My buddies and I have always enjoyed getting together for some drinks and cigars at FUMA, the humidors has really good selections

It's been another year since my last review, and theres been some great changes. PRO AIR/SMOKE FILTRATION AND IONIZER One of the best lounges I've been too in handling smoke filtration and overall cigar smell. On top of the two industrial air filtration systems on the ceiling, the owners have added two floor units. It's my understanding that all the filters are changed, not just cleaned, but replaced monthly. If that's true, it's working, and greatly appreciated by customers. The owners have also installed an ionizer that runs every night during non-occupancy. I was the first customer in that day, NO CIGAR STENCH!!! What a difference!!! Every lounge should have an ionizer! Nice assorted beer menu, Cuban coffee, Soft drinks, and more. Comfortable chairs. Games. Poker Table. Ect. Large TV's that are easy to view from anyplace you're seated. CON Parking can be a pain. For a Cigar Social, the STOCK in the cigar humidor is not well maintained, and could have a better thought on variety. The holy trinity for cigar storage; Temperature (Good) Humidity (Good) I checked purchased cigars with a cigar humidity meter. UV/Sunlight (?) There is a window going to the outside in the humidor, and there are cigars right at the window. I didn't see any film on the window to block UV rays. If there is, disregard the CON. Applying film, or posters, on the window would protect the cigars from UV, and also help maintain a steady temperature. Overall a very pleasant experience. Staff were wonderful. My visit to tallahassee is not complete without a visit for a cigar. Cigars vary in quality and quantity, but this time they were doing well. BTW - they also have drinks. Parking is pretty easy- I think it's part of that out parcel that is party of Liberty. Ambiance - long hall like room with leather couches. Very sizable. Bar is in the back left size. read more

One of the better Cigar Lounges that I've been to. They set themselves apart by serving a mean cup of homemade Cuban coffee, it's silky smooth and pairs well with the right stogie. They have a great layout with big screen TVs, game tables (poker/chess), plenty of seating inside and out, and a good variety of Cigars to choose from. If I had to nitpick, I would suggest some background music, and adding lighters and cutters on every table for customers to use (maybe tie them on a chain if they fear someone taking it). But overall, I like the place, can't say much about the drinks available as I went specifically for the coffee. Keep in mind, the coffee sis $8 and serves four. read more

Online and maps showed the cigar lounge was open. Showed up and the doors were locked. NO not on the door about being closed. The open sign in the front said "come in we're open." Called to see if they were open, and got an attitude saying they weren't open and then when we walked around, there was a paper sign just put out saying closed until further notice. VERY UPSETTING AND NOT APPRECIATIVE OF THE ATTITUDE WHEN WE CALLED. read more

My favorite spot for a relaxing night out! Fuma stands out from the other cigar lounges in town as both a spot for a great cigar and drinks and as a relaxing atmosphere to kick back for a while. It's a welcoming space and serves some of the best Cuban coffee in town (plus a wide variety of craft beers). If you know to ask for it, they'll even pour a shot in your stout for one of the smoothest beers you'll ever have. The wide selection of cigars has something for everyone, from light to heavy, but it's the atmosphere and staff here which really make this one of the most relaxing experiences I've had in Tallahassee. The wait staff were all very attentive and happy to help, along with the owners themselves. Whether you're a rookie or an aficionado, they'll help you to find what you'd like and provide any insider information on each cigar. Seriously, they know their stuff! Overall, Fuma Cigar Social is a great spot and one I regularly recommend whether it's a night out with a bunch of friends or just my fiance and me. Give 'em a shot! read more

The staff make this place what it is. Hands down. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, engaging, and on and on. On both occasions visiting Fuma, the staff was helpful in picking out a great cigar based on my likes and palette. They both took the time to even explain their recommendations and pair it with a great drink. Both times they were spot on. The lounge has a very relaxed, chill vibe with comfortable seating to play a hand of poker, chess, or watch whatever game might be on. The TV's aren't dominating the conversation level though. You can carry on the a conversation and relax without it being loud. This would be a frequented spot for me if I lived in the area, for sure. read more

Fuma has a great vibe. The cigar and bar selection complement each over very well. A cigar connoisseur can come here to enjoy a cigar alone or with friends since there are various activities to enjoy. This establishment is thoughtfully designed with one small exception, the restroom is a little basic. Although it's in no way a deal breaker, I expected the restroom to be a little more elevated. I know it's a silly critique, however, the owner of Fuma paid great detail to the smoking room, I was surprised to see the simple sink and facility in the restroom. It's something I'd expect on the FSU campus or dorms. Either way, it's a great location. read more

Great first visit. The atmosphere is trendy and the staff is really kind. Thursday is live music night, something I am not typically a fan of, but it was tasteful and the volume was low enough you didn't have to yell to speak to your neighbor. I was greeted at the door at the walk-in humidor where I was invited to go in and select cigars I liked, or they offered to come along side and guide me. Being familiar with cigars, I knew what I was looking for and they pointed me in the right direction. At the register outside the humidor, I was invited to start a tab for the evening which they transferred to the table I settled at. They also offered to cut my cigar for me and light it as I stood there, which was nice. Wine, beer and Cuban coffee are what you will find on the menu. What is lacking from the menu is a full bar, which is always nice with a cigar. Not a huge hinderance, as the beer and wine selection is very adequate - and their "mixed" drinks are good as well. Prices for the cigars and drinks were fair, actually less than I expected for a cigar lounge. Service was the only hiccup this night. While the staff was super friendly, service was very slow. Wine and beer orders could take more than 10 minutes to hit the table, and there were maybe 5 tables sat in the lounge. I am sure with time this will improve, as FUMA is still relatively new. I am eager to go back. We all had a very good time here and can't wait to make this a regular event. read more

Ive been coming to this place for 3 years now and is all you can ask for in a cigar lounge with tvs and an outside patio. It's a great spot to catch live sport games or just grab drinks with friends. I always love coming to this place. It's a very nice chill atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. You walk in and on your left is a walk in humidor where you can purchase cigars. There is staff in hand if you have any questions about any of the cigars. As you walk in further there is a big open area with plenty of comfortable chairs to sit in. The bar which had a good selection of beers. The staff is always really nice and super helpful. I absolutely love this place and cannot recommend it enough for those who love cigars! read more

I was in Tallahassee for some job training; I wanted to go somewhere to relax, have a beer and a nice cigar. Of course I went to Yelp.. and found this wonderful institution. I was greeted at the door by the owner, picked out my cigar and was seated. He then proceeded to personally cut and start to light my cigar (no he did not put his lips on it, you uncultured heathen..) I then sat back and relaxed while watching some sports on the TV. I was attended to very well, but not too much. I finished out with their signature expresso that they poor, in front of you, into their milk stout that they have on tap. Again, not disappointed; as this was outstandingly delicious, and dangerous I might add.. I would absolutely recommend this institution to any cigar enthusiast or simply a person who enjoys a place with great service and intriguing atmosphere. read more

Fuma Cigar Social provides a very elegant and laid back ambiance to relax with your comrades while enjoying a nice, soothing cigar. The staff is very accommodating and the bar prices are not all that bad considering the feel of the Lounge. Now here is why I am giving Cigar Social a 3 star, even though a case could be made for 2 stars: Their selection of cigars is EXTREMELY limited which is very disappointing considering that is their niche. I remember going to Fuma the first week they opened with the promise that they would soon have a fully stocked, diverse humidor. Fast Forward almost 1 year and not much has been added to the inventory. I really do want to see Fuma prosper, but they seriously need to amp up their selection. read more
