You guys flat out lied to us for hours tried to get us into a much larger trailer then what we wanted and then had the tenacity to run our credit knowing the trailer we wanted "was technically sold before we even got there". Its all good though like I said before thank you for being liars, deceitful and just rude. We took our business to Demontrond RV in houston! Not only saved a bunch of money, got lifetime warranty, and bought an extended warranty on everything else, we were STILL under your asking price! People do your research before buying from these folks! I would give negative reviews if I could but it is what it is! **update, was contacted by the rv dealership in regards to my review. Firstly, They have a reputation for getting you to drive all the way down there for RVs that are already sold. I wish I could give this place zero stars, take your money elsewhere because your waste your time and money here My boyfriend and I decided to purchase an rv in new Braunfels, due to the sales man in Waco being very unprofessional. When I called to ask if they had the puma 31qrs he explained he would call me back to let me know. He then called and told us he had a 2018 and a 2020 available, though I was hesitant because I didn't see a 2018 online. I told him we were coming from Austin and that we wanted to make sure that the rvs were available. Due to the situation of my boyfriends truck no ready to pull the rv, and us renting one. He insisted that everything was good and to come on down. He said he would send us information via text and he never did. An hour into our drive he never sent anything so I assumed I gave him the wrong number. I called him back and asked if he got the wrong number because nothing was received on my end. He said no he got the right number but haven't and he would right then and there. Upon arrive he still had not sent anything back which was enough for me to see not much urge in selling, even though I was persistent about buying the puma the day of. Another younger salesman was standing outside ready to help. He asked what models we came to see and we told him. He then proceeded to say the 2018 was sold, and there was no 2020. We then ask to speak to mike (the salesman we talked to oner the phone)so showed us to mike and he introduced himself and told us we were going to look at the 2018. I then told him we'd like to look at the 2020 model first, then he told us that "oh, that was sold this morning, I'm sorry but there's nothing we can do about that". That is something he should have told us when we were on the way for our convenience. He then let us look at the 2018 we settled because it was cheaper and nice and we got a truck to come down there. We went back to do paperwork and were all set ready to do the credit check. He came back and told us that they sold the 2018 the day before, though he wanted to show us another unit just like it. I was very heated and frustrated because we drove the truck all the way to Waco for nothing. I told him no I did not, and we were tenacious on the puma and wanted nothing more. He left for a long time to go "check on something ". Came back and told us that he really wanted to show us another unit and I told him no again. He left again in the process we were looking into somewhere closer with a puma 31qrs. I was able to fine one at camping world of San Antonio, we called put a down payment over the phone. We arrived saw the unit did paperwork, though it was closing time by the time we finished everything we couldn't take it home. The next day we had the rv keys in hand and left with the rv we wanted. read more

Be aware, like so many other reviewers state once the financing is done good luck because you are on your own. If you call the number listed you are routed through their call center and then to the store. No one in the store EVER picks up in parts or service so you leave a VM or two. The call center will even go as far as sending an email but still, it doesn't help. They don't call you back, there is no timely follow-up. Their mandatory "walk thru" was a joke, the guy spent maybe 15min with me and seemed irritated when any question was asked. When pointing out defects remember unlike a car dealership selling a new vehicle you are left with "well that's how we got it". I would highly suggest anyone looking at purchasing go elsewhere unless you don't care about the warranty or ever getting ahold of anyone that works there. The sales staff has no clue as what they're selling, no clue about options, and are absolutely clueless when it come to operation and demonstration of the RV's functionality. All they care about is getting your money, after that, they'll rush to get you out the door. The walk through was pitiful, Noel didn't even know how to operate the heater. Worst place to buy your RV from. They are there for the sale and that is it. Took one month for them to be able to deliver it after purchase due to their busy schedule. We were sold a 5th wheel that required MFG service after one week in our possession (Our first outing to the local campground to get it ready for a long 14 day trip in it) . We were told it would take 12 weeks for them to have a time to fix it. It then took 3 months for them to get the parts. Needless to say we did not get to take the long trip in it. All time included our trailer was out of service for over 7 months. Our next MFG issue was three months after getting it back and we were told it was after the expiration of the warranty. The products they sell are low quality at a high price. They are not willing to help customers after the sale. They make no money on repairs so they do not care about them. This is the biggest dealer of crap I have ever seen. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM AT ALL COSTS. Any savings observed will be lost in finding a dealer to fix the problems!!!! read more

