What a great visit for our first time at this Texas Roadhouse location. Marcos, our server did an excellent job making sure our needs were being addressed. The on shift manager Brittany even stopped by to ensure we were happy with our meals. We started with red bean chili that was absolutely delicious perfectly spicy & super tasty (we even ordered some to take with us) I enjoyed the 6 oz sirloin with broccoli & carrots which was perfectly cooked & flavorful. Hubby had the ribeye which was also perfectly cooked & delicious his fries were heavily salted but he forgot to ask for no seasoning (no fault to staff for our oversight) We arrived about 3:30 so it wasn't crowded or loud & we were seated quickly. ordered on line, said my order was ready at 7:15. THe pick up window is outside (thank goodness the weather was nice), I stood in line 45 minutes to get my food. Needless to say the steak was cold ( also cooked medium, I ordered medium well), the potato was warm and the salad was soggy. so disappointed in this order. on another note, car parked where we were waiting and it reeked of marijuana so we got to smell that the whole time. I would give this location zero stars if I could. Last night we came in with a party of 15 to celebrate two birthdays. We expected a wait since it was a busy Saturday night, and waiting about two hours for a table was understandable. When we were finally seated, they split us into two booths next to each other, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, everything went downhill from there. Each table had a different waitress, and the experience between the two was completely uneven. One table was taken care of and received their food, while the other table was essentially ignored. That table never received refills, and after waiting over an hour and a half, they still had no food--only to find out their order was never even put in. Six kids and three adults sat there hungry the entire time while the rest of the party ate. To make matters worse, the only resolution offered by the manager was a simple "I'm sorry." No attempt to make things right, no discount, no voucher, nothing. This was extremely disappointing, especially for a birthday celebration. If you have a large group that can't fit at one table, I strongly recommend going somewhere else. We will not be returning. read more

We ate at this Texas Roadhouse while staying over in Odessa. The food was what you would expect, the service was good but this was one of the loudest Roadhouses we went to. I don't know if it was the fact that it was very busy, but it was hard to think or hold a conversation with each other. Also where we sat was really close to where the servers congregated and with the number of people getting to and from their tables we always had people standing near us. read more

We went to this Texas Roadhouse twice. It was really easy and safe during COVID because you wear your mask to and from the table with plastic dividers between the tables. We also had kids with us during the second visit and the kids' menus were helpful with the kids activities to keep them occupied and happy! The food was good both times. My boyfriend's steak was a little overcooked the first night but it was a busy Friday night on a holiday weekend so that was forgivable. Because of COVID, they offer the option to pay via phone and all of the menus are viewed via phone only - with the exception of the kid's menus only. Can't say anything bad about the food. We have been going there for years. The rolls and the butter are soooo good. Be careful, you'll fill up on them and forget you have a meal coming... well, maybe that's not a bad thing. You can take all your food home. Lol The wait staff is awesome! The only complaint I have is that it's a very loud place. So, if you're going there to have good conversation, it might not be the place to go, unless you talk really loud. Everything was top notch, steak cooked just right gravy was great and of course the yeast rolls and the cinnamon butter were delicious! Wife ordered the Chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes all covered in cream gravy and a dinner salad with the world's best ranch dressing! She enjoyed her meal as much as I did mine and had some chicken to go home with. We would recommend and of course in our experience the steaks are excellent, service was good as well ! Food is always excellent. We ate there twice last week. My favorite is Road Kill which is a delicious chop steak covered in mushrooms and gravy. The rolls with butter are just icing on the cake. Food is always great but the bartenders are terrible, every time we go they are busy on their phones or loving on the boyfriends and you have to holler a couple times to get them to do anything and they do not say thank you and have a good evening or come back. One of my favorite go to places. Sadly the service has gone down hill horribly. I recently became disabled and I learned that Texas Roadhouse is not the place to go as a wheelchair bound customer. We were sat in the tightest possible spot when I know that there are other options in the restaurant. I was stuck out in the middle of the isle in everyone's way. Along with that the food was awful. I'm paying good money for your discounted steak I expect to at least get it cooked properly. I could have bought better steaks at the store. Their atmosphere is one that is overcrowded, and loud. The food is a hit and miss, and they are fully staffed, but due to the crowding, it's hard for them to get back to you in a timely manner. read more

I was really in the mood for steak. It was cooked correctly and hit the spot. I had the 18oz sirloin with Caesar salad and loaded sweet potato. Service was good, not sure how they make a profit with what seemed like 50 wait staff but they got it done. The restaurant is fairly noisy, seems like every location is that way. Second I ordered a 6 oz filet medium rare. My steak showed up burnt and brown all the way threw. My sides were also cold as if they been sitting. Ordered freshly brewed coffee, and they brought me a see-through was so nasty looking and water down. Brought it yo the attention of the server, and she was gullible in stating what's wrong with it? It appears to be poor training. Then they brought me my ribeye a9nd it was laying on a bed of grease. The bottom of the plate was covered in greasy oil, no prevention at all. I took it as a revenge for complaining about the coffee. I was there because I have money to buy their products and to pay for their services. Wasn't my most fav times there today but I will say I appreciate how everything was handled. Was sat and a server that wasn't ours took our drink order after a few moments of noticing I was a bit upset. Appetizer came out wrong but they said sorry and fixed it asap. Kept our drinks filled at all times checked on us as much as she could(this is our server not the other worker). Food came out my steak was a bit over cooked but they took it back and had 2 managers check on us and apologized about it. It took a bit for a steak to come back but it came back great. Sometimes you just want a good steak. It struck me as kinda funny that I've lived in Texas now over two years and yet I'd not been to Texas Roadhouse to eat. I figured, "What the heck" and opted for dinner today after I wrapped up my business. It was a very satisfying decision. My friend and I received very courteous service. One of our servers was training and bless her heart, she was so soft spoken so we encouraged her to loosen up a bit. I remember when I first got into the work world and how intimidating it can be to deal with older people. (Oh gosh, I'm "older people" now .) The food was delicious. They let me choose my own steak from the case up front. I opted for a loaded sweet potato . Great way to save on dessert later by the way. My drink was so so but that was kinda my plan because I have some more driving miles to cover tomorrow. All in all, this was a great dining experience. Comfortable environment, great food.
