Happy Family and general Gaos lunch special (on fork and in background)

Great food with large portions. We tried the House Rice, General Gaos, the crab rangoons, and pork fired rice. All have been consistently great. They also had our food out in probably 10 minutes. Will be returning again soon!

Tentative staff, food delivered fast. Pad Thai was good, Udon noodle dish was under par. Great for big groups. Sushi was good.

The sushi is good. The pad thai is ... meh. The service is eager, and the drinks are fair. They do large groups and functions well, though.

The food was great, but the buffet is very limited.. I would eat there again when in the area.

Food is really good, service needs to be improved a great deal. It was my first time there and I certainly was not impressed.

It's the perfect stop about two hours into our three-hour drive from Massachusetts to our mountain home. The Korean Beef is outstanding (we ordered it spicy and highly recommend it). Don't let the simple appearance fool you....this place delivers seriously delicious food. We'll absolutely keep stopping every time we're passing through.

What we got: * Pork dumplings (3/5): The menu advertised these as large but they were actually pretty small. You do get eight of them though. The dipping sauce was a bit disappointing tasted like bottle sweet and sour sauce but the dumplings themselves had good flavor. * Pad kra pow with ground pork (4/5): My first bite was a letdown. Once I added some prik nam pla it fixed the dish and kicked the flavor up a lot. I would definitely come back to try the lunch specials they serve Tuesday through Friday. Bathroom Review: Single stall setup. Clean enough. They stock real paper towels not those weak air dryers.

Apparently out of food that other people I witnessed already had ordered... they drove there just to find out they were out... saw one employee VAPING INSIDE of the establishment which was already enough for me to question a lot... very uncomfortable environment waiting to pick up food.. will review food if and when we receive it. Ordered our food Over an hour ago at about 4:10 , I understand NYE is usually busy, but no one's even here waiting for their food after previous guy cancelled order due to the hat they ordered being "out" . People have come in waves for their food who seemed just as much frustrated and surprised at the price for the total. It's now been an hour and a half - we were told to pick up at 5pm **update** Food was fairly good / decent, will bring up stars to reflect

As soon as we walked in, this super friendly guy greeted us and took our order--really welcoming vibe right from the start. I got the "O" dinner plate with Gao's chicken, and wow, the chicken was cooked perfectly--crispy on the outside, juicy inside, just how it should be. The fried rice was good too--not dry at all, and the pork in it had great flavor and texture. I also had crab rangoons that came with it, and they were spot-on: crunchy, creamy, everything you want in a rangoon. The environment was clean, with decent lighting. I will very much be coming back here. The food was worth the 15 minute wait and I'd highly recommend coming to sit down and eating here verse doing take out if you have the time!

The chicken was very moist and marinated just the amount of time to not make the curry too overpowering. The noodles were firm but not rubbery. Very friendly service and restaurant seems to have updated their decor in the past few months!…read more Menu is very varied and creative. Everything is so fresh! We had the eggrolls and duck rangoons as appetizers and this was perfect. Boyfriend rates the eggrolls as 2nd best he's ever had (after 123Dzo!). He also had his usual chicken teriyaki, loved it. Says the sauce is perfect, and he loves the sticky rice you can order on the side. We shared some salmon nigiri and I also ordered the orange blossom maki. Now - I'm not a fan of "spicy-hot" anything - I never use hot sauce, chili flakes etc - but I always order sushi rolls with "spicy" in the name such as spicy salmon, etc and it's *never* spicy hot to the point I can't eat it - but I've had this issue here in the past, and I should have remembered. Depending on your tolerance level for hotness... you might want to keep it in mind - both the spicy salmon filling AND the spicy mayo on top of the Orange Blossom are *very hot*. To the point I could only eat a couple of pieces. I would avoid rolls with "spicy" in the description, or ask if they can make it not hot next time. Other than that, food is perfect here. Bit of a lack of atmosphere - it's kid-friendly, too bright lights and no music but super noisy. But we will return!

When we arrived, there was a large bus with tourists that had just arrived so we opted to eat in the bar area versus eating outdoors. Our waitress (Trisha) was one of two bar tenders covering a bar that sat about 12 patrons plus about 6 other tables, She took our orders and then was tied up trying to assist others. We only saw her again when she asked if we desired dessert. My Pasta Fattoria had chicken, spinach, bacon , sun-dried tomatoes, garlic and was very enjoyable. My wife had the steak tips. I could not finish mine so I have lunch for another day. Overall, a nice meal and given the circumstances, Covered Bridge covered most needs.