They were very patient with us since we are very picky, changing our minds and hardheaded to avoid paying extra for things we think don't need. They respected our decisions and acted professionally. I hope we don't have issues with the new forest river soon but if we do I'm sure they will be amazing, understanding that right now, with CoVid 19 around, things get delayed or out of wack. Buying an RV is not the same as buying a car. So Don't expect to get your rv the same day or expect it to be available right away for different reasons. It's not Walmart. I'll update if things comes up about any service for the RV in/with the dealer and maker, not about our personal feelings with employees, or long driving time, that is out of their control. We got the rv out of their lot in good terms and hopefully will return to upgrade later in the future, God willing. read more

We bought an RV from funtown in November 2016, when we did the walk through they noted a couple of things were broken but they said that's normal to go ahead and take it out and see "what we find" ... so we did, we took the camper to the In-Laws for Thanksgiving perfect right... ok first no football all the TV hookups were broken then we found out the censors didn't work for the tanks... no biggie (other than stinky camper) called them when we got back the soonest they could get us in was August 1st... YES 10 months later, showed up August 1st and they informed us the guy that schedules appointments was fired and they deleted his schedule WTF, didn't call us didn't ask if we could reschedule literally try to turn us away after waiting all of those months So after 2 months of our camper being at their lot for an antenna hookup we got it back this weekend after an almost year now... none of the hookups work we no longer have hot water, no longer have our propane (fridge, and over are both broken) not to mention our camper wont keep cool (in Texas this is a big deal) we had ZERO problems minus tv channels and now our Camper is about useless how am I supposed to camp with a camper that no longer has water/AC/ Fridge/Oven ,..... and the sad part is knowing they won't get me in for another year and will break more than they fix... how can I camp without a bathroom or fridge why not save my money and tent camp this point They are beyond useless... if you buy a camper here I'm sorry me too :( If you have a choice RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG I love my camper and didn't mind not getting TV now it's even worst and I had to wait so long for it to be worse off (also there's a ding and a side panel that is coming down but hubby said not to post because it could have happened anywhere but literally wasn't' there when I was decorating *EYE ROLL*) They are terrible take my word and run! We purchased a RV in December 2017 found a few problems and we were told the replacement parts will be ordered right away, tomorrow it's February, today I was told one of the parts was ordered 2 days ago and has not arrived yet, as for the rest of it I still have not received an answer even after daily inquiries. Really Fun Town that's the best you can do after praising all the improvements being made in service????? If you need parts or service after you buy an RV from Fun Town Waco never return find your parts an service some other place or you will be in for much frustration and weeks without your RV. This is the worst experience I have ever had. I bought a 37 ft Fifth Wheel and started having problems the first week. I called the manager and service manager and neither would provide the assistance I needed. then I brought it in because one of the wheels didn't have buddy bearing. while in their shop they turned too sharp and damaged my front compartment door. so had to wait another 3 weeks for repair. They finally called and said it was ready, so came to pick it up. found more damage under door not repaired. so another 3 weeks. finally they said it was ready. I pulled out and heard terrible screeching, while entering the side of freeway. stopped and went see problem and found they forgot to pull pins from hitch on trailer and bent my truck hitch and the rv hitch. I had to get them to come and pick up rv on side of road. now, the repair is another 2 months. they had to replace both hitches and they have never hooked up properly. since then I had a blow out with warranty on tire. they were no help at all worst RV place I have ever had experience with!! I've had 9 RVs and this is worst experience from service department to management!! read more

