My son got his braces on today!…read more As soon as we entered, the receptionist checked us in and invited us to take a seat. We've been here a couple times, checking them out before making the commitment to go with them for my son's braces. The office has always looked clean, tidy, and fresh. Our first appointment was to basically gather information. We met with Natalie, who told us what we could expect as far as pricing, payment options, estimated length of time for braces to be on, types of braces they offer, troubleshooting, etc. It was a lot of information and we were still researching options, so we didn't commit right off the bat. Natalie followed up with me via email and telephone a couple of times and she was available to answer follow up questions I had. She was always very receptive, professional, and super nice! I never felt like she was pushy. Back to today... In less than 5 minutes, Lisbeth came out, explained the process, and took my son to the back. After maybe 30 minutes, my boy came out with Lisbeth, who sat down with us. She spent a good 10 to 15 minutes explaining aftercare. She had a tray of props and took her time showing him how to brush, how to floss, how to apply wax when needed, and so much more. Lisbeth was very patient and supportive before, during, and after the 'installation' of his braces. My son said that Dr. Curtis was very gentle and reassuring during the process. He told him that it wouldn't hurt, and he also checked on him, asking how he was doing throughout the process. I'm so glad we went with Dr. Curtis for my boy's braces! Much thanks to our dentist, Dr. Steven Myers, for referring us to Dr. Curtis and his wonderful staff!

Natalie was our consultant, and we saw Dr. Curtis for the evaluation. Both were phenomenal. Kind, patient, and answered all of my questions as well as my inquisitive 10 year old. Everyone was extremely warm and welcoming. I would recommend this orthodontic practice based on quality of service alone.

He is done with his treatment while I still have a few more months since I started a bit later. I also had a longer treatment period, just given I had more trays and wore my aligners longer to stay on track based on my wear time per day. CONSULTATION The consultation was fantastic. We loved how friendly the staff was - we had chatted with Kim and she has been incredibly helpful from the beginning before we signed on. She also helped with the details of insurance and financing since I had an insurance change in 2025. Dr. Bock is also friendly and I appreciate his sense of humor and expertise. ISSUE This week, I went back for a visit. Transparently, we've been busy and moved out of Orange County, and therefore it has been more difficult to come in on a weekday. Greeted by the friendly staff and Jessica was awesome. This was my first time chatting with her on the chair and she provided a lot of context on my remaining treatment. 10/10 - love her! I spoke to Kim after as planned since we had corresponded on the phone that there may have been an unexpected pause to my insurance plan. Ultimately, it was due to being a new year, and I needed to share updated insurance information since it was a different plan from the same provider (company offered different plans in the new year, which is not uncommon). This was where things went south. Kim looped in a lady which handled billing. I did not catch her name, but she was asked to help identify what insurance I currently have on file to see if I needed to share updated information. Her attitude was not received well - she was incredibly rude and seemed upset that she has to re-bill my insurance given this change. My treatment is taking longer than expected and I had a job change in 2025, so I had two insurances on file. She acted like it was an inconvenience and I had to stand up for myself and let her know that isn't something that is within my control. All I did was renew my coverage offered by my company, with the same provider in the new year. Its a shame given the rest of the staff have also been well liked by both my partner and I. It is quite ridiculous in that we are coming in to give you our business but receive this type of treatment. It just left a bad taste in my mouth.

They even have a small arcade in the waiting room for bored siblings. I really love their service and what they do.

It also seemed like they were trying to cut corners on electricity use, which gave the place an uncomfortable atmosphere. Dentist - Not friendly or attentive. No X-ray was done, and the consultation felt very rushed. The dentist didn't take the time to explain anything properly or make me feel at ease. Overall - I don't feel this clinic is worth considering for treatment, especially if I'm going to be spending thousands. Patients deserve better care and professionalism, and I believe that can be found elsewhere.

