I went a month ago n bought some pozole n it was about 9 dollars. Went the following week n same guy sold me the pozole with the large container as before but now it was almost 17.00.00 I said last week it was 9.00 why has it gone up 7.00 more. He had no real answer but "that was last week n today is another week."I think he is the owner because he was very rude n obnoxious n insulting like meaning "if u don't like it , don't buy it. But I paid it n left. As I entered the tiny store he was chastising the only employee he had. So no, not going there again. read more

for some reason this is probably the only place where you you go order food and they're really stingy with their salsa/pico de gallo I've bought tacos and burritos here for the family and they only give u one salsa and a pico de gallo and wen u ask for more they act like they're not trying to give u any even if u bought food from them read more

I had a very frustrating experience with this business. I was sold food that appeared to be used or tampered with, and when I requested a refund, I was met with poor customer service. I called multiple times to speak with a manager, but the employees were rude and even hung up on me--at one point, I heard an employee ask the owner if she should hang up, and then she did. When I finally spoke to the owner, Jesus, instead of addressing the issue or offering a solution, he seemed more concerned with what time I bought the food and when I got home. That is not the point--I just want my money back for a product that should never have been sold in that condition. The way this situation was handled was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. read more

I live across the street from this market. I have had nothing but great service and excellent food. I often purchase from the butcher and grab a few incidentals on my way out. The prepared food is top notch, and the availability is great as we do not have much to choose from in our neck of the woods (who wants to pack a lunch to get all the way to a grocery store miles away). I can send my teen on his bike, or just a short walk to get what I need in a pinch. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

My husband and went up to our normal spot for carne asada but they went out business, so we decided to try this spot and let me tell you the asada had great flavor and was very tender! We got chips and salsa too which are delicious (spicy) but very good. Next time we will try the pollo now that we found this place! Staff was great and friendly! We will definitely be back for more! Went in a couple of days ago for a Breakfast Burrito. I've had them many time is the past. The price has increased 20 percent, but it's been several months since my last visit, and everything seems to be going up. I took my burrito to go and when I had a chance to eat it there was NO CHEESE on my burrito even, thou it states on the wall it comes with cheese. Seem like a pretty basic item to overlook. This was a really good meat market and general store. More or less it's food city condensed into a small building that was a former gas station. If you are looking for traditional Mexican products for everything from cleaning to candy they probably have it. This little store is extremely clean and neatly organized. I can guarantee they have some of the best tortillas that are imported from Mexico, even better than Alejandros. Even though I am a gringo this place gets my vote. Brought here by another friend to pick up some marinated pork (al pastor) and beef chorizo. My buddy picked up a delicious 6-pack of beef tamales that were heated, wrapped, and ready to be eaten. The location is in an unusual spot just look for the former gas station next to the golf cart repair place. This is definitely a mom and pop shop that somebody built with their own money and I hope they continue to do well.. read more

Stopped in here today. Place is clean and organized. You can tell the owner take a pride in his business. Only thing I had an issue was the meat in the meat case had been there for some time and was getting that dry crust on it. Fluff it turn it over daily! This would not be a problem if they had more business so get over there and buy some. Meat looked like really good quality. Prices are similar in the area. "Medium" home made salsa had a bite! To hot for me. I would like to see maybe a taco grill outside selling street tacos with your meat if the city would allow it, could be a push to get business. read more

If you're looking for authentic Mexican food and grocery items this is your place! The guy behind the meat counter was so nice and friendly. He explained what all the different meats were and how you would use them. He also made recommendations based on our preferences. Looks like just about everything is homemade. The store is clean, well organized snd priced fairly. The ceviche was fantastic, I also saw fresh salsa and guacamole in the refrigerated section. We will pick up tamales the next time, tonight we're having the chorizo in tacos. Excited to find a place like this in Green Valley, we will definitely be back. read more

Great little market. They carry flour tortillas that are made in Mexico and are so thin and light. I'm allergic to preservatives and these amazing tortillas don't have any preservatives. I've also bought Mexican chocolate for mole, green onions, avocados and corn tortillas there. Great service and just a cool place to shop.
