So I went to the company website, figuring the ingredients would be listed there, and they were not. I should have just stopped there and moved on, but instead I called to to inquire about ingredient lists for their products. Whoever they had answering the phone, shouldn't be. He sounded like the exact opposite of someone who I would image would work at a natural/organic product company. He was very, "Whatdaya need dat for", and turned the questions to me. It went something like this: Me: Hi I am hoping you can direct me to the ingredient lists for your products on your website. O&N: It's not on our website? Me: No. I'm on your website and I don't see ingredient lists for any of your products. O&N: The ingredients aren't on the package? Me: I haven't purchased any of your products. O&N: What company are you with? Me: I'm not with a company, I am an individual consumer researching products to buy O&N: Researching for what? Me: Myself, I read ingredients before I buy and there's nothing listed on your product page. O&N: Oh, they must not be up there. Email blah-blah-blah (couldn't understand Mr. no patience, no customer service) so we can send you the ingredient list. Me: Can I get the email address from you again? O&N: You said you were on our website, didn't you!? Ok, yeah I'm done at that point. Like I said, I should have ended my search with them when they didn't feel the need to disclose any ingredient lists. For all I know they could have great products that I would love, but when you do not disclose ingredients, and make a potential customer hunt for the info and are rude to top it off...Forgetaboutit!

After a few years of sterile and bland yoga at The Y (that's not meant as a knock) it was nice to…read morejump back in the deep end at a place that's whole hog when it comes to incense burning, the trippy and atmospheric music floating through the building, and all sorts of 'new age' doohickeys decorated throughout.  (My very first class and the instructor pulled out a Shruti box to play at the very start and end of our practice... that was a first for me.) The entire biz looks great (front/store, the studio itself, the locker room in back).  It's clean and inviting and you can tell the entire staff cares about the place. I love that the class doesn't face the mirrors for class (the absolute worst) and every few feet there's the 'STUFF' bucket (napkins, tissues, cleaning solution for your mat) which is such a great 'cherry on top' that I never saw in other yoga studios I've been to. Pricing is solid (I was originally lured here through a deal over at Groupon). To date I've bounced between four different classes/levels/instructors.  Each class was unique and challenging and every teacher has been welcoming, supportive and a total pro. The studio is right by a busy intersection - metered parking on the street (I believe an hour max) and a municipal lot behind the studio (metered till 6pm, I think) for more than one hour. Even if I'm officially long in the tooth and nowadays Child's Pose and Shavasana are more my jam instead of Bhairavasana or Eka Hasta Vrksasanav - I'm just glad to have found a cool place to get on the mat and zen out for a spell.  (Will I ever advance up to their 'P3' hot yoga class?  Not even with some help from Ganapati and Hanuman!)

I have completed 3 sessions, and each time, I am amazed at how great my mind, body, and soul feels. I attended a 8:15 session, and the sweat, that you release, along with the stretching was very good for my achy body. I could not keep up with the pace as a newbie, but Mike is so kind to let you go at your own pace. I recommend bringing a beach towel to line your yoga mat because, you will slip, and slide from all the sweat you release. Also bring a gallon of water, you will need the hydration. I love at the end of class, Mike gives a cold towel that has soaked in eucalyptus. After an intense work out you feel like the angels of earth has opened up the sky's; that's really how good the cool wet towel feels. My favorite part is at the end of the class, there is a awesome meditation. I love how it clears all the unimportant stuff in your head space. I walked in with things on my mind. I walked out feeling love for humanity, peace, happiness, and more aligned with my inner true self. Sleep- Oh my, I got the best sleep of my life. I normally do magnesium flakes in a hot bath. But hot yoga gave me the best sleep of my life (I repeat) I believe in going to bed in happy, peaceful state. And this is my new go to for an intense work out, sweat out all the junk, hydrate like crazy, and sleep better than anything in this world. This is the cure for insomnia! The instructors are all well trained, friendly and challenge you to push yourself. All the classes I've taken have been really fun and I always leave feeling stronger and empowered. And can't forget about the juice bar! All their juices are made to order using fresh ingredients to aid in whatever you need (energize, detox, or recovery). Erica has created a beautiful safe space for people to deepen their yoga practice.
