I know almost nothing about archery, so was really hoping to find someone helpful inside. Spencer is the man. Don't let the tattoo on his scalp fool you. He is a gentle soul. In a very low key way, he showed me what I needed, and even took some time to show me how to shoot. He had to order some things for my bow, said it would take a week, and sure enough a week later I got a call from him saying my bow was ready. $45 later I was good to go. NOTE: He doesn't accept credit cards. There is an ATM inside the store, though I didn't try it fearing high fees. Bring cash or your checkbook. Also, he is knowledgeable about traditional archery, but the store's inventory is largely compound bows for hunting.

The owner also has understandable knowledge of his products or of any firearm you are interested in. He teaches concealed carrier classes on the weekend. They are usually filled up, so expect to wait about a month until you get in for a class. Calling ahead to get on the list is a must. His wife does the calling to let you know when it's your turn to come into class. They are very easy to work with, so just let them know in advance which weekend works best with you when they call.