I'll start off saying that I was really hoping & wishing this would be a positive review in the end, but it's just not. I have been thoroughly unimpressed with the purchase of a Wildwood Grandlodge from Fun Town Waco. From the get go, it was problematic. When we arrived at the dealership & I was told that the issues we had found a MONTH EARLIER when we made the walk thru & paid a deposit, had been taken care of & in fact, they had NOT even been touched, that should've been my queue right then & there to walk away & I didn't... Like an idiot. They got me this time but it won't happen again & I'll post anywhere I can find to share my negative experiences. The ONLY positive out of this is the finance manager Scott. He did most everything in his power helping us work through waiting on my bank to get the financing worked out. UPDATE to that....our trade-in RV didn't get paid off by the time it was supposed too...it was actually 2 weeks late. Scott didn't bother to return emails or phone calls over the course of 3 days so that I could find out what was happening. It took me calling & emailing the dealer & main office, to find out what was going on. The lady said she had taken over pay-offs & admitted that it was 16 days late but had to get approval to get it paid & they finally did. Anyways, we got this thing home & the next day my wife went to use the washing machine & the drain hoses weren't hooked up right, so we flooded the master bedroom. We immediately called our sales person Damian & service had someone out the next day. In the interim, we discover the icemaker wasn't working on the refrigerator & we also found a water leak in the master bedroom in the wall, totally separate from the washer incident. The service people came out the next day & told my wife they fixed everything... They didn't fix ANY thing except tack the carpet back down! I ripped it all up where I could & had fans going to try & dry it out, to reduce the possibility of mold. The only thing they did was staple the carpet down, well & maybe double check the washer pipes that I had already corrected, that's it. They told her that the valve wasn't open for the icemaker so they opened it & it was fixed... It was not! How can you expect water to flow to the icemaker when the line is crimped right there by the valve & you can't tell me they didn't or couldn't see that!! It's plain as day as soon as you pull that panel down. You can see the pictures below what I'm talking about. There's no way they could've missed that unless they just didn't WANT to see it!! They also said they fixed the water leak in the wall that I had found while pulling the drawers out to pull the carpet up from the flooded washer drain. We left the day after all this happened for Christmas vacation for 3 days with our grandkids & when we got back, I turned the water back on like always & fired everything up. I started pulling the drawers out to check everything & found it soaked & still dripping...I'm guessing it dripped all day & night before we left. I went straight out & shut the water supply off back off & pulled the drawers completely apart to get up in the wall. It ended up being two stubs up in the wall for a future expansion that just had caps screwed into the males but here's the best part, they were hand tight & no thread tape or sealant of any kind!!! So the service people didn't fix the dang thing at ALL or it would have had thread sealant on it! They flat out lied to get in & out. Flat out pitiful. Moving on...I ended up pulling the refrigerator out a week later to figure out why the icemaker wasn't working & to fix it myself. I found that the refrigerator that they installed was damaged. It has several dents & dings in it, literally looks like it was dropped on installation. Upon trying to access the water line for the icemaker, from the damaged corner on the fridge, I then scratched the interior trim accidentally moving the fridge around. It's been horrible so far, both on Forest River and FunTown side....mainly Funtown for sure!! They were worried about one thing...making the sale & thats it. So far the sales & service that we received has been absolutely horrible. It's truly sad these days that you can't find a dealership that truly cares anymore about customer service...it's all about 1 thing & 1 thing only....money! I lost 1/2 days work & was up till 11pm with the washer incident..I feel like they owe ME! Today 2/14 marks 2 month into this thing & guess how many times the salesman Damien or Svc Manager have called to check on us... not twice, not three times....NOT EVEN one time! Not one single time with all the issues we have had has ANY one from that dealership called to check on us to make sure that we were OK! That's sad. The sales person Damien says, Oh I take care of my customers during & after the sale...I call & check on my people...sure OK buddy!! Well First off ! I never leave Reviews but this has just gone over board. We bought a New 2018 Coachmen Chaparral 391QSMB This had been worse Fifth wheel I have ever owned. First off we loved the floor plan we bought the trailer Got home and refrigerator Rocks inside the trailer when you are moving Dented the Fridge doors all up.. This is just on the way home.. Made our first trip and everything we had in the Fridge was in the middle of the Floor it was awful.. Put it in the shop like 3 months later we get it back. They put new doors on it. Got home loaded up and left for another trip food all over the Floor again.. Back to the shop new doors other problems said its fixed again.. Same thing now they want to replace the Fridge but they can not find the same model.... But now the heater in the Unit has burned up the wiring Now 3 Times NOT ONCE 3 times Makes you feel safe So back to the shop again. Bottom line this trailer is JUNK and do not buy one. And Fun Town Mangers could care less about it.. " i bet if it was theirs it would be different" Well its a 2018 and half the time we have it the Unit has been in the Shop. Very sad we borrowed my father in laws rig just so we could go on trips and here I Own a brand new trailer.. FUNTOWN Never again. I live over 2 hours from the closest shop so everything that happens is a half day of driving a fuel money to take it in.. They don't care about that... This review is mostly about the service department at Waco. Salesman Noel is great! Make sure to ask for him should you chose to go there. The rest will forget about you once they make their money on the sale. They have great prices but the service department sucks. I took my trailer in for a issue they could not fix after a month of having it. They also ran into a wall or something and damaged the side of my trailer. This happened in Oct 2016. It is now almost march 2017 and i am still waiting on them to fix it. I guess no camping for me this spring either. Update- Fun Town RV of Waco finally called to ask me to take the trailer in on April 10 2017 because they finally got the parts in. When I showed up for service they told me they would have to send my trailer to the Cleburne location 2 1/2 hrs away from me because they could get it done faster. At this point I was thinking they were just passing the buck, and was ready to wait another six months. lol I called the Cleburne location and spoke to a really nice lady named Cristal. She promised my trailer would be done in a timely manner. At this point I had received military orders to leave the country and could not wait much longer. The Cleburne location delivered my trailer as promised with all repairs complete. I am happy with the service department at the Cleburne location. I will never go to the Waco store again nor will I refer any of my friends there. That place is a total disaster. read more

