I've never felt compelled to leave a review, especially a bad one. But man, oh man. I just got home after eating there with my fiance for a quick lunch. Every employee, whether clocked in or out, was in front of the television, and our waitress was not very pleased to have to work. She barely said anything to us at all, didn't even feign a smile, and avoided us at all cost. I ordered wonton soup and chow foon noodles, and fiance ordered edamame and a spider roll. The wontons in the soup has (literally) a quarter ounce of meat in each of the two, and the main course had not the slightest hint of flavor. I told the waitress and she went to the owner by the television, had a loud back and forth, and he came to the table. He proceeded to tell me that, paraphrasing for time, I didnt know how to taste it because I'm white. I told him it tasted like I was eating water. I also tried to let him know that I'm a chef, and consider my palate pretty well advanced. The edamame was undercooked as well, and my Sprite was filled with water halfway through the glass. Stopped in for the lunch buffet and it was great. Not a huge buffet like you see at the chain chinese buffets but the food is much better here. Limited sushi selections. What they did have was fresh. The lunch buffet was not inspiring and we prefer Sushi to Chinese anyway. Service is spotty but generally good. I just left this restaurant and wasn't very impressed. I was sat and then had to flag a waiter down just so I could order after 10 mins. I ordered a lunch special and the rice was dry and bland. Visiting Plymouth New Hampshire and this was the closest Chinese restaurant where we were staying. The rudest staff I've ever encountered at a restaurant, yelled from the other end of the dining room to sit down and pointed to a table, we had never been here before so we didn't know there was a buffet they didn't say anything to us so we sat at the table for like 5 minutes until we asked if we could have a menu. Ended up getting the buffet which was the smallest buffet I've ever seen, literally one row of food and when we got up a second time there was almost nothing left because they hadn't refilled anything. When we paid our bill the waitress shorted us one dollar which normally I wouldn't care but the service was so bad I didn't intend on leaving a tip so we called her over and before we could say anything she pulled a dollar bill out and gave it back to us which means she intentionally kept it. Food was mediocre but the service was the worst and I recommend you stay far away from this restaurant! read more

Sub par food and absolutely horrible service! They waitress was extremely rude and when we asked for drinks just kind of stared at us for a minuet like we were complete idiots before going off and getting them. The worst part was the faces and rude remarks towards my child. He had made a mess like normal two year olds do. I can understand that it might be annoying to see a child making a mess in your restaurant, but I cleaned up a majority of the mess like I always do when I take him out to eat. We have been good customers of theirs for about 4 years. Last week they messed up our order. We didn't notice the mix up until we got home which is about 20 minutes away. We called to let them know about it in hopes they would come make things right. Instead we got very little sympathy on the phone and were told to come back and they would switch it for us. We were obviously not in the mood to make the 40 minute round trip drive so they took our name and number and said to come back and we could get what we ordered another time. A week later we called to do this and they said no one had taken our name and number(not our fault) so they cannot do anything for us. He pretty much called us liars and there is nothing he can do. Needless to say they lost very good customers over a $10.00 beef and vegetable plate. This is exactly how NOT to treat your valued customers. They will never get a dime from me again! read more

My husband and I had always enjoyed the food here. It wasn't anything overly amazing, but never disappointed. However, the service we received one evening left us so unhappy we have not been back since. We ordered our meal, picked it up and drove 20 mins home only to realize the order was definitely not ours. When we called Fugaki, the girl on the phone didn't even apologize, just said "oh. okay." She wanted us to drive back and pick up our order, but at that point we were so irritated we just had something else for dinner. The girl did say she would give us a gift certificate for our next order, and my husband left his name and number. The next week we decided to give it another try, but when we called the manager said they had no record of a gift certificate. He then asked us to describe the girl we had picked up our order from, and then said no one like that worked there. Absolutely lying! Was at Fugaky's today for lunch with a friend. Walking in we had to wait while the hostess (I'm guessing) was on the phone and another employee was busy with something else. She motioned us where the tables were and to pick an open one. I thought this was weird and completely unprofessional considering we are now seating ourselves and she couldn't be bother to get another worker out here to assist us. After sitting down we went to the buffet were we found sub par food. The shushi barely stays together when eating and found it to be very 'chewy' and not well prepared. The rice at parts was over cooked and they lacked a lot of options. As well as the salt and pepper chicken tasted as though someone poured an entire bag of salt on them when preparing. Our waitress didn't come over at all during our stay other than to give us two waters at the beginning. Overall the Food is meh and not worth going to honestly. If you want lousy cheap food with bad service you're better off buying a sandwich at your local gas station. read more

Food is really good, service needs to be improved a great deal. It was my first time there and I certainly was not impressed.

I have only been there once, but don't think I will return. My large group went to try their lunch buffet. I took a look at the lunch buffet and found it greasy, with brown sauce on too many things and by the time we got to it, overcooked from sitting in the warming dishes. I ordered a la carte instead, asking for a cup of hot and sour soup, a cup of rice (I forget whether they didn't have brown rice) and a simple vegetarian sauteed broccoli. The hot and sour soup was salty. There was not much flavor to the broccoli which is disappointing because Asian cuisines have some really good vegetarian dishes. Also, there were carrots with the broccoli in this standard zigzag industrial prepared food shape, if you know what I mean. This makes me think, a lot of the food they serve comes from a large food supplier that has everything pre-cut and pre-seasoned. That doesn't give me confidence in the quality of the ingredients - that maybe they come from the industrialized farming system. I haven't gone back nor did I try another dish while I was there, so there's little chance I can give a better review. read more

