Joe was the one who helped us and explained each jet ski that we were interested in. He was very nice to work with and got us all set up with everything that we needed. We went back less than a week later and started the buying process. We got a jet ski and trailer, life jackets and some cool extras and it was an enjoyable process. We worked with Taylor and another lady (I wish I knew her name - she was so great and funny) with the signing contracts and getting all of the paperwork done. They explained everything very well and took about 10 minutes. Overall - my boyfriend and I highly recommend Jim's Anchorage. They have everything and anything that you would need. We will definitely be going back there while we take our camping trips to Seven Points and Lake Raystown!

The place up the street where I just bought the boat let me leave for a two hour drive back to Maryland with no trailer lights or safety chains connected or any basic advice on trailering the boat (like not being able to back up the trailer without a pin to lock the brake actuator- who knew?). The man who helped me at Shy Beaver knew. He was extremely nice and patient with me. He taught me a lot and I think he genuinely wanted to see me leave there safe. After getting my chains hooked up He even pieced my wiring together so it worked. He wouldn't even let me pay him. I really owe him more than I can write here. Went to pick up the title for my boat trailer, the notary was late, Andy literally ran down the road to get the notary signature so I could get to the motor vehicle administration, in Frederick, on time! 2. My boat conked out in the middle of Lake Marburg. I called F&S and they talked me through troubleshooting the motor. That didn't work so Bob came out, hooked up my boat to his boat, towed me to shore, put my boat on my trailer, called his staff too alert them of me coming in for emergency service, pulled in the lot and before I could even get out of the car people were on the back of the boat trying to fix it. 3. Many times I have asked if I needed something that was suggested that I should purchase. Bob has said that I can sell you that but you don't need it! THEY ARE HONEST PEOPLE!!! 4. You are a person to them not a number. They take the time to get to know you!

I recently drove six hours from home and bought a used Tracker Targa from F&S. When I got home and…read moretook it out on the lake a few days later I discovered it was taking on water and I couldn't locate the source. I called F&S and talked to Bud and Andy. Andy assured me they would take care of the problem. Told me I could bring it back to them or have it serviced locally and send them the bill. That offer alone set them way above most competitors. I took it back to them, they started on it immediately, didn't put me off at all. It took approximately 12 hours of shop work to find the issues and repair them. After the repair work was finished, the owner Bob, took me out on a local lake and went over all the repair work and functional issues. They even repaired wiring issues the previous owner had did and returned the electrical components back to factory condition as well as properly wiring the accessories the previous owner installed. To top it off they gave me a free Hummingbird fish finder for the inconvenience. This crew is top shelf, I've never experienced this kind of after the sale service. I strongly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to drive that distance to buy a boat from them. Outstanding team! Also, I forget the mechanics name, didn't get to talk to him much. There were four of us and the boat "The Raystowner" had two decks on either end, inside and outside dining tables, a large gas grill that was immaculately clean, a refrigerator, microwave, stove, freezer, couch and recliner. Off the deck, which had a 4-person hot tub, was a sliding board. There were four high end pool recliners on top, too. The top deck was accessible from spiral stairs on one side and traditional stairs on the other. Sleeping for 8 and fully air conditioned - with the option for open windows. Bathroom was very roomy with a full sized shower stall. The staff on check-in was on point, while being relaxed and engaging. They have large rolling bins to get your luggage and food moved quickly and safely. There is a walk through at the beginning and the end, both very efficient and friendly. Paperwork was in order and there were no delays. Swimming in the Lake was a 4+ hour a day activity. We moved from cove to cove and enjoyed the vistas offered by the very interesting shoreline. I logged some serious reading time, the others logged some fishing time. We enjoyed the hot tub each night, reminding each other of the details of ANOTHER PERFECT DAY. We all agree - we'd do this again in a minute... or as soon as the piggy bank swells.
