Fast forward months: - grass is looking amazing -- thick, full, great color, filling in -- (aside from a few spots from my dog getting on it by accident) - flagstone is firm, solid and gravel in between is staying put after they sprayed sealer (well worth it) - drainage is amazing, no flooding, water runs appropriately Would happily do business with these gentleman any day of the week. We are excited to watch it all grow as the fig ivy covers our fence to create a screen of green and the carpet of Asian Jasmine fills in where before there was patchy grass and bald dirt. Miguel really listened and worked with us to do a major overhaul, putting up a back fence, installing sprinklers, improving drainage and even creating the perfect nook for our son's trampoline and finding a perfect little key lime tree for the back raised garden section. They installed a lovely drip type system in our raised bed as well. As the project took shape, Miguel was flexible and responsive and never made me feel we were asking too much or that he was eager to move on to his next project. It felt like we were his only customers! Although I know for sure this was not the case . His employees worked hard and were respectful and friendly at all times. I have had this issues once before about 8 years ago and I remembered it was an expensive repair. Well needless to say when I was told how much it would be it was less than I paid 8 years ago... Had to come back the next day to replace the part. All done very fast and very professionally. Very happy and now I have deleted my other sprinkler service and I have a new one. The landscaping was scheduled to start on Wednesday February 22, 2023. The following listed events occurred during the initial contract with Fort Bend Backyards and the owner. * We paid $1,860.00 down payment for the horrible unprofessional, unproductive, unfinished Landscape services! We are currently due a refund of $1,000.00 for work that was never started or completed. * Based on the invoice only debris removal, site preparation and some landscaping Bullrock ground preparation have been delivered and placed in the yard. * On Wednesday February 22, 2023, they showed up at 2pm without any notification. * Everyday there was always a total lack of communications to explain where the job team was and when and what services would be completed! * They left landscaping tools and supplies laying in the yard and unsecured. They have still not been picked-up the tools. * They showed up on Thursday February 23, 2023, to work after 10am without any type of notification. * Then on Thursday 23,2023,they left our job site at 4pm to respond to previous customers completed project. The explanation provided was their previous client was requesting additional services be completed! * They left a worker at the job site for 3 hours without any job duties, landscaping supplies or any instructions for working on the job. The worker sat in our lawn chair without conducting any job duties for 3 hours while on his phone, then the worker left the job site at 4pm. * The landscaping supplies for our job were not ordered and delivered to the company prior to starting the job on Wednesday February 22, 2023. * There were other job duties, irrigation repairs, grass sod and plenty of debris removal and site preparations that could have been conducted during the day even thought other supplies had not arrived to complete any progress on the job. * I have pictures of the uncompleted work in our back yard. * On Friday February 24, 2023, We were told the anticipated time of arrive for starting the job was delayed until 2pm based on supplies needed to make any progress on the job. As of 5:00pm we had not seen the company or received any form of customer communications. We texted and called the owner Mr. Crenshaw to obtain job status information. * Again, on Saturday February 25,2023 and Monday February 27, 2023, we attempted to contact the company and owner Mr. Crenshaw. * We have never received any type of response. The company again was a NO CALL NO SHOW to complete any work! * The company did not show up or communicate in any form with us! This company is totally unprofessional or productive with providing any positive Landscaping Services!!!!

I hired Mike to maintain my yard in July last summer. The agreement was his crew would mow with a…read moreself propelled mower. I observed his crew on camera mowing on a riding mower after attempting to cut with a push mower on very low (twice). Not only was my yard scalped during the hottest time of the summer, the crew damaged my irrigation system. I asked Mike to come and repair the system, but that never happened. I always paid in advance and because I had a $40 credit I asked him to just fix the irrigation system and have his crew skip the last cut and just trim the hedges and clean the flowerbeds. I have yet to see or hear from Mike since. I consider the $40 for him to keep it as a Blessing since he introduced himself to me as a Christian. So he can pass the $40 that I paid him for no service to someone else or keep it for himself.
