Went here to eat lunch a few days ago, asked for our burgers to be well done because they are known to leave them very pink on the inside. The order was ready fairly quickly, so I asked the cashier that took the order if they cooked them well done because they were done really fast. He looks at the register and says yes, you requested them well done. I told him I know I requested them to be well done, but they came out really fast. Did they cook them well done? He said yes. Took our food to the table, sliced the burger open, and it was very red, as usual. I took it back to the front and asked him if they could cook it longer, they cooked it a very short time, brought it out to us, and again it wasn't cooked well done. I've also noticed the last few times that we've been there, the cheese is very runny. I assume they're adding water to it so that it lasts longer. This time the cheese didn't seem to be as runny... But, it was not the jalapeño cheese either that it stipulates on the container. This place is too expensive to eat there for the food to be subpar. Looks like another favorite has gone down the drain. I guess it's now Texas Burger or Dos Compadres for burgers in the future. read more

Ordered a crispy chicken sandwich and was given just plain chicken tenders. Had to then ask for a bun, which was cold, like out of the fridge. Our fries were cold and soggy. Asked for a oatmeal raisin cookie and was given chocolate chip cookie. Went ahead and ate it, it was stale and hard. Also added on a rice krispy treat. Don't eat at this location in Odessa, Texas inside of The City Music Mall, the employees are very repulsive and unprofessional in the kitchen that took place in the afternoon. My biggest problem was the small latina lady with the hair bun while she was cooking the food, I saw her pulling out her phone and utilizing it also touching her nose with the same gloves she got on and didn't attempt to change them, I contemplated that wasn't professional and very unsanitized to the point I asked for a manager and got my refund and left even so, I almost called HR about this situation. This is a tough review. I absolutely loved the atmosphere here. I loved how they just served burgers and you built it yourself after that. I loved that they have buffalo burgers. I loved the soda machines since they have the all purpose machines that serves everything, which is great because I drink Diet Dr. Pepper and most sit down restaurants dont carry that. The service was fast and the staff was friendly. However, the fries just weren't good and they tasted like they had been sitting awhile which couldn't have been because they were busy and it was dinner. My son wouldn't even eat his and he loves fries. The burger was good, but nowhere near as good as buffalo burgers I have in other places. This is the worst Fuddruckers I have EVER gone to. The locations in Dallas and Houston are top notched. The Odessa location is filthy, dirty, everything looks broken in there. Stood in a long line and when I made it to the Register I realized the credit card machine is still down after 6 months and cashier has to hand enter all credit cards STILL!!!!! As far as the food, bun was dry, meat had a burnt taste but fries were tasty. The veggie area wasn't clean, condiment area was nasty and filthy. The cheese wasn't in a pump container, they expected you to put it in a tiny cup so of course that area was extremely dirty. Water leak by the drink fountain, ice and water on the floor which is dangerous. It is hard to look around at this run down location when I am so used to Fuddruckers having a standard, at least all the other many locations I have visited over the years. Management or owner needs to take a step back and either close it down and find a new location or shut down for awhile and renovate. I will not recommend anyone go to this embarrassing location until a change is made. read more

Great place to eat while shopping at the mall. Good burger and always tasty for my family of 4. Usually get my burger cooked medium well and comes out perfect and love adding a fried egg and avocado and mushrooms on the side. (Yes I am weird but it's delicious) I was not a fan of the bourbon burger and sometimes when I call in and go pick it up they haven't even started my order until I get there that's the only reason why I have a four star. Other than that my kids love the food and every time we come shopping at the mall we always stop here or we love to come after church. This place is not what I was expecting. Came in from Houston where all the Fuddruckers are outstanding and have excellent service. Was here 2 hours after the lunch crowd so it was pretty empty. Immediately I notice that just about half of the tables are dirty. Not just mildly dirty, full on food and plates left on the table. Kinda gross but whatever. Get in line and order. Placed my order and told her medium well on the burger. I eat medium rare steaks and can eat pink burgers but prefer it medium well. I'm glad I can eat it pretty pink because it was pink throughout. Then going to get the mustard and ketchup. Kinda gross where they are and people had obviously let all the various sauces leak on the table. Then going to sit down. Right across from me is the manager. Nice shirt and looks professional. He was eating with a friend of some sorts. Tables are all still gross and the one I finally sat down at had to be wiped off due to salt/pepper and spilled mustard. Didn't even check up from them. I've worked in the restaurant industry years ago and my managers never took a break unless all work visible to the customers was finished. Went for lunch, ordered the fish and chips, when I picked up the order looked a little dark, tried it when I got to the table and they seemed as they were cooked in old oil. Dark and dripping in oil, took them back to the pickup area and told they that they were not up to par they offered to remake after letting them know that I didn't want them if they were cooked in the same dirty old oil they assured me they wouldn't be. well the second order came out worse than the first they apologized and offered to make a hamburger but told them I didn't have the time to wait. We have always loved this place, but this one location has to be the worst by far I have ever been to. The cashier was extremely rude and disrespectful. They did not have the ingredients to make several of the things on the menu. It was very dirty. The drink machines and condiments were not out or working and employees didn't seem to care. The credit card machines were down and the cashier didn't feel the need to tell us until after order was placed. It's just too cramped drink machines, condiment bar, vegetable bar all crunched in one small area right next to the food pick up line. You get bumped into constantly. Just too much of a hassle.
