After a full day of graduation festivities, my brother and I decided to come here for a night cap and to catch up on life. We both enjoyed two Devil's Advocate cocktails which were reminiscent of a Manhattan. The salmon was cooked to perfection, and the crab stuffing added a savory twist that was beautifully balanced with a touch of fresh lemon juice. The Parmesan Orzo was the perfect complement, rich and cheesy without overpowering the dish. To top off the meal, I indulged in a Carrot Cheesecake for dessert. We are staying at the Doubletree Hilton in Tallahassee while my daughter is at her orientation. We read about Eve on Adams our first night here and my husband and I decided to go up to the top to check it out. When we got to the special elevator that leads to the restaurant, we were told that they closed early that night. It was only like 830 or so so we were kind of disappointed and ended up just going to the downstairs little bar. We decided to try it again last evening and this time we were able to go up. Walking in, there was a very cool vibe, and there were a decent amount of people there which added to the atmosphere. Our bartender was amazing. She was so helpful in choosing a drink and kept checking on this to see if we were good. We did not get any food, but we both did enjoy our drinks. We went to go outside to see the view, but because there were storms in the area, they closed the off. For our last night here we went upstairs again. This morning time it was not as crowded, but there were still a decent amount of people there. We were greeted by our same bartender, and another one actually served us tonight and my crafted drink was outstanding. We were also able to go outside this evening and it was quite a view. We got there around nine and they were doing last call by 9:15. So we were only able to have one drink. I believe the signs for this place show that it is open later in the evening so I would definitely check before you go. It would've been nice if it would have been open longer so we could've stayed and enjoyed the view but nonetheless it had a little something extra to our evening. I decided to take my wife to EVE ON ADAMS Restaurant for Mother's Day, on Sunday, May 10, 2026, to express my appreciation for her. Worst decision of 2026! The meal and service was Good. However, There was one mishap that occurred during the meal service. The waiter inadvertently waisted water ALL OVER ME! My shirt was soaked! Other that that, the rest of the meat was fine. Other patrons witnessed this, and I anticipated that management would eventually come out and, at the very least apologize. NO SUCH COURTESY was extended! At the end of the meal, I ask for management. A "manager" appeared at the table , upon request, and I explained the situation. Instead of apologizing for the mishap; the manager(over kitchen staff) offered to "pay me off" with a $50 gift card, as if that was my expectation, to get some type of compensation.! I objected, and expressed my dissatisfaction with his assumption(writing me off as some type of opportunistic beggar!)! When I said his offer WAS NOT SUFFICIENT nor ACCEPTABLE(as I was expecting professionalism, and NOT charity); his IMMEDIATE next response was; and I quote; "i will call the police and have you removed"!!! What?!?! This is the type of response that a black man can expect for objecting to sub-par service(having my clothes ruined) from EVE ON ADAMS?!?! It appeared so, to me from that manager, who also refused to provide his name! My immediate response to him was, "CALL THE POLICE!". I asked my wife to start recording! However, that manager QUICKLY left the table! WE sat there for some time waiting(for the police)! My wife, "mother" of my children, and reason for patronizing the establishment, (out of fear for what happens to black peoplein these situations) suggested we should leave. She thanked me for bringing her there, but said "she NEVER WANTED TO COME HERE AGAIN"! But before I would leave, I decided to request for higher management. Someone at the bar, indicated that he was a manager as well. I explained the issue and he apologized for the other manager's inadequacies, and the poor service that we received! I accepted that, but still WOULD NEVER FREQUENT EVE on Adams establishment again under current management! And again, the waiter who made the mishap, WAS WAAAAAY more apologetic and empathetic, than management!! Would Not Frequent this establishment ever again! read more

