Quality comes first. Sandra did a very simple embroidery for me. At first glance, it looked great but then Sandra was honest to tell me there was a mistake and they had to redo the patch. She offered to replace the patches and redo the embroidery for free. I felt the work was satisfactory and really appreciated her honesty and making quality important. I used EmbroidMe to create custom logo shirts for my business. Sandra took a great deal of time to show me the different options I had for shirts and designs. She even gave me a few ideas she's seen other business owners do. She ordered the shirts so I could try them on and said if they didn't work, I could send them back. She did a sample of what my embroidered logo would look like on two types of fabric and made some suggestions on how to make it look better. The customer does not come first with this company. I needed a particiular jacket, but no one seemed to know the fits of any of them, so I bought my own jackets and brought them in to be embroidered. After much discussion, Sandra told me what she would do. I kept pointing to a sample on the wall of what I wanted....even wrote that on the order form. My jackets were finally done TWO WEEKS after the promised date and did not look like anything that we had discussed. Disappointed? Yes! Sandra just kept saying that this is what we had discussed when it clearly was not. She had no intention of trying to fix the problem. And yes, EmbroiMe has lost a customer. Will I ever recommend them to anyone? NO. So sad. So disappointed. read more

Came in last Thursday, had to get a few horse items embroidered for my boss, I walked in to a smiling man (which I am spacing on his name) i will call him Grandpa, because he is Sandra's & Jeff's father/father-in-law. For starters, I was there for a good part of an hour "designing" our items, but more talking about life and other such things. it took 5 mins before I was in the back picking out the colors of the stitching, talking to Jeff and Grandpa S. and discussing how crazy our world is today. I 100% forgot why I was there and enjoying hanging out and conversing with Grandpa S. We eventually designed beautiful lettering on all my items and I almost came around the counter to hug Grandpa S. I'm so excited to see the items when finished. The BEST part is I was able to support a local family run business, gain wise wisdom from Grandpa S. and i know when I get my items back this week, they will be finished as if it was my own Grandpa/Grandma/Uncle/Aunt/Mother/Father doing was the work. I have been using the service of this particular Embroidme (Encinitas) for two years now. I am an extremely picky and detailed oriented customer, Sandra and Jeff ALWAYS accomodate my request and they always conduct business with a smile. The service is great and the prices make them impossible to pass up. My orders range from one or two hats and polo shirts to orders of 100+ t-shirts and they make sure my order is ready on time and often earlier than expected. It is very hard to find a business that still offers good service and a friendly face. They treat you like you are the only customer they have. As long as they're in business I will always be a customer. The service is so good my franchise owners from the east coast call Sandra and place orders here in Encinitas, even though there are embroidme stores in their area. I am a customer for life. Coming from a customer service stand point. I find it very unprofessional to come into a store and throw a fit about not having a job done on time, or even not done properly. Sometimes mistakes happen and they should understand this. But when a manager is doing everything within their power to fix the problem and you want to do nothing but talk over them, and be very rude, disrespectful and demanding, and then storm out of the store and call the manager and their associate dumb and dumber...very first class act you have going there Sandra Sapol, I hope you ruin someone's job so that you can receive the same treatment that you once gave to those poor employees...and yes, even the customers saw your actions and thought it was absolutely ridiculous how an adult can act like a child...you own a business and feel it's appropriate to treat other people like that.
