Found Arlington Public House on a Yelp search. Visited about 6:30p on. Friday evening. Quickly was seated, but by 7p it was filling up. Server took our orders. Appetizer was Firecracker Shrimp with a Pinacolada sauce. Was very good. Kids ordered the cheeseburger, fruit cup and cucumber slices and grilled cheese with mac and cheese and fruit cup. My wife got the Filet mignon, red skin mashed and asparagus. I ordered the fish and chips, redskin mashed potato's and coleslaw. Service was attentive The restaurant was well lit. Trendy, but not intimate. Boys lived their meals. My wife enjoyed her filet. My fish....... 1st filet was under cooked. 2nd filet was perfect, crispy outside, flaky i side. Probably would mot order the fish again, but will definately return.

The service and burgers were great. No wait. The bartender made great drinks as well.

I took several family members out for breakfast on Saturday. We waited quite sometime to get our…read moremenu's and have our order taken. It was over 30 minutes before our food arrived. We ordered Mackey Mouse pancakes for the kids. Needless to say it was just a regular large, dry pancake, missing the whip cream. The skillet that ordered had absolutely no flavor and their hashbrowns were tasteless as well. We had to ask for silverware and at no time did we get offered a refill on our coffee. Needless to say we will never go back. They really need to work on their service and improve the food!

Gave it a second chance after a negative experience a few years ago. Needless to say - second…read morenegative experience. Always want to be fair in a review, but this wasn't good - charged for items I didn't order (asked for water, charged for coffee), one person in my party asked if there was an item on the buffet and was told they could get it, then charged separate charges for two orders of that item. Hashbrowns seemed like frozen shredded type, etc. Basically spent dinner prices on 3 breakfasts and 3 coffees (no water or coffee refills, no cream). You could tell they have regulars and those who enjoy the country atmosphere but we won't again. One bit of advice: Check your bill and ask if you will be charged extra for anything.

I didn't know what pie to choose, so I told the server, "Feed me." She brought out the peanut butter cream pie. Excellent choice.

We had the cauliflower veloute, miso black cod, pork ribeye, smoked carrots, and olive oil cake. All dishes were great, but the vegetable dishes were standouts with their flavor. Amuse bouchée- melon and goat cheese, were we in for a treat???!!! As reviews mentions the service is great, Isabella took great care of us, we were worried when she disappeared in the back with the "manager" never to be seen again, not there to close up our table, not there to offer us birthday wishes not there to finish dinner very odd. She asked how the food was, we told her is was overcooked. The manager was listening in - then she disappeared. The recommendation for wine was perfect and that's where the good ends. We ordered tuna on a wonton, which was tasteless lacking flavor, salt, zero umami! The oysters, East Coast were raw, so not hard to screw that one up. We doubled this order for 3 people. We ordered the duck breast - we were told that we could not have the skin crispy, and the duck medium rare as a chef would be unable to do that. So we decided crispy skin and medium cooked duck would be OK. What was served was two slices of duck-contributor yes, two slices. Did we pay for 1/3 of the duck breast? No, we were charged for the full duck breast - Shrink-a-nomics. We also ordered the 'pork ribeye', to temperature, or MR. What we were brought was a grilled-grey-pork loin no ribeye, no fat, no bone. This was served over what was supposed to be polenta. But it was lumpy and flavorless. The flavor profiles of both the duck and the pork were missing, the sauce the jois, everything was off. We had a special signed card to greet us for a birthday welcome- but no offer of dessert or a menu or anything- just a don't let the door hit you on the way out.
