Let me start this review by noting that I spent my entire 45 year career as an executive in the manufacturing of major plumbing products in the US and around the world (Hoyt Water Heater, MASCO - Delta Faucet/Brass Craft, Fluidmaster and Globe Union/Gerber to name a few). My hot water heater stopped working and I contacted Earl's plumbing. I was quite impressed with the customer service over the phone provided by Steve, and schedule an appointment for this morning.. I received a phone call letting me know that Stefan was on his way along with the text message. When Stefan arrived, I let him know that I felt it might have been the thermocoupler that has failed. He looked at my water heater and said this is an old water heater and did not think he would be able to get parts. He took pictures of the water heater. I then asked him, if he was going to look at it and he let me know that he could but there was no reason to. This was in fact with some of the worst customer service I've ever received, if I need a new hot water heater, I understand that but at least take the time to do the diagnosis.. I asked him to leave. I did contact the main office and again great customer service from Steve. They did offer to send someone else out, but at this point, I'm not sure I trust the situation. My recommendation would be to at least take a look and try to diagnose something before saying it needs to be replaced. read more

The staff is top notch. We had a water issue with our well and they came right out. The receptionist was great they answered our questions and dispatched a plumber to our location in less than an hr. Ryan explained the issues and executed the plan flawlessly. We did have an issue that was not their fault at all and performed a callback at no extra charge. We are out in the Cutts so this is above and beyond service in my book. The second technician was Cody and he also was stellar. Came on time and explained the situation quickly and fixed us right up. I had Earls come out to my home for a gas leak. I paid a $491 INSPECTION fee, so they could find the leak. They never went under the house as they said it wasn't necessary. He quoted us almost $5000 to do a work around/bypass set up because they could not locate the leak. He even cut a hole in my ceiling. We said we would talk about it and call them back. We had another company come out and they immediately went under my house and found a MASSIVE leak, in two separate spots. The couplings were so corroded that when sprayed with soapy water, it bubbled like a bubble bath!!!! They were able to fix the leak THAT NIGHT! Wouldn't recommend and I will be asking for a refund of my "inspection" fee!!!!! And the review I gave them after they left was because I knew NONE of the above, until the next plumber came to my home!!!!! read more

From the beginning of the service starting with the dispatcher named Josh, to the end of all the work, it's been a fantastic experience as a tenant. Stefan was the technician who did all the work swiftly. He was respectful, courteous, and didn't mind answering my questions. The tech arrived when promised, identified the issue quickly, and fixed it in no time! They can rip me off once but not twice. I would never call them again. I'm new to the area and I don't have experience with the local contractors. I paid a hefty price to learn that this is not the company to do business with. I told the guy the symptoms. I let him do his thing. I didn't tell him what to do. He proceeded to go down the wrong path and charged me for his mistake even though I specifically told him if it's flushing, it can't be clogged. (Red flag and had me nervous. Probably should have sent him home at this point) He wanted to snake it just in case. So he snaked it to no avail. He charged me anyway. He finally decided to correctly fix the issue and charged me again. I paid him again and that's the last time. read more

I called Earl's to have someone come and look at water that was found underneath flooring that was being taken out of a bedroom. I called on a Wednesday and was scheduled for a Friday, however, there was a cancellation and I was able to have a tech here on Thursday. Jose came out and was so professional and really listened to everything I explained to him. He did a thorough inspection and we came to the conclusion that the water must be coming from the bathroom that shares a wall with the bedroom where the water was found. I mentioned a couple of other plumbing needs I will need in the future and Jose assured that Earl's could handle it.
