Mark Corley, the landscape designer, patiently walked my yard with me and closely listened to my ideas and long-term goals for my landscaping. Out of town and unable to be there for the majority of the work, Mark kindly (and daily!) texted me videos with commentary on each day's progress. He was very responsive to questions/concerns and quickly addressed them. Both Hector's and Marcos' crews were considerate, courteous, and hardworking, and left my yard in good order every day after their work was completed. I added a bit of landscape lighting at the end, and I am very pleased with the added aesthetic appeal and security. Once the job was finished, I noticed a few issues of concern and Mark promptly had someone out troubleshooting/repairing/replacing what was needed. Laird Landscaping re-designed and re-built the front walk, back patio, and all associated front and back landscaping for our home in the Katy area. They do exceptional work, and we have been extremely pleased with the results. They listen to what you want, develop the design for your review, and then implement it. They also communicate in advance when they expect to start and the property access they will need. We think of them more as craftsmen than as landscapers. They fully understand that, during the course of their work, they may interfere with the homeowner's daily home access. So at the end of each day, everything is cleaned up as much as practical and possible. And at the end of the job, the entire area is fully cleaned up, as if they were never there. We started using Laird Landscaping 18 years ago for our previous home. Vince transformed both the front and back yards. When we moved to our current home 12 years ago, Vince had wonderful ideas that, once again, transformed the current front and back yards from plain to beautiful. The backyard in our current home had poor drainage. Rainwater would sit in deep puddles and kill the grass. Vince installed a drainage system that resolved the issue. We have never had standing water since. His crew always shows up on time and cleans up every time during these 18 years. Laird Landscaping was excellent to work with on my front yard landscaping project. Mark came out and discussed what my expectations were and when the project was completed - it was far better than I expected. They did the landscaping, lightning and worked on the sprinkler system. Laird recently redid the land and hard scaping around our entire house after the winter freeze killed about 30 of our bushes. We wanted to simplify the design and reduce the amount of bush trimming required each month. We found working with Mark very easy. He developed the initial design and he worked with us on plant selection and the few changes we wanted to make. The finished product is absolutely amazing. Mark checked in every morning with us and the crew lead by Federico did and an amazing job. Trey and his work crew led by Jose were extremely hard workers, cleaned up every night before leaving, and made sure everything was done the right way.
