This is the third time I have visited this office in Fullerton, I live in Huntington Beach. I make this commute because not only does all the staff treat me with comfort, calmness, and caring, but I truly trust Dr. Talmood. I left today with molar that was not salvageable being pulled and replaced with a bone graph. She was so thorough and made sure was not a pinch of feeling before starting the procedure. I just want to start off my review with saying I had no problem with the staff or how I was treated. It took 2 hours for my appointment which is the longest I've been in a dentist office with them taking a whole bunch of pictures and I still didn't receive a cleaning which I thought it was included cus I have medi cal it was literally 2 hours of taking pictures I only went to this dentist because the dentist I was going to since I was 8 no longer took my insurance . I was lied to saying I have gingivitis and tooth decay (mind you I'm only 21 ) and tried to upsell me on a 700$ cleaning which is crazy to me they took that I haven't been to the dentist in a year and a half and took a mile with it saying I had 7 cavities and that I would need braces for the second time and told me the first time I had braces they didn't do it right and didn't fix my bite all because I said my side of tooth was hurting now realizing it was because I had a sinus infection. I wanted to get a second opinion and called 3 times for my crash and treatment plan and took the third time of me calling for it to be sent to my email. I took the X-rays to my dentist I've always gone to and paid the 150 for the second opinion. She told me I was lied to that my teeth a perfectly fine and I had no cavaties, no tooth decay , and no gingivitis I've seen multiple reviews saying they upsell here but didn't think they would lie to their patients. This is a dentist who's trying to make money off you and your insurance and I was also told upfront for the 700$ cleaning that no insurance company covers it I was also told I had teeth that were in the 6's of peridomal decay when I told my dentist she said my teeth were all in 3's and 4's . UPD: They cancel your reviews on other services and overcharge you for no service provided. --- My reason for visit was a chipped tooth which I wanted to be checked and fixed because it was cracked and did not look nice. I came into the office and was welcomed by friendly staff which helped me to fill in all my data. After that, we spent around 1 hour taking pictures and X-rays of my teeth from all angles. I've been told to wait for the doctor which eventually did not appear due to "urgent reasons" as I've been told. They sent another doctor who checked my tooth and polished it a bit saying there is nothing more can be done at the moment. I had a good experience with the staff overall, but I don't know why I needed to waste so much time taking pictures if I was not treated properly by the doctor that I chose. That is why I don't feel good about the visit but liked the staff that was helpful. read more

I went to Dr. Talmood for a night guard and when it came in it felt a little loose and weird in my mouth, without me saying anything Dr. Talmood saw that the fit was incorrect and took time and care to make a new mold and have the fit corrected - I was trying to just pick it up and rush out of the office, but she made sure to take the time and care to make sure I got the correct fit for this appliance so that it would work and stay in my mouth! After speaking with my insurance company turns out they never submitted a single claim. She overcharged me thousands of dollars and at the same time was collecting money from my insurance company. This place is over charging and your insurance is paying almost the full amount*** I was told by the lady at the front desk (dark hair, glasses wears dirty purple gloves) that my deep cleaning and fixing a molar was going to be $700.00 out of pocket. I was told from this lady that my insurance denied the first request and that if I get money back she would pay my credit card on file. NOPE! About a month later, I recieved my receipt from my insurance and it was way less. They over charged me $480.00 and didn't even let me know or refund me on my credit card. I had to open an investigation through my insurance months later. Horrible! Shady practice from the front desk, billing. I really hope the dentist is not allowing this to happen? I swear by this woman. She literally is a miracle worker sent by the tooth fairy herself and let me tell you why! I came in with half my face looking like a chipmunk due to a horrible infection that started from a root canal situation. Kids, brush and floss everyday so you never have to go through what I went through! Anyway, It was a dental disaster to say the least and I was in excruciating pain. The dentist I went to prior to Anna completely misdiagnosed me and sent me packing with a Z-pack that's completely unrelated to Peptostreptococcus. This Mickey Mouse mistake prolonged the recovery from my infectious bacteria filled abscess (shaking my head), I was mortified of walking into another dentists office but I did... Anna took me in right away like a sickly puppy off the streets and within hours the pressure that was causing me to want to rip out my hair was alleviated. My mom referred me to her since she had been treated by her as well and I hate to say it but, moms are always right and in this case absolutely! I live in West Hollywood so it's kind of a hike but worth it! Not only did I seriously not feel anything during the whole procedure but her staff is hilarious and kept me amused the whole time. Before I left they took x rays of my entire trap to make sure that I don't have any lurking infections on the rise; I don't, we good, and I learned my lesson.
