I just moved to Chicago and I was in need of a ton of electronics. I was referred to Fullerton Pawners by a friend; I was hesitant at first to go to a pawn shop but I went anyways. I was pleasantly surprised. The 2 guys working there were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I was worried because I was a young female and that I might get taken advantage of but, BOY WAS I WRONG. They helped me with what I came in for and did not pressure me to buy things that I didn't need or items that were not in my budget. The merchandise selection was great. I bought a TV and DVD player for a great price. The staff was knowledgeable in all the products and was able to answer all the questions I had without getting frustrated. I wish I didn't even have to give any stars, this place doesn't deserve them. I had an item stolen from me, these jerks pawned it, and after filling a police report, I come to get it back and find out that not only do I have to pay the price they pawned it for ($75), but I also had to pay an additional $15 for interest. Are you kidding me! The item was in the shop for 2 days and you charge that much for interest. I did not pawn the item, it was stolen - this place f*cked up by pawning a stolen item, they should be out the money, not me! Even more messed up, is the guy in the pawn shop even told the officer handling my case that he thought there was something strange about the guy that was pawning the item - well shouldn't that have been a red flag not to do it! Talk about a horrible, piece of s*it business. read more
