Showed up on the day to rent bikes and they allowed us to try a few before deciding. The bikes could be in better condition, most of the fleet were showing significant wear. One of our e-bikes had low battery charge and even though someone was able to bike out to where we were to delivery another battery, the replacement was also low and wouldn't be enough for the time we rented. We also lost time waiting for the other battery. However, kudos to the staff and owner because they made it right for us when we returned the bikes. Spot has good staff and a great location. Refreshing the bikes with newer models would bump it to 5 stars.

So this evening at Fry's market it's Christmas today and the first thing I did was say Merry Christmas to this lady I've been in the store a few times I should try not to shop there too much because they treat me like pure rudeness and I hope the manager text the camera and see how she yelled at me for no reason when I wish her a Merry Christmas because of a incident that she thinks my dog bit somebody but by law is my dog bit somebody I'm sure the person you know it's not the first time they treat me like this I live on the same corner store and it's not right the way they are towards me you know I've been a good customer for a long time yeah I had a few hiccups here and there but you know they have no proof whatsoever and I apologize to the manager if I did it ever did anything you know at least I commit my fault this lady is way out like you know like the whole world needs to know how like you know she is I couldn't even buy Gatorade that's all I wanted to do she says you're your dog I told her it's Christmas you know and I just wanted to buy Gatorade you know and that's it that's all I wanted you know and I couldnt even do that you know because she start yelling at me like a high power soldier I don't know what the heck's her problem the other man that works there all I see him doing is drinking in the damn damn liquor store like you know you can still tell this guy drinks he yelled at my mom one time like come on dude I told him my mom is older man yell at her like that you know they need to know how rude they are and they treat every other customer nice in front of me and it just hurts I have feelin and I have a bike I don't drive so I have to go ride my bike to the I can't even go to 7-Eleven cuz they the same reason you know the 7-Eleven the guys are like straight mean people and I'm going to do the same thing I haven't file complaint against them too because I'm the nicest person I'm more nicer than them and sometimes I might be a little slow here and there b read more

I logged into the computer today to simply get the telephone number for Fry's. I was going to call them to ask if they have more of a particular wine that I had purchased from them a couple weeks ago. It was so good, I wanted to pick up another bottle! I don't normally write reviews, but in this case i'm going to. Yes! They had it in stock! Thier wine selection isn't BevMo's volumn, but they sure have some great wine, and very competitive pricing! The people that work at Fry's are so awesome! It's the kind-of neighborhood place where everyone knows your name! I also love the fact that you can pick-up household items like Mrs. Meyers products and if I need some milk they have it too. I don't want to 'age' myself, but if I I'm hungry for some nostalgic candy.. yes, they have Chick-O-Sticks and Necco wafers!! A great lil store! Go to Fry's! read more

Fry's just changed ownership!! I'm very excited that the new owners are Newport locals and graduates of NHHS. This store is truly a Newport landmark, even my father has fond memories of this place when he was a boy. Just read a review regarding the change machines people use for parking meters, the city didn't calibrate the parking meters correctly and I was told when I called that they would fix the problem. The same situation happened to me last week as well. I understand the charge , they're a business and they prob get asked for quarters all day long. I'm sure they can't keep $200 a day in quarters available all the time, it's a great idea that they put in the change machine. My friends kids love when they get $1 coins from their Aunt too. Keep up the good work Fry's. Can't wait to see what awesome new things you have in store read more

The blue eyed caucasian man that was standing outside walked in 5 seconds after I did. As he walked in as he was telling another older caucasian woman that was outside "I am going to head in, these girls look like they're about to steal some shit". It didn't process until about 15 seconds after he said it but when I did confront him he wanted to at that he was joking. I sat there and had a whole argument over a comment that should not have been in the first place. It's unprofessional and unnecessary when people are simply wanting to buy from your establishment.