I didn't want to write a review. I gave the management multiple chances to talk about the issues I experienced. I was treated courteously and respectfully in all direct communications. The problem is, they would never call me back. I bought a new RV from the FunTown in Hewitt in September. There were a few relatively minor issues we discovered on our first trip out. Took it in for repairs, and they promised to call me with an update the next day. No call. I called back the 3rd day, couldn't get thru to service; operator (very courteous) assured me the service guy would call me back -- no call. Finally called the next week to say all was fixed except they were waiting on one part. Another week went by - no calls. I wanted to use the RV for a family outing with the grandkids. Since the part we were waiting on was non-essential in the short run and there was no ETA, I decided to pick up the RV to take for the weekend. (This was early in the week before the trip.) I called to make arrangements to pick it up. I was told they would call me back - 3 days in a row!! Finally, I called on Friday morning to say I was coming to get it. They said they would have it ready to pick up. I was able to pick it up, but it turned out that the only significant repair (a roof leak) had not been fixed after all. Took it back in - same stuff. Didn't call when they said they would. We left messages, sent emails - no returned calls. Finally, after a couple more weeks and about 5 or 6 unreturned calls, we finally got thru and were told it was fixed and ready. One of the service guys bragged to my wife about fixing our roof leak and how careful he had been. When I got up there to see it, it looks like it was shot with a caulk gun from 4 feet away. Amazing!! I decided I owed it to FunTown to let them know about my experience. They talk loud about "service after the sale", so I was sure they would want to know about my experiences with their service department. (I was so-o wrong.) That was the week prior to Thanksgiving. I put it on the FunTown website, where they request you address any issues or questions to "The Mayor". I instantly received a canned reply assuring me someone would contact me "soon". No other communication. In mid-January I decided to go to the dealership in Hewitt to talk to the locals. I walked in and was greeted by a kind salesman named "Josh". I asked to see my original salesman, John Nichols, whom we had good experience with. John was out to lunch (at 3:30 in the afternoon). Josh asked what I needed. I gave him a very brief explanation of why I wanted to talk to someone. He expressed appropriate concern. He went to check with the the GM. It so happened that all the management team was in a meeting, so there was no one to talk me, but he assured me that someone would call me "right away". That was over 10 days ago. (But, maybe it is a long meeting!) I would like to give three review scores: Unlike some others, our sales process was pretty good - I would give it a 4 out of 5; the Service Dept I would give a 1.5; overall communication and service after the sale would be about -8, give or take. :-/ The sad thing is that it is a very fixable problem. - Done with FunTown. read more

