I found Fumfie on-line quite by accident and saw that their prices were a lot lower than their competition. I'm a techie and usually do my research on a company before I order anything on-line from them. For whatever reason, (mainly that I have 23 projects on my plate at the moment and research was not in the picture). I order a Canon D70, battery pack and SD card from Fumfie on Saturday August 15, 2015. When I submitted my order I thought I would get an email notification concerning my order. I did not get one on Saturday and was a little concerned about it, but I was busy on Sunday and did not get near a PC to check my email. On Monday when I checked my email there was an email from Michael with Fumfie asking me to contact him on Sunday about my order. Before I called him, I thought I would go research the company and did not like what I found or saw. I even thought about trying to cancel my order, but thought I would give Michael a call. When Michael answered, my plan was to cancel my order based on what I read on-line, however Michael said, your order has been processed and is awaiting pick up from FedEx. He was very nice and very helpful, but I still was a little concerned that I was being scammed based on what I read on-line. In about a hour after that call I got a email saying my package had been shipped complete with a FedEx tracking number. I tried to track it immediately, but of course you have to wait until 7 PM for FedEx to update their records. Sure enough at 7 PM, the FedEx site updated the status to being picked up from shipper and at the regional hub, with an expected delivery date of Thursday August 20, 2015. I began to feel a little better about my purchase at that point (again, based on what I read from other that have done business with Fumfie.com. Sure enough on Thursday my package arrived and the contents where EXACTLY as I had ordered, complete with all the manuals, D70 camera, batter charger, battery. all in their original plastic bags, exactly as if I had bought it from Best Buy or Amazon. I can't speak for all the other negative comments on here, I can only tell you that my experience was a VERY positive and smooth experience. I ordered on a Saturday afternoon and I had my package by Thursday afternoon 5 days from when the order was received by them and processed. Based on this experience, I would buy from them again without hesitation and like any other place I shop at.....I will do so until they give me a reason not to. That's a relief n I appreciate that. Last Week I ordered a Metabones S Version Speedbooster for my GH4 on Amazon. This adapter is popular and hard to find since it's AMAZING is in high demand by GH4 users. After 2 previous companies sent me the wrong version I scoured Amazon and came across Fumfie. They had the right adapter and Of course There was "Only 1 left"...So of course I ordered. I was weary at first of Fumfie since I wasn't familiar with the name and of course I came across aggressive negative reviews about them and immediately I was rattled n preparing to lose $, not get the product, or cancel my order... I WAS WRONG...Fumfie has been GREAT and helpful every step of the way... The adapter was out of stock but I received a prompt email saying they would have 3 days later, they did. They sent it to me and took "care of me" for the delay on my initial 2 day shipping on the order. Again...STEVEN and PATRICK at Fumfie are what all employees in customer service should be, and are good ppl regardless of where they work. When I came upon Fumfie, their price wasn't the lowest but close to it. They also charged a $99 insurance fee which I knew about from reading reviews.. Still the savings was over $600. I felt compelled to write a review because of all of the negative reviews here. While I don't dispute the veracity of anyone's account, my own experience with Fumfie was a very positive one. They did call me and attempt to get me to buy and extended battery and an extended warranty for the camera I ordered. I politely declined, and they were not TOO pushy about it - I understand that a business tries to sell. At any rate, I paid a pretty penny for expedited shipping and it arrived on time. The only issue was that I got an email from them specifically saying they would NOT send my item with direct signature required by FedEx (which requires someone to sign at your home - there is no pre-sign, or drop it at the neighbors option available), yet that is exactly what happened. Oh well, it worked out, but it was confusing to get a specific disclaimer in the tracking email stating they would not do that, yet they did. Anyway, just my experience. I purchased a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200 Digital Camera, after reading the advertisement on their web site: "It's hard to understate the improvements your photos will show, especially zoom close-ups, when you are shooting at f/2.8. The f/2.8 will allow you to use faster shutter speeds at full zoom or lower light and get sharp, blur-free images. Add to that, the Light Speed Auto Focus and 12 frames per second burst shooting speed and you have no reason to ever miss a shot. Really." Well, I wasn't impressed with the quality of the photographs. My Canon PowerShot SX50 HS Digital Camera that I purchased last year is much better. So, I've decided to upgrade to a Canon or Nikon DSL camera, and returned the Lumix to Fumfie. Only problem is, after I paid to ship the camera back to them, they charged me 15% to return the item. Stay away from Fumfie. Better to make your purchase through Amazon or Best Buy where you have no hassle returns. It does appear that they are a scam. read more

