Review for Dr Bennett My first impression of his…read morecondescending looks from afar was no less than the way he treated me up close. I had to have an independent medical evaluation after a car incident and this was the doctor I was sent to. This particular day, I was fighting a mild cold. Not Covid or flu, but enough to make you feel like staying home. However, I had this appointment confirmed and it was coming off Memorial Day weekend so I just decided to wear a mask and get the paperwork submitted so I can continue NATURAL treatment with my other chiropractor. This man mocked me for breathing in "my own carbon dioxide" and assumed that I was a "thoughtless" millennial, instead of hearing me tell him I had a mild cold and was trying to be cautious from spreading it. So that was one part. He kept on referring to me as "you kids", as if I was a disappointment to him. (Let me be clear, I haven't worn a mask in ages now, so this was purely out of consideration for the doctor and his patients/staff). The next- for his assessment, he just barelyyyy compressed my neck a little and had me bend a few limbs for measuring the angle (which for me, being a bendy human with minimal fat and a decent amount of muscle "looks" impressive, but is still constricted from my normal ROM since the wreck), and he stuck me with a pin to check for feeling in my hands and such. All WNL, to the eye at least. No X-rays or anything of that nature, so he is solely going on objection and no quantifiable evidence as to what's happening inside my body, unlike my current DC. I honestly thought he (Dr Bennett) was a physical therapist until I looked him up afterwards. Which, by reading other reviews and researching further, makes sense that everyone is fooled into liking him- because he doesn't formulate a treatment plan. He only treats patients "as needed", vs other practices that usually make a 3 visit, 2 visit, 1 visit a week plan, until you're on maintenance. He just lets people come in whenever, so the insurance companies use him to file these auto claim opinions as to whether or not he deems it necessary for further treatment with a competing practitioner in the area. Of course he's not going to see it necessary!!!! He gets money from the insurance companies to write up a report with general findings in favor of cutting off injury protection. I gave him the benefit of the doubt as being an old geezer and set in his ways/meaning no harm, but it was clear he was looking for me to say something about my current treatment to slip me up and use against my PIP case. I have been honest, I have gone to my appointments, I have rested from vigorous workouts which has set me back from attaining my goals, and done homework therapy for 2 months+, and for someone like this to be able to determine whether or not I'm "bad off" enough or not to continue treatment for NATURAL healing, is a complete failure in healthcare/insurance. Florida particularly as a "no fault state". Someone referred to him as a snake in another review, and I have to say- that's exactly the way he came off. Slimey and mostly deaf. Ps- I'm the one with a Jesus loves you t shirt. He may love you, but I'll bet you He's disappointed that you work against honest people and FOR insurance kickbacks.

I just called the office before 5 pm on a Wednesday and I was not even able to leave a message for the office. No instructions on how to get ahold of the Provider after hours as well on the message. This lady doc is my Primary Doctor and is not very professional in my opinion. I grew up around a Doctor and his practice...he was part of a group of Doctors and they all helped each other as a Team. This Asian lady Doctor is all on her own!!! That is pretty unheard of in this day and age. I am going to be looking elsewhere for a new PCP bc this one is never available during emergencies or when I need her medical help. Does she even have a RN or LPN in her practice?! I just saw under trained Medical Assistants in her office the 2-3 times I visited.