As first time RV buyers we really loved that we could go in and really look at every RV. At other dealerships we were only allowed to go in with a sales person and it made discussing pros and cons privately difficult. Ernest allowed us to shop at our own pace and answered all questions we had. The parts department was wonderful and got us set up with everything we needed to get hooked up same day. Finance was our only negative experience. We are familiar with the ins and outs of financing due to my husbands background and felt like we weren't treated the best due to that. We bought a beautiful 5th wheel a year ago this month at Fun Town Waco. Since then it has been in the shop 3 times. Went to pick it up once but ended up leaving it. The service department is terrible. They cut the underside of our camper and supposedly were only allowed to fix it with tape. The air conditioner still does not work properly. We noticed that if someone that worked there was truthful with us and admitted there was a problem, that person no longer worked there when we went back. General manager and service manager lied saying repairs had been done. They had not. Stay away. Buy local. read more

If I could give a negative star I would! This place has put my mother in law through so much the last 4 months. She bought one trailer and financed it under their advice. She decide to upgrade and the rigmarole started. Upon selling her house she wanted to pay the first trailer off and they depreciated it 8k without the trailer even leaving the lot. My husband, son and I went out there to find out why. Jessica was so rude and even cussed at us, dropping an F bomb directly at me. Jeremy was even rudder and when we offered to buy the first trailer at the 8k depreciated price he refused to quote us a price and said that's not how things work around here. My MIL was then reconsidering the trade and we asked to go out and look at both trailers again. In order to stop us from seeing the original purchase they moved the trailer off the lot. It was there side by side the other trailer upon our arrival. We looked at both when we first got there. After about 10 mins they located it and it was in the service area. They could t explain why and really played dumb with us. She decided to pay cash and upgrade. She was so mislead on this business venture. However she felt trapped She was sold a trailer that is literally falling apart!!! They sent a service man out, and she was told they could not believe the damage they were seeing. The day they delivered the camper, my MIL was not home. She never gave them the ok on this trailer. However she was told to sign a delivery paper at the store. She thought and they concurred that only meant they could deliver it! There was a lot of fast talking and very little explanation given on anything she signed. She is an "older widowed woman" however being called that by Kelly was appalling. He refers to her as "the lady in a hurry to buy a trailer" She invested all of her money and trusted that they had her best Interest at heart. She paid a 3k dollar penalty basically for upgrading. The sale was not even 72 hours old!!! Then they told us we didn't understand business and we were asking to much! When we asked for her paperwork( that she was not even given a copy of at the time of sale) they could not produce it! When they did there were no company rep signatures on the documents. Now four months later no parts and no repairs yet! On top of that she had an alarm go off signaling a gas leak! When they came out she was advised the leak had been there the entire time gauged by the looseness of the connection. If she had left her precious dog that night like she had planned, when she returned the dog would have probably been dead! This is disgraceful! Nobody should have to live like this, especially an elderly woman! The disrespect and poor handling is a shame! Ill business practices against the elderly should be a crime! When I said that very thing to Jeremy the day we were there he laughed out loud and said try to report us, we have done nothing wrong! I am so thankful for Mandy, Francisco and Ashley Murray, they have been amazing through all of this! My poor Mil feels like she has been tossed into a deep sea without a boat. She sold her home and downsized, trusting this company and they have destroyed her faith in anyone. She has cried and cried, feeling so taken advantage of when all she was trying to do was remain independent! Earlier this week she was advised by a trusted friend to go out and ask for everything in writing that has and is in the works to repair the major issues. At that time Kelley was very rude and became combative. He called her a liar and was raising his voice at her, then ordered her out of his office. Here she sits, almost 70, crying, embarrassed, shaking to the core. Actually believing they were coming to arrest her.....ALL FOR FIGHTING TO PROTECT HER INVESTMENT! This is a crying shame! This is NOT good business practice! I'm sorry but this is down right disgraceful! How much should a person have to go through just to have a safe and sound place to live? Shouldn't we be able to trust those we do business with? NOT HERE!! Please do not buy from this company! I can not speak for other locations, however this store is a joke! It's sad that good people get taken advantage of. They kept our camper for over 6 months just for routine maintenance. Every time we called, we were connected with voicemails and didn't receive return phone calls. When we actually did get in touch with an actual person, they had limited or no updates to give us on our camper or when it would be returned to us. I even emailed a manager hoping that would get us better communication but NOPE! When we picked it up today, it took several hours for them to get someone to help us. When we finally got it home, we noticed that they didn't fill our propane tank (which we paid for) and also that someone had been using our toilet in the camper and left toilet paper all stuffed in there!!! Absolutely disgusting! I don't know what kind of company or people choose to do business this way but I have never been more disappointed or disgusted with anyone. If I could rate lower than 1star I would. We purchased our destination trailer (Forest River) from this location and had it delivered by their driver on 6/24/18. We saved all our issues to call out for a service call just once. They arranged to have a service tech come out and do the repairs for a busted vent pipe for the black tank in the wall in the kitchen, and a defective speaker for the tv and stereo. That was after 3 months of hounding FunTown RV Waco for this warranty service. When the repair tech arrived, he told us we would have to pay up front as Funtown RV of Waco, was very difficult to collect any payment for services. The tech was very professional and preformed the services at 150%. We have still not received our reimbursement or the replacement speaker. We have contacted William Ashley Murray service manager SEVERAL time with still no reimbursement or speaker. My husband and I are very patient people, but let's be real, this is ridiculous. They have given me no choice but to turn to the internet to warn people of their poor service after the sale. Buyer beware. read more

