican lady says oh, it's been sitting right there and I even said that better not be my cheeseburger because that looks disgusting and flies are all over it and it was just sitting there uncovered. And they both just look at me. next thing you know, they start packing my tenders and fries, and because they seemed angry. They gave me no fries in both of my orders. She then had to restart a new cheeseburger for me and I had to wait. I would never recommend this place and I always go here all the time. Today was something else, and I can't believe that I sat through this experience. And the Mexican lady kept rushing me to pay for my food and I was like no, I'm watching you make my food. And she's like no go pay for your food and I kept saying no. I'll pay when I know my cheeseburger is done. she makes the bread as soon as she puts the patties on and then makes my bread. Just sit there on the counter so when I got my burger, my burger buns were completely cold. After this experience, I will never go there again. I'd rather go to Argenziano's and pay the extra money than to sit there and witness what I just witnessed. Never again!!! read more

So my sister went back into the store to get a receipt and refund, he said he didn't have any paper, he just gave her 15.00 back from the register. This is not the first time this has happened. A wonderful family owned business. The grill is fantastic, especially the Big Daddy Breakfast Burrito. No complaints about the staff. It's a great corner market with outside seating that customers enjoy. Prices are high, but that's to be expected. read more

I wish someone would claim this page, roadrunner is a great little shop. Gas, beer, wine, hot food, lotto, an atm, etc. The staff is nice and quite frankly, so are the customers. I've met so many great people just standing in line! The tire air machine lasts forever and the parking lot is big enough for our truck. Some prices are a bit higher, like gas, but overall they really do provide a lot of options for such a small building. If you're in the area and craving some good sandwiches - this is the place to go. Ordered a turkey club on a wheat bread and it was absolutely delicious! Turkey was so juicy and full of flavor yam! I appreciate the Roadrunner Market being out here in Corona de Tucson. This business was sold to new owners a few years ago. Gas prices are no longer 50 cents a gallon more than in town. The current owners are incredibly friendly members of our community and are very welcoming each time we're in their store. The Roadrunner Grill is also a nice option if you don't want to cook. They have pizzas, sandwiches, wings, burgers and other delicious offerings and the prices are very fair. The market itself has a very wide variety of products and also some limited vegetables. It's very convenient to be able to run in there if you're missing an item for a recipe and don't want to spend an hour driving into town and back. read more

So here's the skippy on this market place, I have only lived out yonder since August and if you live over here you know this is the go-to because this area is ever developing. Gas station/market/grill it has everything you need that you forgot to pick up at the big box stores. They have a pretty good beer and wine selection for a tiny market. You will pay a premium for the location but let's be honest, we're not gonna drive 10 miles for a couple bucks. I love the tiny grill. Make sure you try to pastrami sandwich and pizza. My staples. Good grub, not gonna blow your socks off but good for the cravings. The staff is as nice as any gas station combo, I've never had a bad attitude. So if you are out in the area, know they have everything from produce to some deli selections. Get some craft brews for dinner too. I am so thankful that this local deli/gas station is nearby. We moved to Arizona in 2015 and the Roadrunner market has been really convenient for us as it is just down the road. I order online and pick up the food in the store. The deli staff are always so nice and even go out of their way to talk to my kids and be silly. Very friendly, happy staff. We've NEVER had a bad experience here and will continue to go there. Keep up the good work guys! read more

I love their food! They have great prices and it's one of the only places that delivers here in Corona De Tucson. You wouldn't think that you would get amazing pizza from a gas station or at least I didn't, but my whole family loves it. As a fellow small business owner in this area, I really appreciate all that the owners have made available to everyone in corona and vail. Gas is an obvious need, but its everything else that makes this so much more. They have an amazing kitchen full of better than fresh homemade sandwhiches and burgers. Sadly, I'm reducing my local Bodega /Deli/gas station / Burger joint/ delivery service /convenience store down to two stars rather than four. One might ask why? Well, I'm going to explain. I spend a lot of money at the store because it is one of the only convenience and delivery service within the immediate area. I sometimes have food delivered three or four times a week and it is not cheap and that has nothing to do with my reduction and stars. It's all about accuracy of order and customer service. There are two guys that work behind the cash register that are completely rude all the time. I will give you an example, I needed to scan Powerball tickets from the previous week, I tried to use the self-scanner and it was taking forever because the scanner sucks. I ask one of the gentlemen to scan them on their main system because it would move much quicker. He immediately responded by saying "you can use the self scanner" & I told him that it wasn't scanning very well. *His reply " you will have to wait until I help the rest of the customers in line. I guess he considered me chopped liver, I am a customer and I stood in the line, apparently he believes that the request I was making of him was so absurd, I needed to wait. Next recent issues, when we order online, I order the same thing all the time two different burgers made in a very specific way. Example one of them has no lettuce tomato or pickles and nearly half of the time they still put the lettuce tomato pickle on the sandwich. The other frustrating portion is I always order mushrooms on my burger and when they are out of mushrooms they will just write on the burger, sorry out of mushrooms . I paid for those mushrooms and they are never refund to my card. It happens so often. What they should do is pick up the phone and call me and ask if I would like to substitute the mushrooms for additional cheese or something like that, if they are unable to refund it. However, this was my last straw which happened just a few nights ago. I was trying to get through to place a order via phone and when I was calling it would just be off of the hook and the phone was beeping. I finally got through two minutes after they closed orders. I told them I'd like to place a to-go order and they told me, I was too late they close 2 minutes ago. I thought this was very extreme because if I would have called 70 seconds ago I would have been fine and the fact was I was calling for the last ten minutes but their line was busy. However, nevertheless their policy is their policy. That would have been that. However, It bothered me when I went up there an hour and 10 minutes later & the girls were still behind the counter and one of them was making themselves a burger. I'm assuming they were doing cleanup. However, if they were going to be there for another hour and a half (I was in store 20 minutes and they are still their when I left) after I initially called they could have easily accommodated my order. I just let it go and I ended up spending $60 and 25 in lotto in the store, between junk food and other miscellaneous items. However, again I ran into the rude service guy he was so annoyed when I was picking out what lottery tickets. I ask him a simple question, what tickets are new? He thought it necessary let me know he needs to get back to work, I guess helping me isn't working. This isn't everyone at the store the girls behind the Deli are always fantastic. Yes, I do believe they could adopt a few policies for whenever they're out of a product, especially ordered online to either refund that customer or substitute for something else. Overall they are fantastic. Also, one of the night cashiers with the longer hair he is also very fantastic and patient. The fact is if the representatives in the store do not start being respectful all the time, I will make the extra drive and take my business elsewhere. I love to shop local and I loved support local business owners. It's not like it's cheap to order a double cheeseburger if you get all of the fixings, it's typically ten bucks and we typically do two Burgers and the delivery fee of $4 on top of it plus fries. 2 Burgers and Fries will end up being 27 or $28 plus tip. I'm not complaining about the pricing what I'm trying to communicate whenever you are spending that much money on Frozen burgers you want those Burgers to be right. We typically just let it go and scrape off the lettuce tomato or pickle, but on occasion they have mix my burger up and placed Mayo on it and they have been quick to rectify it. I would recommend this shop, the score I'm giving them is a reflection of two staff members the entire store is not like this. I decided that this would be my first review of the year and the hopes that the owner see this and make some changes. I would hate to stop supporting a local business because of two employees that can't seem to put the customer first. Currently, I will definitely continue to support the store. read more

