Fuel is my go to spot to grab a coffee any time I am in the Farmington area! I can always guarantee that no matter what I get, it's going to taste great! The staff is super friendly and answers any questions you may have! I always try to get the special - never disappoints! In the picture is a wedding cake latte (yum!) and I recently had the white chocolate pumpkin latte and I will be thinking about it for the foreseeable future! (I actually had 2 of them because I got another on my way home!) Overall, it's a cute little coffee shop that I highly recommend! The pastries are also really good!

What a great local spot! We were driving through town for a wedding and we stopped both times we went through! Their coffee was fantastic and you can not go wrong with their baked goods!

This former gas station is a terrific local spot to get coffee and pastries when I'm in the Ohiopyle region. It's a comfortable car themed place with indoor and outdoor seating. Their espresso options are plentiful and they make excellent latte's. I always stop here atleast once when I'm camping

Stopped by on a camping trip nearby. Went in for the daily caffeine fix and found Fuel. AMAZING service. Friendly staff and the coffee is fantastic. Lots of seating space and a relaxed environment. Will definitely have to stop by again.

The coffee is just alright--honestly was not super impressed. However, their cinnamon roll and nut rolls were delicious! Be sure to get there early because on a weekend there was a long line! Definitely a quirky little coffee place to stop by in the area.

I am visiting PA from California and as my friends and I are roadtripping to Washington D.C, a friend suggested fuel and Wow great experience! Service was quick, smooth and so sweet! I'm someone who loves to ask for recommendations and our cashier was so open and willing to provide some recommendations! In cali, I've been on the search for a pumpkin latte with cold foam AND WHEN I TELL YOU SUCH GREAT FLAVOR! It is sweet but you still get the taste of coffee that I long for in sweet lattes! I personally like my milk base to be non dairy for the creamy effect it usually gives but cold foam is okay to have dairy in AND BOTH PAIRD AMAZINGLY! The coffee shop is small but gives such a welcoming feeling and it looks like a nice place to just sit and have a drink or for a quick stop like we did! My friends got an ice oat milk, vanilla Matcha (great green color and a creamy taste!) and a hot hazelnut latte (a nutty taste and very light) Hope to come visit again when I come back to the east coast!

So visiting family here and asked them to take us to around the cute towns! Charlie and Lauren King brought us to their favorite coffee place. I'm so excited we came here. The atmosphere here is so cute and welcoming. The staff are sweet and enjoyable. I'm not a coffee drinker, but they cateemr to non-coffee drinker. The nut roll was a perfect sweet, not overpowering, and went well with my yummy frap. The seating arrangement is comfy, and if I lived close enough, this would be my spot!

What a gem! We were on US40 on our way to the Youghiogheny recreation area to see the old bridge. We were looking for a place to get something to eat and Fuel Coffee Works stood out. We wanted just about everything on the menu board. We went with a chai latte, a yogurt parfait, and pepperoni rolls. All of was great. The decor of the place is very clean and eclectic. If I lived nearby, I would be a regular. This food gave us the energy to put in over 10,000 steps traipsing about the dry Youghiogheny lake bottom.

Stopped here on my way to Nemacolin and ordered a large Irish cream latte, picked up some chocolate cookies and nut rolls. The latte was delicious and perfectly made, and the chocolate chip were delicious--especially if you put them in the microwave for 10-15 seconds. Friendly and helpful service. Received drink within 5 minutes. Really cool vibe inside this establishment. I see why others rated this 5 stars. Keep up the great work!

I have passed this place numerous times on the way to Ohiopyle. Today, I finally stopped in. It was around 9am and the parking lot was busy. I walked in and only two people were in line ahead of me and everything moved quickly. I ordered a dirty chai and a cinnamon roll. The dirty chai was probably the best I've ever had. It was heavy on the chai spice and not really sweet at all. The cinnamon roll was amazing. Definitely fresh, not dry at all, and the icing has a little maple flavor to it. The decor inside is adorable. There is a ton of seating and a lot of people were in there enjoying their food and drinks and chatting away. The bathroom was clean bc stocked with soap and paper towels. I would definitely recommend!