They sell you an RV and they don't tell you their service dept. is terrible, they had my RV for two months fixing warranty stuff. I went to check on it, they finished 11 days earlier and they didn't call to say it was done. And it's been there for the same problem before. I bought a Salem fifth wheel from Funtown Waco in August of 2013. On our very first trip we experienced a number of problems with this unit. The service department is horrible, they give you lip service, make you wait for weeks to get it in, then let your unit sit for months. When they finally say it's done you show up and have to wait hours for them to actually finish it. Of the two years I've owned this trailer they have had it sitting there 10 months of those two years, always for the same problems which they never fix. That doesn't count the waiting time to get it in. I finally filled a Lemon Law compliant on Forrest River with the Texas DMV. In an effort to make it right they hauled it to Indiana to repair. On it's way back, the driver had a blow out which ruined the wheel well. He took it to Funtown Waco for repair. After sitting an entire month (parts were sent the day it was left by Forrest River so that wasn't the reason for the delay) they told Forrest River it was done. The driver arrived and had to wait over an hour while they threw some crappy black tape up in the wheel well, so it wasn't finished and still isn't. They also put a huge dent in the side and bent up the landing gear. They knew they did it cause they signed the inspection report. What kind of Dealer does that and sends it out anyway? I strongly urged you or anyone to reconsider buying somewhere else before you let these clowns in service get a hold of your camper. read more

Would not buy from fun town RV, they take your money and don't deliver on what they promised. Horrible business. My dad's trailer has been being serviced for almost 5 months, they completely destroyed the interior of his RV, changed the floors, damaged the outside of his trailer and the hitch. They've promised to fix all these problems but he's there today with still all the same issues that he originally went in for. The owner is as useless as the rest of the team, he promised to call my dad and fix everything that had gone wrong but again another promise Fun town couldn't keep. I would definitely suggest taking your business to a company who is happy to have and work with you. Not people who just want the money and then take advantage of you read more

