The portions were generous. The prices are much more reasonable than any that you find in the area. The service is excellent. Many locals eat here. The servers bustle all around without seeming to be in a hurry. Other patrons carry on a low humming din of conversation, and the majority of individual patrons are immersed in their separate musings and cogitations. Honestly, I'm shocked -not- to see a sea of Macbooks glowing their merry Apple emblems away here. While prices aren't stupidly affordable (see Le Regal for that), you won't leave hungry or feeling cheated. And a refreshed, placid state of mind is one well worth dropping a few extra pounds on.

Everything was fresh and well-put-together - not over-the-top extraordinary, but enjoyable and somewhat artistically presented in that mode that is so standard of museum restaurants. Even though the chairs and tables here are bit cafeteriaesque, the fact that the café is all glass, and provides a view of the riverside terrace, slightly makes up for this in terms of atmosphere.
