We were making the nine hour drive home from DC and needed to some caffeine- but didn't want to stop at a chain (ahem, Starbucks). This spot was perfect! We ordered a piece of the banana cake, nitro cold brew and a flat white with half and half. The staff was friendly and quick- just what we needed to get back on the road. It's perfectly located along the National 40 historic road and east to hop on and off. Not to mention easy parking and charming gas station-car-decor. Highly recommend! read more

What a great find out in the back roads of Pennsylvania. If you are a coffee snob like me you know how important it is to have great coffee of all types from drip to cortado or a caramel espresso. This is the place for you.. they do hot and cold drinks that are excellent. And not just excellent for the area but overall for me. I have been all over the Bay Area of Northern California and then the world and drinking coffee and this place stacks up as a solid choice for sure. The staff is friendly, they know their coffee. Plenty of parking, easy to get to, and it is such a nice design as it was an old gas station. They have all sorts of car and motorcycle antiques and motifs. Fuel Coffee Works is a super solid local spot with a great vibe! It's a cool garage-themed coffee shop inside a former gas station, and their beautiful espresso machine is on full display. I was pleasantly surprised to see they serve Vigilante Coffee (a Maryland favorite). I grabbed a National Pike latte, a locally made cinnamon bun, and some local honey--everything tasted amazing. The only downside was a slip-up in service: it took about 10 minutes for the staff to realize someone else had walked off with my drink. They apologized and handled it fine, but it was a bit of a wait. Still a good experience and would hit the spot again if I was local. read more

Fuel is my go to spot to grab a coffee any time I am in the Farmington area! I can always guarantee that no matter what I get, it's going to taste great! The staff is super friendly and answers any questions you may have! I always try to get the special - never disappoints! In the picture is a wedding cake latte (yum!) and I recently had the white chocolate pumpkin latte and I will be thinking about it for the foreseeable future! In cali, I've been on the search for a pumpkin latte with cold foam AND WHEN I TELL YOU SUCH GREAT FLAVOR! It is sweet but you still get the taste of coffee that I long for in sweet lattes! I personally like my milk base to be non dairy for the creamy effect it usually gives but cold foam is okay to have dairy in AND BOTH PAIRD AMAZINGLY! The coffee shop is small but gives such a welcoming feeling and it looks like a nice place to just sit and have a drink or for a quick stop like we did! My friends got an ice oat milk, vanilla Matcha (great green color and a creamy taste!) and a hot hazelnut latte (a nutty taste and very light) Hope to come visit again when I come back to the east coast! read more

So visiting family here and asked them to take us to around the cute towns! Charlie and Lauren King brought us to their favorite coffee place. I'm so excited we came here. The atmosphere here is so cute and welcoming. The staff are sweet and enjoyable. I'm not a coffee drinker, but they cateemr to non-coffee drinker. The nut roll was a perfect sweet, not overpowering, and went well with my yummy frap. The seating arrangement is comfy, and if I lived close enough, this would be my spot! read more

What a gem! We were on US40 on our way to the Youghiogheny recreation area to see the old bridge. We were looking for a place to get something to eat and Fuel Coffee Works stood out. We wanted just about everything on the menu board. We went with a chai latte, a yogurt parfait, and pepperoni rolls. All of was great. The decor of the place is very clean and eclectic. If I lived nearby, I would be a regular. This food gave us the energy to put in over 10,000 steps traipsing about the dry Youghiogheny lake bottom. read more

I have passed this place numerous times on the way to Ohiopyle. Today, I finally stopped in. It was around 9am and the parking lot was busy. I walked in and only two people were in line ahead of me and everything moved quickly. I ordered a dirty chai and a cinnamon roll. The dirty chai was probably the best I've ever had. It was heavy on the chai spice and not really sweet at all. The cinnamon roll was amazing. Definitely fresh, not dry at all, and the icing has a little maple flavor to it. The decor inside is adorable. There is a ton of seating and a lot of people were in there enjoying their food and drinks and chatting away. The bathroom was clean bc stocked with soap and paper towels. I would definitely recommend! read more

I always pick up a couple of their donuts and crumb cakes for my family for the way back home. It almost belongs near a big city and it has the best of both worlds: world class coffee options and super friendly staff. Fast and helpful customer service, high end place with a strong understanding of coffee in all its forms, high end delivery and extremely unique ambiance and atmosphere. Not pretentious but extremely well designed and comfortable to sit at, while you read or enjoy your cup of favorite coffee or espresso. Fuel coffee rocks! If you're passing through or staying at Nemacolin, this place is a MUST. The coffee/lattes were so fresh and delicious. I had to come back a 2nd day and to my delight they had fresh made breakfast sandwiches with egg and sausage on a croissant. The sausage is unlike anything I've ever had, it was so fresh and none of it was processed. Before you leave, and I mean every word of what I'm typing...you HAVE to get the Apple fritter! I have never, EVER in my life had anything so dang delicious and so fresh. It was perfection and now all I can do is talk about that fritter. My husband ordered a white mocha latte and said it was far better than anything Starbucks had ever made him. The staff had smiling faces and were very welcoming.