We were very excited to celebrate our FSU grad at this special restaurant. Lovely sunset views, good food, good server. The kitchen had some delays, which we were patient about, due to the busy night. However, when my husband accidentally left his credit card on the table, and they refused allow him back upstairs less than 5 minutes after we had left, things took a dark turn. What followed was an aggressive confrontation involving a threatening bouncer, a hotel manger trying to help in a bizarre situation, the Tallahassee police, and the restaurant manager indignantly refusing to retrieve the credit card for us. He told us to call later in the week, even though we explained that we were leaving town the following morning. He claimed the card hadn't been turned in, but we knew that it was probably still in the folio on our table. We had just used the card to pay $500 for dinner, then descended the elevator. It was there, he just couldn't be bothered to look for it. We eventually had to leave without the card. Thanks to a long list of outraged comments on a local Facebook group, I did get a call the following morning saying that (of course) they had found the card, and I was able to pick it up. But, during the altercation, my husband had asked the rude, aggressive, obnoxious, unaccommodating restaurant manager if he was trying to get him to leave a bad review. His response: "I don't give a F**K." So, here you go, Eve on Adams, you've earned this review. I hope the owners of this place fire this guy. I sure know I would. read more

Brunch is amazing and they should do it more than once a month. Book a reservation because the patio goes fast. You may be able to do walk in if you get there when they open for indoor seating. While I love the evening ambiance, the bar food isn't good, and the well liquor is terrible. They also don't have good happy hour specials. Really nice bartenders tho! I've been here twice now, once with family and once with coworkers. The servers are very friendly, and the food is delicious. I haven't ordered anything off of the main dinner menu, but the fried deviled eggs and tuna poke are amazing! The charcuterie board is also very generous and has a variety of goodies, although, you only get a very small piece of brie cheese, and a very small piece of pepper jack. I recommend paying as you go because the bar will put a hold on your card that will not drop for a few days. The hold is not removed when you pay your bill. When the weather is nice, I recommend getting there early, like before 6 o'clock, and grabbing a seat outside. The view is breathtaking for being in the city, and it overlooks the western sky so you can catch an amazing sunset. The inside bar is very pretty and unusual. It is made of onyx (travertine) and is lit up. If you come during happy hour, you will get a better deal on the cocktails because they are $10 instead of upwards of $16. I really liked the Empress Hawaiian. The Tally in Bloom has elderflower liquor in it as well. Their smoked old fashioned is delicious too! The restrooms also have a view! Floor to ceiling windows in both the men's and the women's make it fun to visit the loo. Another reason to get their early is if you want to sit inside and just have cocktails and appetizers, all of the booths are reserved for dinner patrons, and the other indoor seating is a little sparse. The bar has a good number of seats and is great if you don't need to face your guests. The service is a little faster at the bar, too. read more

I decided to visit this place to celebrate a friend's birthday. It has a nice ambiance and gives a feel like you're not really in Tallahassee. The vibes and drinks were very good. However, the food was just okay. I had the seafood pasta and I just wasn't very impressed. It came out a little lukewarm. There also wasn't much lobster in the dish for it to be priced so high. Went here for Valentine's Day. First time visiting and would definitely go back. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Not overbearing, but definitely paying the right amount of attention. We don't like to be rushed, especially on a special occasion. And that's how this experience was. The food is very good, the music was excellent (they had a 3 piece jazz ensemble from FSU), and the ambiance is perfectly suited for a nice meal. The only complaint we have, and we don't necessarily blame the restaurant, is some of the sloppy attire the men wear. This is especially unfortunate when they're with women who really dressed nicely. This is a nice restaurant, and so in our view the flip flops, hoodies, shorts, and baseball caps don't fit. While we'd like to see higher end restaurants have some degree of dress code, we realize it's probably not going to happen. The message to the men out there is dress appropriately. read more

