I have been going there over a decade and have never had a bad massage! The only thing is you cannot get attached as the students graduate pretty fast! Super affordable and they often have specials and packages. Easy to make appointments, friendly front desk, and plenty of parking. This school has been one of my worst decisions and one huge life lesson. I wrote a review previously and deleted it, but it's been months and I have realized that I need to post a review so other students don't have to suffer unnecessarily. If you want to learn massage to learn massage and not practice it professionally then this is a good option for you. The teachers, Ruth and Jenny are lovely and will teach you what you need to know to be a good masseuse. Currently, the school is under investigation by the CAMTC so you will not receive your certification through California. Some students have been waiting over a year for theirs. The school will say it is not their fault, and it may be true or not, it doesn't matter. The issue with the school is that they keep enrolling students without honestly telling them about the problems regarding certification. I was enrolled by the Finance Director Sarit, with her saying 'The sooner you finish the sooner you will be able to start working.' She said this with full knowledge about the certification hold-up. I am still waiting. The management's actions are irresponsible. I take responsibility for trusting their word and not doing my research. I never considered that this could have been the situation. Don't get stuck. The school is a low-cost option but will cost you much more in the long run. Massage therapy is a wonderful career option, choose a school that will have great teachers for your anatomy, and physiology classes as well as hands-on practice. read more

Super disappointed. I've been to this place before plenty of times and usually get a decent massage. But this time I went and it was not good. Let's start off by saying that I'm in more pain now than before I went in and I almost am feeling shortness of breathe or heaviness on my chest. I should have gotten up and walked out but I was trying to give the lady the benefit of the doubt the entire time. I know they are students. But I should have known something was going to be wrong when the student gave me the evaluation form to sign before the massage. My gut was telling me NOT to sign the form but I did not listen to my gut Anyway, the lady stood on me. I tried to complain but it did no good. Then she mostly rubbed my body, not massaged, and used her elbows. When I told her that the elbow was hurting me she stopped and said okay but then went right back to doing the same thing. Then she repeated rubbing up and down on my arms and legs but there was no technique no massage. The lady was also listening to something in her headphones that I could hear over the music that was playing in the room. When I was done she didn't give me the evaluation form to fill out and there was no one at the desk but I was in a hurry and couldn't wait for someone to get back. So I called the place after I left. Of course, no surprise that the students gave herself all fives (good scores) on the evaluation and the woman I spoke with tried to act like it wasn't my fault for signing the form, didn't want to believe me that I didn't fill it out, I don't know what her deal was. I didn't feel like getting upset over the phone. She interrupted me when I tried to tell her all the things that had happened during the massage. The last thing she was saying is that she can't defend me because my signature is on the form. Guys, I get that I shouldn't have signed the blank form. Yes, a student has never given it to me in advance before and do I should have been more wary but in no way should I be held accountable especially when I am calling in to explain to you what happened. I can't honestly say I will be going back to this place. Overall, it was just an awful experience and did not even get good customer service when calling to tell what had happened. Looks like the employees are trying to cover their behinds. I get that we are putting ourselves in a situation when we go to get student massages. But we are also supposed to be helping the students out the facility to make sure that their students are ready to go into the world with a certificate working on people. Note if I call to tell you that the student was not good, she didn't want to do the job the way you are teaching and she is deceitful, that is something you need to take into consideration. I get a massage once every month or two, but I like to try out new places here and there. I pass by this place on my daily commute so I decided to try it out. Cui did an excellent job on my body and her hands were on me for the entire 80 minutes. I left this place feeling much more relaxed and loose then I felt walking in. I really wanted to love this place since a good friend had been telling me how great it is and I finally tried it. I found a Groupon for a massage here which was a great deal at $27 for a full hour. I was so excited to finally use it and get my massage. I was told over the phone while making my appointment that I should arrive on time, but due to unexpected traffic I was a few minutes late (I called to let them know). What I did not expect was when I got there to be told that my masseuse called out just 5 minutes BEFORE MY MASSAGE. I don't know the reason but it wasn't a good start. The woman at the front desk was clearly frustrated and overwhelmed and she did not hide it. The whole process of signing in and figuring out who was available to take me for my massage was just utter chaos that stressed me out more than anything. I finally stepped into the private massage room about 20 minutes past the scheduled time due to these circumstances. My new masseuse was Tina, who was very sweet and made sure I was comfortable throughout the massage. She was very professional and did her best to make my experience here nice and relaxing. read more

Purchased a 3 massage Groupon and received three very decent massages for less than $99. Massages are given by male and female students and so the expertise will vary. All three of my therapists - two male and one female were fine. If you have a preference- you'll need to let them know when you book your appointment. Funky and small parking lot and the business is housed in a not-so-pretty one story office building but they've tried to add some spa touches inside. There's a massage chair in the waiting room and magazines. Visit the restroom BEFORE your massage starts!