I went there when I revisited Plymouth State with my girlfriends. It was a Saturday night of Halloween weekend and there was literally no one there except the employees. Everything was great until I ordered the orange beef. It tasted like fish as if the meat was cooked in fish sauce or combined with some kind of seafood. Not what you are supposed to taste in orange beef. I told the waiter that it was awful and what was wrong with it. I very simply said that I wasn't going to eat it, therefore I wasn't going to pay for it. He looked scared and didn't offer me anything. He immediately said he would send the manager over to the table. The manager came over and didn't say anything to me so I started to tell him what was wrong with the orange beef. He began to argue with me and told me I didn't know what I was talking about and demanded that I pay for it. My friends and I were appalled. I have never heard of anyone owning a business and then not even trying to find out if the customer was right. Why he didn't ask the chef how it was cooked or attempt to taste it himself is beyond me. I will never ever go back to this place and give them a cent of my money again. IF I COULD GIVE THEM A 0 I WOULD!! So I went out to dinner to night. (they never asked if I wanted my water glass filled again.. Never asked if dinner was good or if we needed anything else, When we were done we asked to get the rest to go, well the girl came over with to go boxes, AND DIDNT put the food in for us) NOW I don't know about you but every time I go to a Chinese place they put it in a to go container and then a bag. But all that I can get over, what happen next really pissed me off. When we went to leave the girl never came back to the table to get the check, so I went to the front and payed. Went we where about to leave the owner, THE OWNER asked why we didn't tip and I told him, the reasons. And he stared to beg for more money say "Well what was wrong with it" and again I told him "nothing was wrong with the food just the waiter" and he just continue to argue with me as to why I didn't tip. Then he said to me "well then don't come back." I told him don't worry I won't come back to a place that doesn't treat your costumers good, and a place where you beg for money!! What a scumbag!! FIRST THINGS FRIST!! You don't beg for a tip! You have a set price and we pay it, the tip is something a little extra for you if your a good server, A TIP IS NOT REQUIRED!! (It is however a nice gesture) If half of us did what this guy did we won't have jobs(I know if I told someone not to come back because they happen to not tip me I wouldn't be where I am today!!) I do not have any idea why this place got good reviews. Apparently they were written either by the owners or people who do not get out much. The lunch buffet is a joke, absolutely horrible and mostly fried foods and pork. Egg rolls disgusting and sushi, really do not know how they can call that sushi. Nastiness covered in a mayo sauce. Save your time and health and go somewhere better which is anywhere. Would have given one star except the tea was good. read more

If you have a baby or a toddler, you'll get the stink eye from the waitresses the entire time, that being during the lunch day/week day hours. Forget any smiles, any assistance or anything. The service was %#^*€¥ awful! The food wasn't that good anyway. The horrid looks from the waitresses and their talking under their breath negatively about my child (yes, the two waitresses) was disturbing that we ended up just leaving and not wasting our time finishing the "delicious" meal. I will never return to this establishment and warn any family of going to this rude, horrific and unkind place. My child was well behaved, maybe 16 months max, so if baby drops some food on the floor, oh well. It's bound to happen. But to give nasty looks, make mean sounds and snare towards us, speak awful about us or my child, unacceptable! We were told that Fugaky was place to go. I would re-name it Fuyucky. My daughter's boyfriend ordered the sweet & sour soup which was lukewarm. My son ordered sushi & said it was 'nothing to write home about'. The chicken in my husbands lo mien was cold and the pad Thai was just bland. I've eaten here a few times and would say the food is good. Each time I have been here I have had the same waitress who has the personality of a dish rag and gives dirty looks the whole entire time. I was with another person and we wanted to split the food to take home so she gave us two boxes. I asked her for a third box to put the rice in and she stood there and gave me a glaring look. You would of thought I just asked her to perform a monumental task. Seriously??? I'm not overly impressed with her service and this will ultimately be their demise. read more

We got our beverages then she finally came back to take our order The food came out in a timely manner and was hot and yummy! However, our waitress never came back to check on us and was sitting down at a table in the back using her CELL PHONE! While I sat there wanting a glass of water. She came back when I got up to use the ladies room to clear the dishes. I felt that we were bothering her and the table behind us had to get up and go ask for soy sauce! Food was great, nice crab rangoons, great beef and pea pods, subgum pork fried rice is full of everything. The service was the worst that I have ever had. We sat at the bar and had "Henry". He handed the menus to my boyfriend instead of placing them in front of both of us. Came half way down the bar to take our drink orders, took our order for food and stood down the other end of the bar while taking it. I asked for soy sauce and duck sauce ahead of time because I was told by someone else that they don't bring it automatically. My boyfriend ordered another beer and never received it. He had to chase him down for the bill and we never received our fortune cookies. My family took me to this restaurant on a visit to Plymouth and I had to comment. It was really delicious! Not only did I have my own chicken but I sampled everyone else's and they were all great. Excellent Chinese food. Best in the area. The menu is diverse and take out is fast. My only complaint is that they tend not to give you enough duck sauce. Fugaky is the bomb!!!!! We are locals, and this place is awesome! The staff, including Alan, the owner are friendly, informative and always pleasant. The service is fast, the food is HOT and delicious. Consistently awesome.!!! The sushi is fab, the buffet is always stocked and fresh and hot. The portions from the menu is large, and everyone always takes home a box of leftovers. The pad thai noodle is awesome! Abel our waiter several times made recommendations of the shanghi crisp noodle, and it wasn't a disappointment to say the least. It was awesome, cooked as we wanted and loaded with meats and chicken. More than one person could certainly eat. . The boneless ribs are the best we've ever had, and we've had San fran and boston Chinese food, and this tops them. The egg plant dishes are fresh and so delicate with spice and delicious. Portions have never been average, always more than one portion is The interior is always clean and neat and elegant.
