DONT SHOP HERE, GO TO LUCKY ME LIQUORS 3 BLOCKS AWAY. ITS $3-5 CHEAPER PER ITEM AND THEY ARNT RUDE. I live in the neighborhood behind this store, I stoped in while walking my dog with my wife for a bottle of wine. While I was at the counter my wife was walking around the store as we haven't been in since that remodeled. The guy at the counter asked for my ID, I showed him I'm 42 years old. He then asked for my wife's ID which she didn't bring because we were just blocks from home, she's 38 and looks it. He then proceeded to give me a lecture about how he can't sell me wine because she didn't have ID, even though she never even came up to the counter. I get it, technically that's illegal I guess, but pick your battles, we clearly don't look 20 and now we will never be back. read more

Best liquor store on this side of town. Everyone that works there is super nice, including the owner. They have a HUGE selection of single beers to make your own sixer in the cooler in the back. For those N/A beer drinkers, they only have O' Douls. They have great availability of micro brews from Colorado and beyond. They also rock a pretty competent wine and liquor selection. Prices even compete with Liquor Barn for a lot of their stuff. -30 pacs are right around 20 bucks. - Sixers of micro's are right around 9 bucks. More parking in the back when the Ale House gets crazy. They are open early-late and stay open on most holidays! read more

This place is my new go-to. After seeing a 1-star review saying that this business actually follows the mask mandate i knew i had to check it out. If you're looking for a calm, chill, and fair-priced business that respects and follows a mandate keeping our community safe this is your place. But if you want to get COVID along with your alcohol i recommend Fisher's Liquor Barn, there are always big crowds and cashiers refuse to wear of enforce masks. read more

Whoa, pretty cool liquor store! They had a very extensive amount of beers and wines, with a good amount of liquor to choose from. Plus, I like the walk-in where you can pick out singles of certain beers. The reason for the missing star? They had some beer on the sales floor that had a significant amount of dust build-up...and it wasn't cheap either. I'm not saying you should dust everyday/week/month, but if you have merchandise on the floor and you want it to move, regular pricing with dust build-up will not help you. read more

Who ever is in charge of ordering beer here knows their shit. They have an absolutely amazing collection of beer, american and foreign. They stock very many of the reputable breweries in the craft beer world. The selection is constantly rotating: I am always pleasantly surprised to find that one special release I've been hearing about on their shelves. I have not bought hard liquor from here but was told by a friend that it was expensive. I can't vouch for this though, I only come here for the beer cooler. read more

Hey, to any women out there that would like a little ego boost. College Liquors has instituted a new policy of "carding" everyone. While I've been told I look young for my age (67) it has been more than a few years since I was asked for my ID. I guess it's just another level of stupidity where you don't have to use your brain or common sense to judge age. Other than that the store is great. They have a great selection of single bottles of micro brew beers behind the coolers. Great place to look for something new and not have to buy a 6-pack and find out you don't like it. read more

First off, my wife and I have frequented College Liquors for years, through staff changes and change of management. Most of them are super nice and go out of their way to find something for you. But this evening, September 30, 2017 at about 5pm, this one olderish gentleman that was working, I asked him if he had a particular type of beer, all that he said was "NO!" and walked past me doing whatever he was doing. So I took the hint and promptly left and went not far down the street to County Club Liquors, which has the same prices and nicer staff. Unfortunately my wife and I will not be back to College Liquors any time soon. read more