Accurate rating description for two starts is "could've been better." This place only has PA/NP…read moreand no MD on site. They have the capability to draw blood and send to lab for stat orders. Unfortunately, what they lack ends up a longer list. The first MA was unable to get a vial of blood and said someone else would try on my other arm with a straight needed (vs butterfly). She left me without even putting a bandaid on the arm she poked and I had to struggle to put the bandaid on one handed while still maintaining pressure on it. Next MA comes and draws blood and when she's done she yelps I don't have a cotton ball (to put on the vein she just drew out of) and my blood is just pooling while she puts a bandaid on. Luckily I'm well versed enough to know I needed to put pressure on my bandaid. The NP who saw me was new to (per the MA) she really didn't put my mind at ease. Her expertise and knowledge seemed lacking based on the answers to my questions. First thing she asked me was, why are you here and not the ER? I told her my PCP sent me here because she didn't feel it necessitated a ER visit. She wanted me to be evaluated by YOU to assess and in your medical opinion, do I need to be seen further or what course of action next? She swabbed me for flu and covid and I verbally questioned her because I had isolated severe GI symptoms. She said sometimes those present wither GI only. Does it? I don't know, I'm not an MD but I'm also someone who works in healthcare and it didn't feel like the proper procedure. When I asked if she would be ordering any stool samples, I heard through my closed door "do we do that?". Ok, she's new, I'll give her that...but she comes back in and says "if you'd like to have the order for stool testing I'm happy to give that to you." Am I the md or am I the patient? I came here for your professional medical opinion! Do I?! So after I kindly communicated that I am looking to her for her opinion as the expert whether or not my symptoms necessitate an order, she still doesn't quite give me a direct answer! I haven't been to that many urgent cares, but I've come to see a trend that many of the urgent cares that are owned by a company with multiple locations don't have MD's on staff physically there. That said, I've also noticed the trend that many provide sub-par care.

THEY REFUSED TO TREAT ME, AFTER I LEFT MY URINE SAMPLE....UNLESS I PAID WHAT FEELS LIKE A $50 EXTORTION FEE, in order to give me my prescription. When the doctor says they don't hold back care because of an unpaid balance, that is entirely incorrect, and I believe he's lying. His behavior is reprehensible, and he is fully aware of this. Now I get 15 minutes plus waiting each time and incoherent assistants. Last time I left a message for the doctor, I had to repeat a simple question 3 times because they didn't understand it the first two times. Of course never heard back from them. I don't know if they even relayed the message. The doctor is still great so it's a shame but time for a new one.

*update* I initially went to Fullerton Dental and had a good experience at first, but things started to feel off during a later visit. The dentist mentioned I had some "suspicious" molars and said she wouldn't know if they were cavities until she "got in there." She also commented that these molars are usually filled around age 15 and said "good job" since mine weren't. There was no clear confirmation that I actually had cavities. However, when I went to check out, the front desk tried to schedule me for fillings. I questioned it since the dentist hadn't clearly said I had cavities, but I was told that I did. I held off. At my next visit, I experienced similar pressure to schedule fillings again, which didn't sit right with me. I later texted the office asking to schedule a "cavity check," and their response was confusing. They replied that they didn't understand what I meant and then stated that my chart showed I had cavities that needed to be done. This lack of clear communication and consistency raised concerns for me. Eventually, I was told I had four cavities (one on each side, top and bottom), which felt unusual since I haven't had any in over 10 years. To be sure, I got a second opinion from another dentist. They took X-rays, did a thorough exam, and confirmed that I did not have any cavities. I even mentioned what I had previously been told, and they double-checked everything to be certain. After sharing this with Fullerton Dental, they acknowledged my concerns, canceled my appointment, and agreed to send over my X-rays and records. While I appreciate their professionalism in that moment, the overall experience caused a loss of trust. Overall, I recommend trusting your instincts and seeking a second opinion if something doesn't feel right. read more

