I recently moved to the North County area and needed some stuff done for Christmas so I Googled "embroidery" and this place came up, so I gave it a shot. First of all, it is not that hard to find at all. The line by line directions on their website were right on the money. Anyways, I had an idea and kinda sorta how to go about it. The owner (Anu I believe her name was) was very helpful. In terms of customer service, this next part I wasn't used to (I've been to some screen-printing/embroidery places before and I always felt rushed) how she went above and beyond for my small order of 2 hoodies and 2 caps. From showing me samples of the hoodies in the store so I would know how they feel and the styles of the flex fit caps, to walking me through the font styles and even showing me the EXACT size that embroidery would look like when the job is done. ALSO with my budged in mind she helped me pick out a few hoodies and flex fit caps from one of her catalogs. The turn around time was pretty fast too, left me enough room to box and ship out my goodies to the East Coast (5 day snail mail) and get there in time for Christmas. The end result was awesome. Everyone that received one of my gifts was pleasantly surprised and totally loved how unique their gifts were. My step-dad even shed a tear... that has to be worth something, right? I am not a regular Yelper, but my experience with EmbroidMe drew me to this site. I wanted to get two handkerchiefs embroidered for my dad for my wedding, and initially ordered them online (from another company). When I received them, the quality was horrible - the fabric was overly stretched, the thread was ripped in some places and connected in others (making a "1" look like an "L"), and the fabric was so thin that a cloth backing was put on that you could see through the front. Needless to say, it was a gift I would have been embarrased to give. I bought my own handkerchiefs (try Macy's, not Nordstroms) and took them to EmbroidMe on a Monday afternoon. We are leaving for our wedding tomorrow (Wed.), so needed a rush order done. Anu helped me see which font would work best and discussed the placement of the text with me, and she didn't rush me even though they were very busy! I got the handkerchiefs within 24 hours, and they are BEAUTIFUL. Very professional and classy. I would go back to this place in a heartbeat. I have been meaning to write this review since a very long time and finally got around to doing it! The first gift I got from my husband was a embroidered wind breaker which made me fall in love with both my husband and EmbroidMe :). We have been regular customers since then. We got embroidery done on shirts, bath and hand towels, graduation sash, blanket and also customized our stationery. All products have turned out to be amazing and excellent gift items. Anu Kumar has been a great help in all respects, be it the selection of a gift item, choice of thread color, font or design. She has always been patient while we sifted through page after page of designs. The items have always been delivered on time, even when the order was to be delivered with a quick turnaround time. It was a really great experience working with Ms. Anu Kumar on personalizing a tote bag with my friend's favorite song lyric and some toys for my baby cousins. From the moment I stepped into the store to when I left with my embroidered items, she cared for every detail I wished to embroider and made sure to spend the time/effort necessary to reach these outcomes. I don't usually write reviews, but I felt the need to because of the great service that I received here! My husband and I got married in January and needed some gifts customized for our bridal party and some of our family members. We brought in our own bags and handkerchiefs to see if they would be able to embroider them - luckily they said yes! :) Once we told them what we wanted done, we were able to work one on one with Anu to get the right colors, sizing, and fonts for our items. She was very helpful in providing suggestions for what would look best. We left our items and picked them up the next week. We LOVED them and so did our friends and family. This is THE place to go for all kinds of personalized embroidery, fabric printing, gifts and other promotional products- for home or for business. The owner provides a great service with a great smile! She is even more particular about creating perfect orders than some of the customers! I have been using her service for everything from customized sweatshirts for my daughter to last minute gifts for nephews to tchotchkies for trade shows and company logo-shirts for the sales team at work!! I ordered personalized jackets for my band at this location. The owner of the shop worked with me to have the band's actual logo embroided on the back of every jacket and placed our first names on the front left side. The owner took her time with me and worked out the plans wonderfully. She both called me and sent me emails to update me on the progress of my project and gave me wonderful advice with regard to the size and positioning of the lettering on the jackets. She finished the project weeks before the deadline date that had been discussed and the jackets came out beautifully! If professional work is what you are looking for, you have found it here!!!! I know we have all been there...the day before Christmas Eve.. .panicking about gifts. Let me tell you all, that Embroidme (run by Anu Kumar) is the parent's greatest gift since "Santa Claus." She ensured that my daughters had their super cozy new winter robes embroidered (with their favorite vacation destination )hours before her store closed at 6:00pm 12/23 for the holiday. Reviewing my first experience of this kind. Three words to describe Anu Kumar - professional, courteous and punctual. She took time to show me so many choices to fit my budget. She wasn't mad when my budget kept changing but patiently followed it up more choices. Once I selected the item she helped me with the design based on her vast experience. She also took time to research and find options in not-so-normal requests like individual packaging. I think I got a much bigger bang for the buck than most other places including the online shops. Wanted an elaborate custom-designed patch made for the back of a baseball jersey for an Xmas present for my father. The 8x8 inch patch entailed 5 seperate tackle twill layers and an obscene amount of embroidery. No one else in town would even return my initial emails without a promise to order at least 20 of them. Anu and her team came through for me with fantastic results and a reasonable price under the circumstances. Give them enough advanced warning and they'll work miracles for you! This is the best place to get embroidery in San Diego! I was given an accurate quote on a very difficult embroidery job (racing suit that required extensive embroidery on the front and back) and an estimated time of completion that were both met. The staff here is very professional and very good at what they do! I'd recommend them for the easiest embroidery jobs and of course even the more difficult ones.
