Even with every table filled, our food arrived in a timely manner and was absolutely perfect! I always hesitate to order steak from a restaurant because I know I can be very particular, but the ribeye was cooked perfectly... so tender and full of flavor! The owner was hands on and even brought me a small helping of their broccoli salad to try... they use cranberries instead of raisins and it was delicious! Everything was perfect! It's the most pit-stop worthy place on a long empty haul where the only other attraction is an old corn silo with a tree growing inside it -- we call it the "Hannibal Lecter tree" and a big funny billboard for the "Hoopston corn jerkers."