Careful eating here during Covid! The cooks were 2 inches apart and not wearing masks. I do not trust the food. I complained to corporate and was blown off complained to roadrunner manager and he informed me they ate not a restaurant so they dont have to follow Pima Co rules. Posted on Yelp and the unethical people took my post down. I used to really support roadrynner and glad they had burgers and bread etc. But Argenziano's does too and they followed rules. read more

The last outpost. We're out in these parts from time to time, hauling a load or hunting snipe, or whatnot. And I must say, this is the only chance for provisions in many miles. They have a grill with a decent Philly cheese steak. The pizza is fresh and hot, but the quality is just okay. Some fresh produce is available. There's lots of liquid courage to choose from, if that's your thing. Prices are a notch higher than Wally-World, but Wally ain't here. We stop and diesel up on the way out to sawmill canyon. They have a grill and will deliver food to your house for a small fee. Deliveries are cash only. The pizza isn't spectacular just average. Fuel prices are slightly higher than the rest of Tucson. Good, fast food....their crispy fries are good and like the seasoning on them have tried turkey club,Philly, Italian grinder and hamburgers they are all good. We have lived here for 12 years. While the prices are higher than in Tucson, you expect to pay the higher prices due to living out here in the "country". So? Get over it. You made the decision to live here. As long as the establishment is clean and passes the health department inspections, I will shop and get my pizzas etc. from them. The only negative is that the staff needs to work on their customer service skills a bit but then I have seen how some customers treat the staff. Some customers are demeaning, rude, mean spirited and that is just a start. This is a busy place and the staff does try. My advice is that you you don't like the place, move on and go into Rita Ranch. Don't be spiteful just because you got onions on your Hawaiian pizza. You need to tell them what you want. If you end up purchasing a Hawaiian Pizza from here be aware it includes onions! After ordering and picking up the pizza we came to find onions on our pizza?? We called the deli and told them that and they said "that's how we do Hawaiian pizzas here." I'm sorry but every other pizza place does not include onions on their pizza's and if your deli does then you need to disclose that to anyone ordering a Hawaiian pizza. And the fact they would not do anything to solve the issue because it was our fault of not knowing really irritates me. Sometimes I write a 5 star review for something a bit surprising because, for what it is, it is about as good as it gets. The roadrunner is a convenience store/gas station with a deli that delivers. The grocery selection is pretty good for a mini mart and carries stuff like dog food, tuna, mayo, cake mixes, medicine, cleaning supplies, birthday cards etc. It is all about a buck more than Walmart prices, which is expected at a mini mart. The deli is good. Hot grilled subs. I've enjoyed a Philly and a Cajun hoagie. As good as you'd find in the mall food court, or at Subway. Add to that the gas station, and I think they are doing pretty well for themselves. The people working always seem pleasant inside the store. read more

It was Sunday afternoon and I just really didn't want to cook dinner. We live a way from town and also didn't want to go out to dinner. So we decided to try the pizza at Roadrunner Market since it's not far from home. We weren't expecting much from gas station pizza but figured it couldn't be that bad. We were pleasantly surprised when we got it home and agreed it was one of the best pizzas we've ever had. It was easy to order and pay online so all we had to do was pick it up. The lovely lady at the grill even carried it to the car for me. The pizza was great for dinner and maybe even better as leftovers for breakfast the next day. We highly recommend Roadrunner's pizza to all our neighbors and those passing through. read more