We purchased an rv from Funtown in 2012, traded for a bigger one in 2014, AND traded for a 5th wheel in 2016. While our 5th wheel was in for service in March, 2017, it was stolen FROM Funtown Lot! They have given us the shaft since then. They will not compensate is for anything! We are basically not welcome there any more...even tho the insurance replacement was purchased there as well. We had a great salesman who is no longer there. Only two or three in service department were attentive to us, but, as far as accepting responsibility...Funtown is SHIT! Buy a trailer there...but...expect NOTHING after the sale and plan to do any service OR warranty work somewhere else! read more

2018 I recent went back to have my 2nd trailer I bought from this location serviced. I am super happy to report that the service department has improved dramatically. Randy took care of all the small issues that I needed fixed on my trailer in a timely manner and did a great job. While I was there to pick up my trailer I had to have a distribution hitch installed and adjusted for my new vehicle. Roy, one of the service manager handled this personal and did an excellent job. He was professional, courteous, and did a great job. I couldn't be more happy with the service provided by these two folks. The service department has cam a long way since 2016. Keep up the great work guys. 2016 After posting my review I was contacted nearly immediately. The manager explained they had new management in service dept and he was very willing to help with the issues I had on my trailer. After one phone call msg, I was contacted back and was able to get an appointment. Upon dropping off my Rv the service dept writer -Jeremy was very helpful. They finished the work on my Rv ahead of schedule and if appears all work has been done correctly. They did a good job! Hopefully the problems I encountered earlier with the Service Dept are a thing of the past. read more

I can't say enough about my experience at Fun Town Waco. My family and I have been in the market for awhile to find an RV to make memories in. We stopped in on a Friday and were shown around my Damian. I expressed what I was looking for and he led us right to the the fifth wheel. Joe did an amazing job showing the ins and outs of the coach. Scott from finance did an outstanding job finding us the best rate possible. If you are a first time purchaser do your homework and read the articles on mistakes not to make. I think that many of the negative reviews are due to preconceived notions on buying an RV. It is not car. Have not used the service department so I cannot rate them. read more

We just bought our first RV from Fun Town Waco (sales person Adam) it is a 2021 Forest River Wildwood 29VBUD. We picked it up on 12/26... we were told to be there at 430. Well we drove the 1.5 hrs to pick it up and it wasn't ready so we didn't get out of there until 7pm..paper work took only 20 mins and the finance guy was great. The salesman rushed us thru everything and most of that time we were just sitting around.. Well we finally got it to our storage location and the power back stabilizers DONT WORK! Went thru all the paper work and realize we don't have a manual for the actual RV only for the appliances. They are closed Sunday so called first thing Monday and I'm told I would get a call back... No call back..Called them back and they seemed unconcerned. So we called the Giddings location and explained the situation and we were able to talk to the Service Manager who arranged someone to come out to our storage location to look at it. The tech came out today and the whole motor has to be replaced!! The tech was able to show us how to manually bring down the stabilizers (was not shown this in Waco) and even manually bring in the Slide if needed. We would not recommend the Waco location all! When you buy an RV and spend that kind of money you should have a working RV coming off the lot! Oh and still no call back from Waco! We will be contacting Giddings for all our needs from now on! read more

We purchased our travel trailer from Funtown while living out of state waiting for our house there to close. Our trailer was going to be our primary residence on a temporary basis, so we were frustrated by the lack of clear communication from our salesperson throughout the process. We were also unable to do a walk-through in person, but Funtown's PDI (pre-delivery inspection) department is a joke anyway. Upon delivery to the RV park, our trailer was missing bumper caps and the battery cover. We also soon discovered that the primary AC unit didn't work and neither did the switch to extend/retract the awning. Also, one of the two propane tanks was empty upon delivery. We were on our own to get the AC and awning switch fixed, and we are still waiting for a battery cover a month later. We were able to pick up bumper caps and a full propane tank from Funtown.
