After trying out several studios here in Las Vegas, we've finally found our taekwondo family here with Master Mccoig and Mrs. Gibbons. This studio trains hard and is dedicated to helping their students achieve the goals they never thought they could attain. They also produce a lot of champions out of this studio, and for the competition side of taekwondo, that means so much. Did I mention they do more than taekwondo here? Yes, they also offer jujitsu, which my 9-year-old daughter has started taking and loves it! The instructor Chris is top-notch. He's clear on safety and in making sure the kids understand what they're being taught. Truly, I believe every girl should learn the art of jujutsu. You never know, It could, one day, save their life. The most important part about all of this is that our kids love Results and are always motivated to go to class, which in turn makes us thrilled as parents. read more

Our daughters attended Results Martial Arts several years ago. We had a very good and positive experience. Positives: - The kids love Mrs. Susie. She is in charge of the front desk, welcoming parents, answering any specific operation questions, etc... She is very sweet, attentive, and cares for the family and children who trains here. She spent a lot of time with our little one with her studies. After all these years, they still talk about her and reminisce. - Sr Master McCoig - we liked him a lot. Very humble, good teacher, soft spoken, and cares about his students - Training wise - it can be bit repetitive, but the kids were able to learn their forms and weapons. Plus, they made many friends along the way - Unlike most schools, we did not feel pressure or "nickeled and dime". They were reasonable and fair. Negatives: - The class can be a bit repetitive. When we were there, I wished they changed it up a bit to make it less "business as usual". - Sparring and combat time is very short. Should be longer or have a dedicated class to this category. - Wished there was "more" seating area w/ a table to allow students to do their homework or parents to do their work while students are training Overall, we enjoyed our time here and we do recommend Results Martial Arts. read more

Do NOT let your kids go here if they are not Asian. They will keep your kid down international. We have been there for years had finally had to leave after our kid worked so hard for this company. They bumped someone almost a year ahead. All the kids and parents are not happy. They are talking and not happy. We all worked so hard for years and no one received this treatment no matter how hard they worked, how many medals they received or what the family was going through. I guess if you just complain enough and pay enough money under the table you can just get a Black Belt and not work as hard as everyone else had to. This company has shown they really are not about the RULE OF TAEKWONDO but about how much money or how much you complain just to get you to shut up. Which has nothing to do with Taekwondo. read more

My son has been taking taekwondo here since September 2022 and just loves it :) You can always hear him laughing during drills with a big ole smile on his face! He may not always follow along but, what 4/5 year old does all the time! I always remind myself of what Mrs. Gibbons, one of the instructors, said "we don't expect them to be perfect (they are 4-7 years old) but, we do expect them to try!" Over the year, I've noticed his growth in his stances, punches, agility, and overall coordination. The team here are so patient and I just love the teen members of the staff. To think that they, also, started as Tiny/Tigers years ago is inspiring. Other than taekwondo, they have jiu jitsu, and weapons classes. Outside of classes, they have activities for families to get involved with, like back to school picnics or Easter Egg hunts. Pretty fun! They really seem like a family and want families to be involved! I love the theme weeks where you can wear things outside of ur uniform during classes :) Or on May the 4th, they had light sabor classes! I hope my little continues to love coming and grows in martial arts. He's a little one but, maybe he can protect himself in the future. Best part for me (personally) is that drop ins are ok! My schedule changes weekly so, it's nice to have options. Also, like the 30 minutes of training in AC -- way better than an outside sport in the sun lol They have a Green Valley location, if the Silverado location isn't feasible. I enrolled my daughter about a year and a half ago. She started out as the most shy, quiet and timid little girl. In her jiu jitsu class, she struggled with standing her ground and fighting back. I was constantly worried when she wasn't with me. Fast forward 1.5 years later, she's kicking ass and fighting boys older and stronger than her! Even won 3rd place in her first BJJ competition at Naga! I also have her enrolled in their black belt club classes for Taekwondo so her conditioning is so much better and she started sparring as well. This school and their instructors have given Natalie the confidence and skills I could only dream of having when I was her age. Results Martial Arts is located a half a mile from where we live. I asked my grandson if he would like to check it out. We went there, and the young girl at the desk was very nice. I told her I wanted to get information about their classes. She said "We have a $25.00 two week special". I said that sounds great. I turned to talk to my grandson to explain, and ask if he wanted to try the special the lady just told me about. As I was talking to my grandson, a lady with her child came to the counter, and I told her it was fine if she wanted to take care of them first while I talked to my grandson. The little boy was beaming, smiling from ear to ear, and the mother was telling the girl at the counter how much he loved it. I thought that was cool to hear. Then the girl said that it would only be $170 something the first month, and then $199.00 the following months for membership. She said this is his first time here, I paid for the $25.00 two week special. The girl at the explained that after the first day, you had to decide if you were going to get the membership. The lady looked confused, and her child was like "Please mommy, can we join ?". The lady paid for the membership, and left after she got him his outfit and stuff, but now I was confused. I asked the girl at the desk, If I give you $25.00 right now, and bring him in for his half hour lesson tomorrow, I have to actually decide then to join or not ? She said yes, but he'll get his outfit and stuff. I said "what happened to the two weeks ?" I said so basically I'm actually paying $25.00 for one half hour lesson, the two weeks have disappeared, and after paying for one lesson, I have to either join, or not join ? It sounded like a bait and switch scheme, or some kind of scam. I said Thank-You, but I think we'll pass. I talked with some of my friends about it, and they couldn't understand about the $25.00 two week special either. We checked out 4 places. A week later I found a place my grandson and I liked. It cost more a month than Results Martial Arts was charging, but it was never about the money. It was the feeling of being swindled about the two weeks ... where did the two weeks go ? read more

