Overpriced/ small portions Bean a cheese burrito with 2 birria tacos with beans and rice. $25.

My husband went here today 10/12/23 for lunch to get a bowl, asada fries and a burrito. My son ordered the burrito. Half way eating it he stumbles upon a rock!! When he said pebble, I thought a super small PEBBLE. But this was a rock, very lightweight rock but still a rock. Thankfully none of his teeth broke but that was a huge possibility. He was left with a bad taste in mouth and didn't want to finish it. I'm so disappointed. We haven't been here in a couple years.. to come back to this. A big shame! Maybe if they had more than 1 person, the cook could've caught it. The cook was taking orders and cooking causing a huge delay.

Social media post - $ tacos
    Whit D.

Found this place off Instagram today ... thought I'd try it since it is taco Tuesday and all. On Instagram it says $ tacos for taco Tuesday but when you get to the window to order there $1.65, saying prices went up for the new year. That's understandable , but the post on social media was earlier on the same day I went. Please have prices on social media match prices at locations. Ordered food at the window , paid and got my ticket with a number on it, waited at one of the tables in the courtyard. I noticed the chef or cook go to his car with a bag and then come back and go straight to the grill.... No hand washing or gloves unfortunately. Sadly it is Covid times: hand washing is important . The tacos were good , tasty and warm.

I guess most people don't know that you can select the restaurant, but this is for the food truck. Anyways. Food here is very good. Went with the wife and we split some tacos - pastor and asada and quesadilla (a giant quesadilla) with steak. Everything was good. Some may view it as an issue, as I have seen in some review, but i do not - they cook your food to order so it can take a minute. People who work there are polite enough. The place is clean and the food is good. Not much more you can ask for from a food truck. They do have tables and umbrellas which is nice, so it is fancy food truck. Not knowing the drink situation, we brought our own, but they have drinks and water. I would be curious if you could bring beer for dinner. We did three tacos and a quesadilla and it was to much food. Look forward to returning.

Response from owner about my review. She failed to acknowledge my wrong order or not giving me all the food I paid for though.

Update: marked my review down to 1 star after realizing that the owner messaged me a rude response to not liking that they received a bad review (picture attached). So on top of being slow, making our order wrong, and not even giving me all the food I paid for, she decided to try to insult my patience? This is exactly why my review was accurate and now everyone else knows I'm not just some rattled customer. Everything about this place is lacking, even after your dining experience is over. Good luck to the brave souls that decide to still come here.

We have been to this place 5 times just for the asada fries with al pastor. Lol. They come with grilled onions, chili sauce, and a green creamy sauce they make. They are soooo good.

    Danny C.

The go to place for asada fries. Perfectly crispy fries like they should be, tons of meat and pico and the red salsa has just the perfect kick you need that keeps you coming back for more.

This was $13 supposed to have extra cheese for $ but I didn't notice. Wasn't even enough for my 3 year old

Very good. Asada was tasty. My daughter had the tacos and loved them Just felt like over priced

I drive by this place every day on my way to work and back home I finally decided to give it a shot I was craving a burrito so I stopped by and ask for an asada burrito I was hungry and decided to eat the burrito in my car with the AC full blast I tried taking a bite and I could not chew through the Damm tortilla I was sitting inside my car it was kind of dark I thought I was maybe biting on a piece of wrapping paper or something that turn on the light to my surprise it was the tortilla so I thought no big deal I just ripped off that hard piece of the tortilla then decided to take another bite and boom the same damn thing hard tortilla I was starving so I just ended up eating the insides of it with no tortilla overall I give this place a one star because the asada meat was good I probably will never come back

    Kaitlin O.

None of my food came with toppings‍ I'm pretty annoyed. Is completely not at all what I was expecting. It's very disappointing. This is what scuba fries and tacos are SUPPOSED to look like. And this is what I got..... Like how is this even ok.....

First off it was a steady flow of customers for a Wednesday evening. Many birthdays! We were sat immediately and waiter came to take our drink order. I had a mango chamoy margarita, while my husband got a roasted chili cucumber margarita on the rocks. His drink was SPICY! I ordered the shrimp fajitas and my husband ordered the chicken and steak molcajete. Our food was brought out super fast! The portions - humongous! But the food is so good! My husband is super picky when it comes to Mexican food, and he said this molcajete is his favorite so far compared to other Mexican restaurants we've been to. The bright colorful colors and great music selection really make it joyous and fun dining experiences. Highly recommend.

I couldn't really taste the difference between the Paloma and the margarita ‍. The place is decorated really nice but what they should've focused on was making agood food. I'm so glad I only ordered appetizers because had I ordered food I would've wasted so much money. Birria tacos simply taste like red beef tacos, no real authentic flavor. Shrimp skewers I was told was okay but even that had more veggies than actual shrimps. The rice wasn't cooked all the way. The presentation on nachos was excellent but the nachos were gross. No flavor in guacamole. Beans were plain beans bland af. The chicken wasn't seasoned and had an awful charbroiled taste, just awful! The salsa weren't spicy or tasty. I can only recommend this place for a good happy hour spot because prices are outrageous for drinks. Once again they should've focused on the food than the decor.

Parking is street only, but trust me... it's 100% worth the hassle. From the moment we walked in, the experience was great. We were warmly greeted and given the option to get recommendations or browse the menu ourselves, which I appreciated. After taking our time, we ordered the chicken quesadilla, nacho fries, and a California burrito, along with salsa verde, chubbie salsa, and chipotle salsa. The food? Incredible. A solid 10/10. Everything was packed with flavor, the meat was juicy (not dry at all), and the salsas absolutely stole the show. On top of that, the staff really made the experience stand out. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and kept checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Great food, great music (nothing but bangers the whole time), and amazing service. The place is pretty easy to find on the corner of 18th & R. There isn't a lot of seating for more than parties of 4. We were a party of 6 and we all smooshed into a horseshoe booth inside. There are only 2 of these booths available and they indicated they are not able to place additional seating at the booths. I imagine you might be able to put tables together outside for a larger party. We were greeted warmly, and while I felt overwhelmed by the amazing choices, the gal taking our order put me at ease by walking me through the menu board. We got amazing carnitas quesadillas and tacos and another dish that came on top of a mound of delicious fries. It's the kind of place where you order, then sit down and they bring you the food. We were well taken care of. Our drinks were refilled and they brought us 'to go' boxes. Their portions are generous and just tasty. And the iced tea was perfect! We ordered a full order of chips and salsa. That is extra. It was $6 for a full order ($5 for half) and these chips were well worth the cost. We will be back!

To make things worse, about 10 minutes before closing, they turned the lights all the way up and shut the music off, which made it very clear we were being pushed out. No one came by to offer boxes for our food (I had more than half my meal left), and my guest didn't even get to finish her drink.