I read the other reviews of Fumfie online, and was terribly hesitant to order with them. I almost went with B&H, a trusted source I had bought from several times before, but decided the $500 cost difference was worth it. I called Fumfie and spoke with John in sales. I told him about my hesitation, and that I had a shoot in less than 2 weeks and needed the camera. He told me about their extended warranty offers, offered me extended life batteries to which I explained I already owned these. 3 minutes of polite upselling saved me $500. He composed my order over the phone and sent me a Paypal money request, I paid for it, and although he said it could take up to 48 hours to process, I got a UPS notification that my camera shipped WITHIN 5 HOURS OF PAYING! This service was BETTER than B&H! Do yourself a favor, buy through Fumfie, but call and order over the phone for the best customer service experience. Highly recommended! By reading the reviews it seems like a lot of people had trouble with appliances. My review is for a Canon 5D Mark III body. I bought a 5D Mark III (upgrading from a 6D) on March 5th with 2 batteries and a battery grip. Turns out I didn't need the batteries as a friend of mine was going to give me 1 so I called to take it off the order. Customer service was quick to help me out before it shipped. Not only did I save $70 from the battery but I also saved $200 from the 5D Body! On top of that I got my packages 2 days later, ON SATURDAY! (They use FedEx Home Delivery so most packages scheduled for Monday delivery by UPS or USPS will be delivered two days earlier at no extra cost.) Registered my 5D on Canon's website without any issues, used it on Saturday evening and got incredible shots with my 50mm f1.2!!! Extremely happy with the camera, savings and quick customer service. read more

As otthers have written, their is something extremely shady about this business. I ordered a refrigerator they processed my credit card and had the funds in two days. 3 weeks later, 4 phone calls I was told numerous stories. It is in the warehouse, will shipped yesterday, Samsung giving us a run around, sourcing from another supplier, they are within 2 week order period. When asked for refund told I would have to speak to John the manager. Insisted upon refund and they said it was "being processed" but they would give me an extended warranty? On what I cancelled the transaction. If you are caught up in doing business with this company I would advise you refer to the "30 day rule" law under the Federal Trade Commission. It can guide our actions with this company. I would choose another vendor even if you pay more....in the end it will cost you less. read more

hello ... I found my Nikon D7200 here for 400$ less than the other sites ( with the prime lens) ... I was happy and made the purchase , after that I looked at the reviews and I was very scared .. I called Fumfie at once to confirm my purchase , they try to up-sale me few stuff , they was very gentile , I gently declined . I chose the slowest delivery available ( 5-8 business days ) , after only 2 days I got the shipping confirmation , it was good sign but I was still scared , I got my package today and every thing was perfect EXCEPT there was no warranty ( the original yellow one ) but who cares , the camera and the lense were brand new , I checked the shutter count before I submit this review , and guess what , IT WAS ONE SHUTTER COUNT , thank you Fumfie , you made my day , keep the good work . cheers read more

My experience with FumFie was excellent. The bad reviews were scary, but their price for my Panasonic LUMIX DMC-ZS40 were about $100.00 less than anywhere else, so I took the risk. Great move! Someone always answered the phone when I called and they were always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. My camera arrived in two days and was brand new and in mint condition. The whole process was quick and professional. No high pressure either. The salesperson suggested an extended warranty and I declined, so he moved on to completing the purchase. Frankly, I find Best Buy far higher pressure. I totally recommend this company- great prices, excellent, responsive employees, and FAST delivery. What's not to love! read more

I ordered a camera and lens for $584 for my nephew. Within 30 minutes I realized he did not need it and decided to cancel the order. I was a bit concerned after reading all of the negative feedback that i was going to get screwed. I followed up the next morning at 8:30am pacific time to cancel (hold time was about 23 minutes but that happens) the order. I spoke with Adrian and i learned the order was shipped. Under normal circumstances i would have been thrilled that my order was on it way but since i was canceling i was not as delighted. I purchased on-line a DJI Phantom 3 Standard from Fumfie. By far, they had the best price. However, similar to what everyone is posting, I was a little nervous. I'm from Massachusetts, and they're from NY, so I never heard of them. I was so pleased and happy with their service, their professionalism and their friendly attitude. Everything arrived exactly as stated. The only problem I had was a dead battery. I got on the phone the next morning, and they immediately sent me a replacement. Ordered four GE appliances on 8/18/13, delivered on 9/15/13 - 20 business days later. Paid additional to have dishwasher, gas stove & refrigerator installed. Delivery crew scratched my new kitchen cabinet and dented the right door of the refrigerator. Dishwasher will not drain. Range oven will not go pass 100 degrees. Fumfie customer service was horrible. Promised to address these issues every time I called. I am still waiting after calling everyday and sending emails. Had to take this up with my credit card company as a dispute. I have two supposedly new appliances I've had for 15 days and cannot use. Very disappointed with Fumfie. read more

I ordered a camera from Fumfie and am very happy with the price and pretty fast shipping too. I ordered it on a Saturday and it shipped 3 days later, and received it within a week or a little more from the Saturday order date (I do live in NY, where they ship from FYI). They did contact me before shipping to see if I wanted a memory card, which delayed shipment, but I suppose was good since the camera did not come with one and would've been helpful if I hadn't known this already. I ordered my refrigerator from them several months ago and while they were a little slow in getting it shipped once they did it was delivered and installed by a highly competent company that Fumfie had hired. I was extremely satisfied with the whole process and the price i paid was almost $1000 less than the same item at H H Gregg and included delivery, installation and a new water line all of which was extra at Gregg. I am in the process of redoing my kitchen and wished they sold ranges, dishwashers and microwaves as I would have no problem buying from them again. read more

I was apprehensive about placing such a large order with a company that I had never worked with in the past but couldn't have been happier with the results.