We travel between Pittsburgh and Virginia a lot and this is always on our way to and from. We finally stopped to try and were not disappointed. The woman who took our order (I wish I remembered her name!!) gave great suggestions for what to order as first timers. She was so nice and felt like a friend taking my order. The coffee (her suggestion) was amazing. The place inside is super cute and I love the outdoor seating as well. Feels like a local, cozy coffee spot that we will be back to on our travels!

Stopped in here to get a nitro brew. It was delicious. They have indoor and outdoor seating, yummy snacks and a variety of drinks from chai to tea to coffee. They have Covid friendly seating and also encourage Togo orders.

This is an awesome, unique coffee shop right along Rt 40 in Farmington! Staff was super friendly and pleasant. They have a nice seating area- I used to make the trek out here and do homework during the day when I was a student at PSU Fayette for a semester. This is a must stop if you're visiting Ohiopyle!

Best coffee on the mountain. The only issue I have with this establishment is that the owner is rumored to be homophobic.

I asked a couple questions about the menu and was immediately directed to the BLT by a woman in the kitchen. Wow I wasn't disappointed. It was sooooo good. The bread was toasted perfectly (so it didn't kill the roof of my mouth), the tomato's and lettuce were fresh, the bacon crispy, and that basil mayo. A life changing BLT if there is such a thing. A couple side notes I appreciate. Bittersweet's marketing team deserves. Ton of credit - they have some awesome swag available for purchase. Also, this is a Christian oriented cafe with bible verses, messaging, and music. Love it! And finally, check out the story about Bittersweet's roots, its commitment to addiction recovery/support, and the owner's son's story/passing. The name "Bittersweet Cafe" will take on a deeper meaning (the news articles can be found in the walls before the counter by the bathrooms). Cheers Bittersweet, thanks for having me, and God bless!

Nice landscaping provides a near perfect setting to enjoy a cup of coffee. I ended up getting a simple red eye. It was delicious. I understand they brew Iron Star coffee out of West Mifflin. The same Iron Star that owns Coffee Tree shops. If this coffee is any indication, I think I need to visit Coffee Tree again. It's been a while. Anyway, I had a really good cup of coffee and a peanut butter and jelly cookie. No complaints on the cookie, but I wish they had some breakfast sweets like scones or cinnamon rolls. Next time I'll try some real food. Just be aware that things are a little pricey here.

The place was packed and the hostess would not look at us. She put her hand over her face and looked to the servers walking past. One of the servers said, "We're closed." We said, "oh... ok." And left. Listen, I've worked in the restaurant industry. I get it, it's frustrating when people come in close to closing time. However, if the posted signage has a closing time of 2pm that means you are open and taking customers until that time. If the kitchen closes earlier, that should be posted. If that isn't the case, even if you really want to clock out, you need to stay. Especially if you're located in a remote location with travelers coming through. Luckily there was a Dollar General nearby and we could grab something to eat... not the experience we were hoping for.

I said this shop is a little one - more specifically, the interior is small. They have a good number of outdoor seating options, which were not in use at 3:00 on a cool November afternoon. But over the summer, this would absolutely be a great spot to sit down, sip your drink, and either prep for a hike or recover after one. The staff were very nice and welcoming when I stopped in a couple of weekends ago. I ordered a lavender latte and got a couple of cute stickers for good measure. I didn't get any food or snacks, but I did note that there are some nice options here that I'd like to sample in the future! The latte itself was delicious, with the right mix of coffee, milk, and flavoring for me. I then enjoyed my coffee while strolling on one of the easier trails - it was so relaxing and was the perfect way to end my weekend. (Don't worry: my trash made it back to my car and didn't become litter in our beautiful state park!) I would absolutely come here again, and love knowing that there's a cute coffee shop to help kick off or wrap up a nice afternoon on the trails.
