UPDATE: I drove by at 3 PM today and the neon OPEN sign was on. So I drove in to find a hand written sign taped to the booth: "We're sorry but we had to close early due to a power outage and We Energies cannot get to us until tomorrow." Now, go back and re-read what I wrote. If you're going to claim the reason you're closed is due to a power outage, have the brains to turn off the open sign--which is powered by electricity. I bought the monthly subscription and go a few times per month. After a snowfall when you need to get salt off your car is when you need a car wash the most. That is when this place chooses to close, and it's always some excuse that doesn't add up. I'm not talking about closing due to a blizzard--that would be common sense, and certainly understandable. The day after snowfall when the streets are plowed and it's sunny does not qualify as a "snowstorm." Others pulled in behind me, expecting the car wash to be open--PER THE SIGN! This place is not where you want to go for a carwash. When I went to pay they told me $12 and I said I had thought that the price was $7 so they charged me $8.50 . What? Was that some arbitrary number they picked out of a hat? Then when I got home I saw that there was still gunk on my car. Not just a little missed spot, actual large pieces of stuck on dirt. Several years ago this used to be a real full service car wash. They had someone to scrub bugs and pre-spray, someone to drive your car in and a team to vacuum, hand dry and window clean at the end. They did an excellent job for a reasonable prince. Now they're fully automated with machines that don't do a thorough job and at a sky-high price for what you're getting. To make matters worse, they aren't thorough with their remaining "by hand" services. And they prefer you to do a monthly subscription instead of doing a great job one wash at a time. I finally gave up on getting a quality wash and vacuum and go to other car washes now. This wash is a perfect example of the poopificatioin of everything. They want a stream of your income that amounts to more than the cost of several decent car washes, then they want to do half the work. I rarely write a review that I would consider less than stellar and I'm trying hard to stick to the facts here. I purchased a membership and was happy to support a "local" business that appeared to always hire diverse employees. I always tipped graciously, scheduled detailing appointments a couple times, and never rushed the workers. Where do I start? Things started out well. The regular drive- thru car washes are good. I've never experienced anything but pleasant workers, quick service, and a good wash. The detailing, on the other hand. Oy! My very first detail didn't go as planned. I set an appointment. When I arrived, I was told there wasn't enough time to do the service I requested. I was disappointed but I let them do what they had time to do, tipped, and left fairly satisfied with the job. The next couple of times, I didn't make an appointment I just drove up. If they had time, they did the quick detail -- which always took much longer than they said it would but I would go for a walk and not rush them. Evidently, that's where I made my mistake! Because I went for a walk, and left with my car, I wasn't able to witness the destruction of my dashboard a month ago. Because it was cleverly covered up, in a way that wouldn't be discovered until heating season, I didn't discover the damage until I needed to adjust me heating vent last week. When I returned to FSCW, they chose to be good business operators and claim, I couldn't prove they caused the damage. No good faith move on their part! I understand. I truly do. But here's the thing. I bought my car brand new. They are the only ones who have ever been inside it to detail it. If I was trying to cheat them out of something, I wouldn't bring my car to them, leave it, walk to the bank to get $10-$20 tips, patently wait for my car, return regularly to the drive thru, and pay for a monthly membership! Well, I'm going to go get my car fixed. I cancelled my membership. I truly understand their business stance. Too bad they couldn't understand that I'm an honest person on a fixed income who was happy to support a local family owned business, treat local workers with respect for the work they do by tipping well, and budget for services that make my life as a disabled Vet easier. If you choose to take your car here, be sure you inspect it EVERY time for damages. At least, they won't be able to use the old, "You should have told us sooner," or "You cannot prove it was us, " excuse on you! Too bad! I was okay with the service until this happened. I'm protesting Grafton Full Service Car Wash, FSCW. No manager or owners, only high school age employees. Not that the kids are a problem, it's the management and owner. Or more like lack of. I've tried to cancel since May, in writing and voice mails. No response. They continued to charge my credit card $33.75 since my cancellation request. Then I receive an email saying ok, they will charge me half the price going forward. Well, stupid me, I said ok. Well, I continued to be charged $33.75. since no one gets back to me from this Grafton location, I called another location in Hales Corners. The "manager" there said he promised to speak with the "vice president" and call me back. I'm still waiting for that callback. I contacted the credit card company to appeal these charges. Finally I had to cancel my card. Ugh. Now this ridiculous car wash reply's to the credit card company and says I never put it in writing to cancel! The credit card company sided with FSCW! I can't believe it! I'm really steamed. Now I have to waste more time appealing this decision. All over approx $102. Plus this car wash is nowhere as good as it used to be. I just got my car "detailed" at the grafton location. I paid $106 for the level 2 detail and took my car in at 2:00. The detail was over at 2:20 which I thought was strange since it's supposed to take an hour. I skimmed it over and it looked ok at first glance. As I left I noticed there were spots all over that weren't cleaned or wiped down. I re-installed my car seats and flipped the seats down and it was not vacuumed AT ALL underneath the seats!!! I thought it was suspicious to be done with a detail in 20 minutes. I have pictures attached that I took immediately upon arriving home. This is not a $300 an hour job like they charged me for. Ridiculously over priced for the treatment. Do not work at a car detailing job if you aren't going to be thorough and take pride in your work. Embarrassing. read more

