Called on a Saturday morning and the guy on call returned my call within minutes. He suggested that what I thought was a leaky overhead pipe might be condensation from my AC. Instructing me to turn off the water supply, we eliminated the leaky pipe theory. While he was busy on a call up in Dobbins, I flushed the AC drain pipe and cleaned the pan. Called Plumbing Dr to fix a leaky shower. (Mike) the technician came out, nice guy very courteous. Diagnosed the leak, said it was $450 for labor, $1000 for the part. Said it's urgent, as he would be leaving town the next week. I said I'd let him know. He then texted and called multiple times, selling urgency, etc. Anyways, I called another local plumber. They diagnosed the shower, completely different issue. Was a $350 repair, and barely took 40 minutes. I've used this company twice. The first time, the guy admitted that my plumbing problem was too severe for them to fix and that we needed to call another company that could repair old pipes in our concrete foundation. (It needed jackhammers and retrofit -- they couldn't do that type of work). At least he was honest about that. The second time I called them (last month) I had a problem with the garbage disposal spitting up water at me. The Plumber Doctor guy came out to my house and was really rude. Maybe he was just having a bad day I don't know. He took apart the "elbow" of a pipe under the sink and found it was clogged. So he wiped it out and put it back in place. He said it was fixed and I paid him. He was so rude and acted like this was a waste of his time. The next day, the garbage disposal started spitting up at me again ....... read more

Plumbing doctor did a job for me thru a business that used be in the area called STOP service team of professionals. The job was completed before I was presented an estimate for the job. The price presented by Plumbing doctor was reasonable and that job went fine. Never to be repeated. I have called them a few times since but can't get past the rediculus prices. ,$700.00 bid to hook up a drain on new construction kitchen sink is crazy. Steer clear of this business. Needed someone to come fix a clogged pipe and they gave a window of time the service provider would arrive. The service provider showed up early unannounced but I was not home because it wasn't in the window and I couldn't just sit around waiting when I thought they where showing up later. When calling back to see when the provider would come back or in the window was told that now they are busy and that I couldn't have service for 3 days because of the weekend. When I opened the door, I was surprised to find a woman (Jessica) who introduced herself and then her male companion (Mateo). When I showed her the problem, she crawled under the kitchen sink, checked, took some pictures, diagnosed the problem. After going for the required parts, the two quickly returned and Jessica installed the parts to end the leak, again taking a picture to demonstrate the repair. When I asked about another plumbing task, Jessica described how I could do it myself. Jessica was enthusiastic about her work and clearly enjoyed the opportunity to share with me how I could do something as well. It was refreshing to encounter a woman doing a job traditionally held by men. I hope seeing Jessica will encourage other women and girls to consider non-traditional occupations. We called on a Saturday for an emergency plumbing issue. A worker responded and attempted to diagnose and fix the problem. Unfortunately, he filled in the ditch with dirt before flushing the main line..... he had not fixed the problem as he thought and sediment got into my pipes throughout the house. Come to find out he was a new guy. The owner was called and tried to fix the mess. 7 days and nights into this "job" I finally asked them to leave. Enough was enough. Their next plan of action was to cut into my walls and begin cutting or taking apart the plumbing pipes. I had 2 workers in my home for 7 days straight until as late as 8 o'clock at night tracking mud into all 3 of my bathrooms. It was a really bad experience and my water flow in all my showers and bathtubs are still affected by this. read more

Ron personally came to our home and made sure that the job was done right. We had a continuing problem with water backing up during the rinse cycle of our washing machine that it became a big hassle because I had to do a lot of monitoring while I did laundry, we even bought a new washer thinking that the old one was causing the back up that regularly flooded our laundry room.
