I got my BLS training done here which consisted of learning CPR on adults, children, and infants. You learn about choking on all of these age groups as well. I had a great experience at Fun CPR with our trainer, Eric Lopez. He was concise, smart, funny and thorough. This is only my second time attending a cpr training. The first time I went was through the red cross and I don't feel like I retained the information that well, which is not the norm for me when learning. It was exceptionally dry and not very thorough. I decided to try the American Heart Association training via Fun CPR hoping for a better experience and because I now have a baby and want to be prepared to handle the worst-case scenario. Some of members did CPR training 2 years ago so we had to renew our certificate. We did it with another company before but switched because Fun CPR's pricing was lower for more. I set up the appointment in which they came to our center. The instructor, forgot name, was great. He was funny but did a wonderful job keeping us engaged. Whether you are required to take CPR training for your job or think it's a good idea to know how to save a life if the need arises , this is the course for you. The instructor made it very informative but added some humor so that the course was fun even though it is a serious subject. We will be using them again for our office when it's time for us to renew our CPR training . They also come right to your office if you have a group or you can take online if you just need for one. SO GRATEFUL for this course. I'm not a medical professional but do attend food festivals regularly so figured any information taught here at fun cpr would be beneficial. I took this class at the end of January. Eric Lopez was engaging, funny and highly knowledgeable in the subject. His teaching style was easy to follow and he utilized lots of repetition. He was encouraging and really helped make me feel comfortable with the new skills we learned in the course. Fast forward to this last Saturday. I was at a fundraiser and in a split second a patron at the event looked over with tears running down his face while pointing at his throat, the universal choking sign. I immediately started the Heimlich and 4 thrusts later the gentleman threw up everywhere (which triggered my gag reflex) but I was so grateful I'd been prepared for that exact moment. read more

I think this class is fun and very informative but it did seem a little rushed. I did expect to be in the class a lil longer and get a lil more practice. It would be nice to get a lil feedback on how you are doing the cpr compressions. I do think Eric is a great teacher and had a fun class. read more

Short, entertaining, and very informative. Eric is a great teacher that kept the class entertained and engaged for both class portions. Nobody was afraid to ask questions, and he took them all in stride. They estimate about 4 hours, but our group of 7 was done in less than 3. They weren't wrong about the class being entertaining, I was focused the whole time. I can see how this sort of class could be boring, though. The hours are wrong, too. They start at 10 on Sundays now. Their door says 12:30 and Yelp says closed. read more

I took a CPR, First Aid, and A.E.D. class today at Fun CPR Training. I've been certified many times but this was my first time taking it here. The class was relaxed and kinda fun, but without compromising the important point of being there or any necessary info.