Another great detail job from these folks.I am very hard on my vehicle and they make it new again every time! I have the unlimited wash plan and get 2-3 washes a week as I drive quite a lot, this gets me a 50% discount from the regular price for detailing. I have a big dog who is in the truck several times a week, resulting in tons of dog hair, mud and slobber. They cleaned it all up and even drove me to and from my house!. Don't waste your money. They charge $37 for the express "detail" which is actually just a car wash. I don't know what was so special. The washed it. Vacuumed some of the car. Not the back of the SUV. Cleaned the front mats only. And somewhat dusted the dash. Don't bother. Save your money go to the drive through wash and clean the interior yourself. You will end up doing it anyway. Oh ya. I have a family pass about $40 per month. They are very inconsistent with prewash (inculded in my package) and often don't do it at all. They went to a automatic drying wheel that does a horrible job especially on trucks instead of hand dry at the end as previous. Its like not drying at all on the sides of your car/truck so constant water spots. They constantly try to up-sell which I guess is good business, I'd prefer they did what I am paying them to do each wash. read more

Everytime I go there something is broken. I always have to spend extra time drying the car after I go through. The water recycling is horrible because water drops that are left on the car always dry white. And for some reason some guy hand brushes only part of the car using a dirty bucket of water. And where this person brushes is different every time. They used to hand spray the entire car before the wash to loosen dirt. But now, nothing. Worst consumer experience ever! I have never been so severely disrespected by a manager and was robbed of $116. They damaged my vehicle when detailing it and chipped the paint. They also had to detail my car 3 times before it was clean. I had to visit them every day for a week to resolve this, and it was still robbed and yelled at by the manager in the end. Truly horrible. This would be a good place to start a car wash. I have been here a couple of times but never again. I paid $37.00 for a complete wash. Once my car came out of the brushes 2 people started to wipe down my car. After 3-4 minutes they said my car was ready. We went to the car and it was covered in water and water spots. I had to whistle loudly to get the attention of one of the people that wiped down my car and showed her the problem, she wiped it and walked away! I had to call her back 3 more times and It still wasn't done properly. I could have gotten a better wash from a bunch of kids or a corner doing a fundraiser. Also there were bugs on the windshield and front of the car that were not cleaned off. This place just plain sucks. I had to give them 1 star because I could not give them none. read more

I came here a year or so ago for the first time and was disappointed with the cleanliness of the car. There are plenty of far better (and cheaper) options, so I just decided to go elsewhere. Unfortunately, someone gave me a gift package of six washes at this place, so I came back. I wanted my mats washed, so I had to pay an extra charge (2.99 per mat). The wash I got was $23. I had to stand in line behind two other people registering complaints in order to pay. When I finally got to pay, my credit card was charged for the full wash--so now I needed a refund. I got put back in line and had to wait 10 minutes for the refund. In the meantime, another customer complained. Finally they started working on it. For some reason two employees were involved in the refund and disagreeing about the process. I got out to the car, and ready to go. The mats weren't washed. I go back in for yet another refund... the vacuuming done in the interior was very poor too. A very stressful, unprofessional, and low quality experience. I won't use the rest of my wash package. I asked for a refund of it, but was told to contact the owner, which I intend to do. My experience is that getting a wash at FSCW is a wholly unpleasant experience, even when it's free. read more

Been going here for years. It just hasn't been the same since it became Full Service car wash. Wife stopped in for a wash yesterday. It was a free one with the text club they offer. Truck looks worse after the wash than when it went in. I don't care if it's a free wash, $24 wash or anything in between, it looks TERRIBLE! They no longer vacuum the mats, smear the windows and don't wipe out the door jambs. Would rate at zero stars if I could. That was our LAST visit to this location.
