It's $10 to pick a small bag or $25 for a large bag (my group got about 70 small apples in the large bag). After picking, they have a large selection of ciders, pies, danishes, honey, and more delicious treats to take home. It was pretty busy on a Friday and worth the trip for the cider itself!! I heard Lakeland orchard charges you $20 just for admission fee per person so this is a little cheaper and quieter experience!

There is also a half sandwich and soup option. We ordered a cheese steak and their signature apple ham and melted swiss cheese sandwich. The sandwiches were amazing due to their breads being freshly made there - super soft!Only come if you are not in a rush though as we waited awhile before they took our orders and us receiving the food. If we had a smaller group of 2 or 4 we could have sat at a table by their deck overlooking the scenic farm. I highly recommend families with children come here as they had various activities set up near the restaurant including a small haunted barn which was pretty spooky inside, a mining for gem activity ($5), corn maze ($5), petting zoo where you can buy pellets to feed the goats, and an indoor slide. We then drove up the hill where you can park near the entrance for apple picking. When I went, they had about 7 apple varieties. Although they didn't have the varieties that I'm used to seeing like Fuji and Asian pears, their prices are very reasonable. We only paid $5 for 8 apples! Before leaving, we also picked up a dozen apple donuts and half gallon of very sweet apple cider.

Great place to pick blueberries. When you first arrive, stop into the main building and say hello-…read morethey'll give you a bucket or two. From there, you can either walk across the street to the blueberry fields- or if it's wet (as it was when we were there), you can drive over to the back of the field where the blueberry plants are. This is a "you pick" operation, pick as few or as many as you want and out them in your bucket. When you're done picking, head back to where you picked up the bucket and they'll weigh them. When I was there it was $2 per pound- and my mostly full bucket came out to just under $10. They also have a few other blueberry-related and locally made goods for sale: we picked up the bourbon barrel aged maple syrup which I'm looking forward to trying. One note, it's cash only. And I couldn't tell You where the nearest ATM is, so best bring some cash with you.

The trees are low enough not to require ladders so they're kid friendly (and for those of us who are fun-sized). The orchard offered a beautiful view of the hills in the background covered in fall trees when I went in early October. There was also a little pumpkin patch that was perfect for pictures! Many people visit Fly Creek Cider Mill and Orchard but you don't get the same experience since you don't get to pick the apples right off the trees. However, we did visit Fly Creek (which is a fun experience too!) the next day and I thought that the apple cider doughnuts from here were much better - they were softer and denser! I also compared it to some doughnuts that my cousin bought from another orchard in PA and Middlefield's still comes up on top! I definitely recommend here for your traditional fall apple-picking/apple cider doughnut-eating/pumpkin-picking experience! There weren't much people when we went so there were many opportunities for uninterrupted photos as well!

The food vendors are also awesome - one of them makes the best sausage, egg, and cheese sandwiches. And this is coming from someone who's been to all the delis in NYC :) The market is open every Saturday during the summer from 9 to 1PM. It's an amazing place to hang out in, especially because it's full of amazing people. You will see a plethora of dogs, too, since a lot of dog owners like to walk their dogs in the morning!
