Plus, Sweet Land acts as a stop for other CSA producers (chicken, eggs, pork, apples,maple syrup) so your trips to the grocery store become more focused and limited. I was a member of their CSA for one year, but disliked the fact that they had no convenient pickup…read morelocations for people who lived up the hill in college town. They claim they have been trying to get a collegetown pickup location for years, but I really have a hard time believing this as Full Plate had no problem securing one at Stewart Ave. and Buffalo St. The vegetables are fresh and relatively inexpensive compared to other CSA's. Unfortunately, the hills in Ithaca make the pickup locations inconvenient for people who don't have a car and live up the hill.

I expect bread at a farmers market to be freshly made. I shouldn't have to put my glasses on to read dates. Very disappointed