My most recent visit here was quite lovely. It was for a dear friend's birthday dinner. Jordan took care of us. The party was large (10-15 people) but she didn't miss a beat. I ordered the Italian Nachos and they were really good. The seafood pasta was also quite good. The prices are a bit high, but there's a great view of the city and the ambiance was really nice. The live music was also a nice touch on a Saturday night. This was my 2nd time here, and I LOVE it for the view! I do think the drinks are a bit overpriced, and the food is good. It's not GREAT, but it's good. Eve on Adams used to be my favorite bar in downtown. This past weekend my parents were in town and I recommended them to go there. Unfortunately they weren't even able to have a single drink before the general manager decided to curse out my mother for bringing in a backpack against his direction. While I understand that it may have been against bar policy to allow in guests with a backpack, in what world is it acceptable to curse out a 70 year old woman? We ended up going to Savour downstairs and had fantastic service and great drinks. When we told the bartenders at Savour what had happened, they immediately knew who we were talking about. They told us his name is Frank but they just call him "asshole", and that he works at Dale Earnhardt Jr Chevrolet during the day. What does this say about your business when your bar manager holds a reputation like that? Never coming back here again. Dont waste your time and just go to Savour, the drinks are better. read more

My friends and I decided on this restaurant because of their great happy hour menu/deals. However, we were highly disappointed with the service. The server never specified their house wines that were on the happy hour menu. When we ordered our wine we specifically asked for the "house Sauvignon blanc and house Chardonnay". The server failed to tell us, until after the check was dropped, that their house wines aren't on the menu and there is only house Pinot Grigio. Which we would've loved had we known that was the only option. When we articulated our disappointment with the check we were told there was "nothing they could do". If something is not on the menu and the server doesn't tell you, I'm confused as to how we would've known. The food we did order was great and the restaurant is beautiful. I just don't recommend this place if you're looking for great service. read more

Pricey as heck but the views are amazing from the 17th floor of the Hilton! While dropping our son off at college, we had our final dinner here. Son had a $70 filet and we shared a $24 burger. For an appetizer, the tuna poke was fresh and tasty with a nice punch of ginger - and fresh chips were crunchy and plentiful. A couple glasses of wine, 22% added gratuity and the bill was $190. Ouch. Eve on Adams is Tallahassee's new rooftop bar and event space, atop the Double Tree hotel. It appears to be an attempt to replicate a classy rooftop hotel bar (Level 8), but has (at this time) been executed with a sub-par attention to detail, clueless cocktails, unprepared staff, and poor management. I visited once, thee weeks after their grand opening, and I won't be going back any time soon. -- Drinks -- The drinks are overpriced and nothing special. Two cocktails from their specialty menu was over $30, before tip. The drinks themselves were sloppy and uninspired. I paid $16 for a drink that had loose jalapeño seeds in it. Opinion: A drink with "blue" in the name shouldn't come out being physically red. Sticking with "sloppy", the long awaited specialty cocktail menu could use some editing. Not only is the content of the menu fairly basic, but several items on it have mistakes. If you think triple sec is spelled "Tripple Sex" or a cocktail is "$1400" you probably shouldn't run a bar. Hopefully this is a side-effect of being a new bar and will be fixed soon. -- Service -- The service was terrible, from the front desk to the bartender. There was only one employee working in the entire bar when I visited on a Thursday night. The front desk provided no guidance or welcome at all. We ended up getting directions from a custodian on the 16th floor who saw we were getting lost. The bartender was the worst I've interacted with in years. He was extremely unfriendly towards all of the guests and seemed bothered by our presence. He would leave and hide in the kitchen at every opportunity to avoid customers. We were even met with attitude for asking for a menu and not just ordering a simple mixed drink or wine. Very unprofessional attitude for a venue attempting to build a reputation as a nice bar. -- Atmosphere -- The view and outer deck is perfect. Eve really has one of the best views in the entire city, second only to the capital observatory. There are plenty of places to relax with a small or large group. Plenty of outdoor flame heaters will keep you warm if it's a little chilly. Siting outside or watching the sunset is the main draw to this bar. The indoor atmosphere is coming together but needs more work. The mural and tree light fixtures set the tone for a "Garden of Eden" theme. Unfortunately the large space feels quite empty with a few scattered tables around the room. I suspect this is due to the recent opening or to allow furniture to be moved for events. -- Tips -- The bar can't be accessed via any of the ground-level elevators. Chef Tommy and his daughter (waitress) Peyton blew me away with their service tonight... not to mention the incredible food. I'm on a strict diet due to health reasons and can't have grains or dairy. They went above and beyond to make sure that I had something delicious to eat.
