Pros: The gym has a LARGE amount of amenities. There are two basketball courts (which are also used for pickleball), an indoor lap pool with hot tubs, an outdoor swimming area with slides (at an extra charge). There are classes, a ton of different machines for both cardio and lifting, and a really clean and upscale atmosphere. People tend to mind their own business and the staff have on average been helpful, at least in my experience. There is also a kids "daycare" if that's what you call it. A lot of parents will use this so they can have time to work out and actually work. There's a little area right next to the cafe that has tables and outlets. I see a lot of people with MacBooks doing work. They probably work remotely. Who knows. Cons: The price point for this gym is definitely the highest of them all coming in at $220.00 a month per person. IF you are married or you can prove cohabitation, you can add an additional person on your account for around $100 a month. This gym definitely has a crowd that is very gymcentric. This isn't a bad thing. But some people who are looking for a more chill or less intimidating atmosphere may think twice. I was one of these people until I decided to just not care. But that's easier said than done. The gym can be exceptionally crowded at peak hours. So if you plan on going daily I'd do my very best to avoid late afternoons on weekdays and nights on weekends. I was hoping the bathroom situation would be a little better but, there seems to be 2 bathrooms for ladies and men of course (from what I've seen). And with the amount of people there sometimes, it can be a little bit hectic. The locker room is fine and the showers are just average. At the price point of $220.00 I was expecting some futuristic pod shower than also does your taxes but, we all can't have what we want. The outside swimming area is an additional monthly charge, by the way. Conclusion: So take it or leave it. The price point is HIGH, but there are a lot more amenities and options for machines than any other gym out there. Is that justified? I don't really know. So three stars. Until they have a robot that does my taxes, then it might go to 4.

A regular membership is $10/month, so she's basically paying 2 memberships to be able to bring a guest. I think those prices are great, though. I don't know where to start with Giant. I love it more than the gym I belong to. There's plenty of equipment, and I never see broken machines waiting for repair. I don't think there's fans, but it does feel like there's good airflow in the cardio rooms. The treadmills charge my iPod and I can plug my headphones into the machine itself and use the dials to control my playlist. The run is smooth; I can run longer on their equipment than I can at the gym I belong to, or the treadmill at my house. There's a pretty good selection of weights as well. The gym is never very crowded, and I never have to wait long (if at all) to use equipment. I feel more comfortable working out in a less crowded environment- I feel as though I have more privacy. Honestly, I'd join Giant myself in a heartbeat if there was one in Blue Bell, PA. We seriously need better gym selections in this area of PA.

I wish this PF was my home gym to be honest. I have a black card because it's convenient. As a frequent traveler, it's hard to say where I will be from day to day. I didn't have to wait to get weights or a bench for db presses here. Everyone I met, including staff and customers, was professional and polite. The gym and locker room are clean. The equipment all works. I like the set up - some of the smaller rooms (stretching/abs, 360) were tucked away. It felt nice. Welcoming and friendly counter staff. Thank you!!

It has a very sharp bleach and ammonia scent mixed with lemon that makes it unpleasant to breathe heavy around. It feels like the solution is either mixed incorrectly or being over-applied. It's also frustrating to be forced out of gym areas during peak workout times for spraying. Management could easily fix this by using a fan to improve ventilation or shifting heavy cleaning to off-hours.

But at one point I realized I needed coaching to move to the next level so I decided to give it a try at Hygge, and it was one of the most meaningful and fantastic decisions I've ever made (no kidding). I lost 10lbs (8% of my body weight), 4.4% body fat, my arms and legs are muscular, and I saw an ab for one second before I ate some cake so I have to work on that but the whole physique thing is coming along nicely. I feel stronger than I ever have, I rehabbed a shoulder injury easily, and am more capable of carrying heavy things, lifting whatever without much effort. Training at Hygge has given me a control over my movement that I'd never experienced before. The facilities are amazing, the coaching is amazing (at all three locations) Lifting cycles are well planned, goals are measured, and you are able to track and see your progress easily. They offer a TON of classes as compared to other boxes, and the caliber of instruction and training is unmatched in my experience (I've done some drop ins, literally had a coach compliment my form AND the scale I chose as he had never considered it before -- directly stolen from what we did last week at Hygge). Your body and life will change, you will make some friends, you will all become better together and you'll feel awesome. I am a convert for life because of this gym and these coaches. If you have doubts go in. These guys care so much about what they do and you as an individual. You do not have to be fit to start. It's not a fancy place but that doesn't really matter; you're hopefully there to work out and it's perfectly fine for most people who want to work out. One thing that should be pointed out is that they recently swapped some seemingly underused equipment out for half racks. Those look to be very popular (so kudos for meeting customer's needs) but also freed up the smith machines. This makes the gym more open and leaves more racks open at a time. [Further to the gym's credit, it was not too long ago that that bought two extra smith machines to meet demand] My only real issue, as in the past, is that there is not great etiquette among some gym users. Too many people occupy benches and equipment for long periods of time while just sitting on their phones. This happens most often with the cable machines or leg sled. If I can finish three sets of two or three different exercises before you so much as reach for the bar, that's not bad behavior. There are also way too many times that someone takes dumbbells from the rack only to stand only just inches away from it, keeping anyone from getting near that part of the rack. There's no excuse for that when there are several hundred square feet of floor behind them.
