Fuller's is one of my favorite spots in Fayetteville for a good country meal at a fair price. My mom and I stopped by there on 1/09/26 and as always, it did not disappoint. They have a good salad bar, lots of good proteins, vegetables, some seafood and let's not forget the BBQ. My favorites are the fried fish and shrimp, baked chicken, stew beef, yams, cabbage and fatback. They also have some good desserts, but I didn't have any this particular visit. The wait staff is friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. You can tell it's a local favorite. 1 Star - Disappointing Experience at Fuller's on Raeford Rd My 81-year-old father and I decided to have dinner at Fuller's on Raeford Rd, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The food quality and presentation were both terrible. Of the few dishes available, most were completely dried out or just looked unappealing -- including the fried and baked chicken, roast beef (at least that's what I think it was), and two fish items that were unidentifiable. The corn was pale and dried out, and the only fruits offered -- pineapple and peaches -- looked dry, shriveled and unappetizing. The buffet selection overall was poor, and none of the items were labeled, making it hard to tell what was available. And where was the BBQ that Fuller's is supposed to be famous for? We didn't see any. When I politely voiced my concerns to the "manager," Kaden, he smirked through the entire conversation and seemed more focused on my comment about the corn than the overall issue. His only response was to offer to have the kitchen make some fresh corn -- completely missing the point. He didn't seem ready to manage anything, let alone handle customer feedback professionally. He also asked what time we came in, which shouldn't matter. If they're charging full price for the buffet, then the full buffet should be available. If what we saw was the full buffet, I truly feel ripped off. Our total bill would have been $38.56, but we received a 10% senior discount, which was appreciated -- though it doesn't make up for the overall experience. Compared to other buffets in the area at the same price point, this place is a joke. Sadly, I can't recommend it. read more

We got there a little late...30 minutes from closing so we didn't get to try the other dishes. I'm sure if you come here especially with family, you will be fine. My grandfather had his 96th bday dinner here. Service was good. Buffet just $15, can't beat that. Plenty of food on the buffet such as fish, fried chicken, popcorn shrimp, mashed potatoes, biscuits, rolls, fruit, dessert etc. I'm not a fan of buffets but the folks in my party liked the food. This was just alright . I found the chicken to be very greasy especially when you took the skin off. The mashed potatoes were normal . Mac and cheese was pretty good. Corn was delicious. DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT! While the food is pretty good there are roaches all throughout the dining room. While eating we had two roaches at our table. If we can see two roaches in a matter of minutes I can't imagine how many are in the kitchen and crawling on the food. If you're looking for amazing good old fashioned southern soul food home cooking, this is the place. The huge savory food selection seems to not end, from fried chicken, catfish, pork chops, and chitterlings to macaroni and cheese, fried okra, corn and both collard and mustard greens. We had a work lunch there yesterday (5/30/24), with over 20 people in attendance that was coordinated at least a week ahead of time. When I walked in there was a sign on the door saying they were out of BBQ. I was told by the host that they had been out of BBQ since the day before. If one wishes to dine at a non Covid-19 masking enforcing dinning establishment- Fuller's serves you. Although a "no mask, no service" sign is posted upon entry, management doesn't even attempt to enforce their posted policy. If you're one that wishes to mitigate acquiring COVID while attending a dinning establishment; I recommend avoiding Fuller's- until management takes Covid precautions more seriously. Ok, folks. Looking for a hog fest? This is your place. Two and half hot bars of soul food, two bars for salad and desserts. Heavy on the lard, short on your life span. My kind of place if you're into buffets. I like coming here because it's just what I need when I visit my home state and want to gorge myself on southern food. All of the favorites are here: Fatback, collard greens, chicken n dumplings, fried chicken, bbq, 'nanner pudding, and anything else you can think of. Now don't get me wrong, I love this place but everything ain't perfect. I love chicken n dumplings but I don't anybody else's cause my wife makes the best. Fullers uses food coloring in theirs to make it yellow. Doesn't affect the taste but I just don't like the look of it. Couple of other items I was disappointed with were the cornbread and sausages. The cornbread is fried just the way I like it but this time it was a little more dense than I'm used to and the sausages were a little on the hard side. Other than these two items, everything else were fantastic. Biscuits were hot and buttery, stew beef and rice were great, bbq kicked butt, and the sweet tea was just as sweet tea should be. i have been here many times even during the "pandemic". I'm just curious. Are you still using precautions or are you freelancing it? The patrons should be aware prior to entering. Some employees wear the mask, some don't. What got my attention was a cook or server what have you brought food to the buffet with no mask at all.