I was overcharged nearly $200. I went in for routine fillings for my three teeth and before I started signing anything, I made sure to triple check what my cost would be, what my insurance would cover, and that there are absolutely no hidden charges or extra charges that would take place, and that I wanted to just do standard fillings. The staff agreed with everything and so I was billed over $300 for standard filling procedure on my three teeth (with my insurance coverage, and that had to be a joke because there is no way with insurance it should come out to $300). But the staff insisted that that's how much it will be and I had no other choice but to get the fillings done that day. I submitted a claim that took about 2 months to follow up, demanding that I've been overcharged with desensitizing (which should be included in the fillings process) but the dentist proceeded to charge me for that, which nearly doubled my bill. I called claims and thank goodness that they were able to handle the situation and refund me my money but I'm shocked that Fullerton Dental Care just kept telling me that they were charging me correctly, which they obviously are not. And it didn't help that the back of my gums where they injected a shot for numbing became infected and white all over, which made me unable to eat comfortably or even close my mouth for a whole week. I also called them about that and they said they couldn't do anything about it and that they were "sorry." Don't go here folks unless you want to have a battle with your bill and potentially walking away with infections! read more

Dr. Shirazi has been the dentist for our whole family. My kids, my husband and I all go to her, and we couldn't be happier. She is incredibly patient with children and makes them feel comfortable during their visits. Even though her office is quite far from where we live, we still choose to go to her because we truly trust her and appreciate her care. My kids absolutely love her . Shockingly, the doctor laughed instead of correcting her. This kind of behavior is completely unprofessional and unacceptable in a medical setting. After my pregnancy, I decided to go to another dentist for a second opinion on the health of my gums. They told me my teeth and gums were in excellent health and just really needed a good cleaning. My cleaning was done by the new dentist and my teeth and gums fill amazing again. This place is not what it used to be. It is very money driven now and it's disappointing. I have now changed my primary dental office to the new dentist who is able to take care of me without needing a $600 laser cleaning. It feels like they took my concern and tried to profit off of it as much as they could.

I visited this dental office urgently because a crown I previously had done had fallen off. I was…read moresimply looking for a clinic that accepts my insurance and expected a straightforward re-cementing. Instead, the process became unnecessarily complicated and ended up taking over a month. First, they told me I needed to see an endodontist (root canal specialist), even though my issue was just a detached crown. I went to the specialist they recommended, paid for the exam, and was clearly told that everything was fine and no root canal or additional treatment was needed. After completing that visit, I personally called this dental office, scheduled another appointment, and came back. Surprisingly, they didn't even seem to know why I was returning and had not requested or prepared the specialist's report. They then asked me to obtain it myself and made me wait about 30 minutes while they tried to locate the document. What makes this worse is that this was the same specialist THEY referred me to in the first place. Then, instead of proceeding with the crown, they changed their explanation again. This time they said there wasn't enough remaining tooth structure and that I needed crown lengthening surgery. So once again, I had to go to another specialist (periodontist) for another evaluation. That specialist told me there was no issue and that the crown could be placed normally. Because they kept sending me to different specialists one by one without explaining everything upfront, my crown remained off for over a month while I went back and forth between offices. When they finally presented a quote, it included many items that felt excessive or unnecessary. They also selected crown materials on their own without properly discussing options with me, and the pricing was unreasonably high. When I questioned it, their explanation suddenly changed and they tried to brush it off. What also bothered me was their attitude. Male manager looked back at the dentist behind me, smirked, and shook his head sarcastically while I was raising concerns. That behavior was very unprofessional. I asked to speak with the male manager, and after discussion he admitted what he and apologized. By that point, I had completely lost trust. After wasting so much time because of their delays and inconsistent recommendations, I ended up paying cash at another clinic just to finish the treatment quickly. Overall, I felt misled, subjected to unnecessary referrals and questionable treatment recommendations, and treated more like a billing opportunity than a patient. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before committing to treatment here.

This dental office is the real deal. Excellent, professional…read morework. Friendly staff, great dentists. Some of the dentist we have gone to in the past seemed to be doing just surface work. Not getting deeper into what dental issues you have. Just cleaning the surface ( literally and figuratively) and not finding critical issues that you need to stay healthy. CDIC is the opposite of this. They find the root of the issue and tell you in a very transparent way what the next steps are. Getting you to a healthy lasting place with your teeth. Highly recommended.