My son did a trial run here, he didn't like it and neither did I. He is 4 and this was his first time doing an extracurricular activity. I expected the instructors to be nice and good with kids but our experience was the opposite. My son was new and we never got a welcome, we didn't meet or talk to the owners once, I would think if you own a business you'd be personable and not have a sour look on your face and look like you hate to be there, but hey that's just me... The male (main) instructor was always giving my son dirty looks and seemed frustrated with him. He was completely new at something like this and that instructor made an uncomfortable experience for him, he and the other main instructor which I'm guessing (from other reviews) was his wife were both very unpleasant. If you are not good with kids DON'T offer kids classes. I wanted my son to have a fun and non stressful experience so I signed him up for KidStrong and he is excelling wonderfully. Probably because the coaches are amazing there! And after he is done with his contract there we will be putting him into Jiu Jitsu where he can actually gain real confidence and discipline. read more

Master Mccoig and his wife Mrs Susie are like my parents. They do not tolerate any disrespect and they teach us about being thankful for our parents everyday. The review I am writing is based on my first-hand experience with Susie. I know Wade will respond, as he does to every review, but just wanted to ensure a clear understanding that he was only present for a fraction of this review. As a business owner you have rights. As customer we have rights as well. At the end of the day, Susie was very unprofessional. The name-calling, the inability to listen, and the inability to comprehend what is being said without her judgement already clouding her preconceived thoughts, eventually steamrolling this situation from bad to worse to toxic. This is all coming from the businesses owner. I've had my run-in with some terrible business owners before, the soup nazi, the pizza nazi, ladies and gentlemen allow me to introduce you to the martial arts nazi. To slander my girlfriend and her mother to me, was very unprofessional, unnecessary, and the main reason why I'm leaving this review. Water-event aside, I was told by Susie herself that she spoke to other parents about us. Why? You have business partners, you have a staff, be professional, and stop trying to build your self-fulfilling prophecy by bad-mouthing your customers to other customers. You could have been professional about it, pulled us aside the night of, the next day, the next time, addressed the situation, and moved on from there. You try and come off as this nice, sweet, innocent, god-fearing woman, but you're just as childish as the children you yell at that you pull off the floor. At the time of terminating our contract, my girlfriend was explaining to Susie that we were not aware of the water rule prior to that night. We spoke to our son after the class, told him he couldn't have water during class anymore, and he acknowledged. Exactly what you wanted, right? After hearing this, angrily, Susie calls Wade over, Wade asks about the story, and my girlfriend tells him the exact same story she tells Susie, in that instance, Susie throws her hands in the air like a crazy person, tears the contract, and writes void on it. Wade asked a question, we responded, It's like you already had in your mind you were going to terminate the contract, why go through your dog and pony show to make it look like you cared? Oh, and on another note, even after voiding our contract, Results Martial Arts tried to run my card for a 2nd time, after the contract was voided. And to even think, Wade had to force Susie back inside when he was having a conversation with my girlfriend's mother outside, because she was unable to control her outburst was definitely a sight to witness. And more thing, Susie you have some nerve to try and flip the story to Wade when you told him that our son didn't ask for water and we just wanted to randomly give him water. Are you some kind of nut-case? the instructor, and you, told him no-water, but when the child next to us was sick and drinking water, we didn't want our son to suffer the same fate. Doing what we think is best for our child, gave him water, as he sat out the rest of class, like the child next to us. And to Wade, we did run into some parents at Walmart, they echo'd the same sentiments we addressed. Interesting how you said you talked to them, even though you didn't know who we spoke to? but i guess thats besides the fact. read more

What better way to introduce discipline , structure and humility than in some kind of Martial Arts form. We just started with the new location at this school and wow this school is great. Mr.blanc is the teacher and he's so good with the kids. Mrs. Susie just loves the kids she's very helpful on anything you need. This school is very personable and involved with the kids. They have contests and stuff. We love our Results Martial Arts family! All my boys train here and love it! The McCoigs and the rest of the staff are simply amazing and so welcoming! Now what I really like most about this school is that they don't only offer taekwondo, but jiu jitsu and kickboxing for the adults. This was a huge deciding factor for me since the last school they came from in Washington, they were learning tkd, bjj, and judo. Also, another added perk - my one on one time with the teenager during kickboxing. What a great way to bond with your child. I definitely recommend this school if you're looking to get your children into martial arts or even for yourself. They have a great children and adult program. There are so many things I would love to share about Results Martial Arts. I started my son at 7 years old to help him gain confidence. He was never that team sport type of guy. He got so much more at this gym. They are family to us. He received his black belt along with life lessons and lifetime friendships through this amazing school. Looking back 3 years ago, we first attended a free class for my boys at this school. I found them on the internet and was really happy to have stumbled on their website. I had high expectations since I had training myself. I was very impressed with Master Wade McCoig for his professionalism and how he instills life lessons and martial arts skills with my kids. My kids have learned the value of hard work and perseverance. With all the training that my boys received from this school, I really they have developed not only physical but mental toughness as well. We are now traveling for tournaments that the boys are really excited for and looking forward to prepare. I think of it as an investment for my kids' physical and self development.
