We were there for a birthday party. Had fun until we were leaving. As I was strapping my son in the stroller that I parked off to the side, an employee comes up to my family and bluntly says, "you can't park your stroller there because someone else did that and it unplugged that (referring to a bouncy house)." Then he walks away. Dude, I'm clearly leaving. There was no sign and no one told us to move the stroller for the 2hours we were there. If it was as concerning as he made it sound, then proper precautions like a sign or even a cone would've been placed by the cord. What irked me was that he was unprofessional and lacked customer service. Clearly hates his job. Walked away without saying "thank you." We had my son's birthday party here. It was excellent! We had plenty of room for all of our guests within the designated area, the play area was clean and very well maintained. The staff was also very responsive and checked in with us several times to make sure we didn't need anything. They were very chill about some of our party members playing after our time was over. I am huge with customer service. The manager, Danielle is more than accommodating. The Chicago ridge location doesn't have the same amenities and the lady who answered the phone the day I called was RUDE. I had a party here for my son and the customer service was incredible!!!! I love all the options the party comes with. It wasn't too expensive. My little guy had so much fun. He still talks about going back. This place is also good because you can take your kids on the weekend, pack a lunch, and let them play their hearts out. You pay one price for all day. You can go to the food court and come back to play some more. For me, it's place is gem. I can catch up on work as my little ones burn all their energy. My issue is honestly more with the behavior they allow from their customers than with the business itself. That said, a boy here was throwing things at my child, hard enough that she was crying and had a visible mark on her face where the spiky ball had hit her. The mother then yelled at me when I calmly asked her to get her son to stop. An employee tried to address it and I was told they'd follow up with me, but I never heard anything back after leaving my contact information. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth that this is the behavior they'd allow from their customers. If a child is being violent or rough housing, they and their family should be warned and if/when the behavior continues, they should be asked to leave. Maybe even prohibited from coming back to ensure a safe environment for other children. I had to go to the food court to get an ice pack, they only offered one after I'd gotten a bag of ice elsewhere. I'm pretty sure my friends and I will be taking our kids elsewhere after that. The staff here was very professional, making the process of getting scheduled as seamless as possible. They assisted us with set up and clean up and the facility was very COVID clean following all precautions. Great place to take kids 1-10 years old. There are 7 huge bouncy houses for kids to choose from. There is a little kids area specifically for kids 1-5. My daughter wore herself out and fell asleep on the car ride home. Definitely worth it. It's $9 for an all day pass per child which is good from 10am-9pm. (Adults are free) We came right when they opened, left for nap, and came back after dinner. It was a fun day. It seems pretty clean. We saw some workers spraying the bouncy houses clean and wiping them down throughout the day. They told me it's non toxic cleaner and totally safe around kids. There are picnic tables and parking areas for strollers. You can come and go as you please so if you need to grab lunch you can. The food court is super close by. There are spots designated for birthday parties as well. If you need a place to let your kids energy out I would suggest it! read more

This place is great. Lots of bounce houses and lots of room for kids to play. Came here with my mom and 4 kids (3 old enough to play). My oldest just turned 8 is high functioning autistic. He kept leaving the play area to marvel in the glory of the train. My mom was with him and apologized to the attendant at the counter and told her he is autistic and is obsessed with trains. The attendant gave my son three tokens to ride the train. She told my mom that the family who created funflatables have an autistic daughter and they know first hand and they'd like to do that for him today. I thought that was extremely kind and thoughtful of them to do that for him. We will definitely keep frequenting this place. read more

Great place to let little ones burn off energy. Clean and spacious, with a separate area available for kids under 6, and a train ride (tickets for the train are sold separately). There is plenty of room for parents to sit down and watch their kids. Watching your kids is key - the staff does not monitor the kids while they are playing, and a lot of parents don't watch their kids either. read more

Loved them! Their staff was wondeful and welcoming for my family and my guests. Organized a party here. Staff was kind and attentive to all our needs. It was nice to have picnic tables to utilize (especially for adults who didn't want to follow around their children). We were offered a little section in the middle for our party. Kids had a blast jumping around and playing their little hearts out. If you've never been here, let me explain what this place is all about. There are bouncy houses all over the place with little plastic play sets and structures to climb on. A slight observation -- kids get HOT fast. So I would tell guest in your party to have the kids dress in "work out" gear. And they must have socks on in order to play. It's a rather big facility, but I can only imagine how crazy this place would be on the weekends. Especially because it is not closed off to just parties and kids can come and free play throughout the day. Our party was on a Thursday night and we had the place virtually to ourselves. We were given a pizza and fruit punch for the kids for dinner. However the pizza was AWFUL. I wish I would have paid attention to where the pizza was from. We had adults complain that it was horrible and some kids couldn't even finish their slice. That has nothing to do with this place since an outside facility is used to "cater" the pizza to parties. Parents can purchase snacks and drinks at the front counter too if they aren't satisfied with what is being served. That's about it! Horrible experience. Had my daughter's birthday here last weekend and it was a disaster. Party area wasn't ready on time. Guests were told to go shop while the area was getting cleaned. Guests brought little kids, the last thing they wanted to do was to walk around the mall and shop. 10 minutes after the party was supposed to start an employee was still vacuuming the area. Just embarrassing.. Flyer states that you get a party host "from Start to finish", well we didn't get one because they were understaffed and assigned "host" couldn't attent to us. On top of that failed to collect the payment at the end. You pay for service that you don't receive. She was at the fromt desk almost the entire time. I can't remember how many times I went up asking for things! When I asked for utensils to serve the salad they provided I was told they were out. You would think they would have prepared for a busy weekend, but they weren't. There were 3 employees I believe in total- extremely understaffed. Again- busy weekend, parties back to back. Poor planning on management side. Oh, and there is only 1 bathroom. Imagine that! I suggest you leave Funflatables and use mall's bathrooms which are much cleaner. Flyer also states all the children receive a free train ride. Again, I had to inquire about that multiple times as my assigned host wasn't really present. I am very disappointed and do not recommend his place for a birthday celebration. Poorly organized, extremely understaffed and overall not worth the price. read more

Parents of older children were not paying attention to them while they ran in and out of the toddler area, running over the smaller kids. Queue the small kids crying after getting scared and/or bowled over. Management should consider having a staff member at the entrance to prevent this (ball factory does this). It was a legitimate safety concern. I ended up telling bigger kids to leave the area until one of their parents came to start and argument with me. No thanks. A really fun and quite clean place, but we won't be back unless this issue is dealt with. read more

Great idea to put an inflatable place inside a mall! My 6 year old son and his friend enjoyed Funflatables. Nice and clean. We got there right when it opened stayed for an hour or so, went to have lunch and came back to play some more. Their prices are very reasonable, especially for parties. read more

We've never been to an "inflatable" place, but my toddler is just now getting old enough to enjoy these. I don't have much to compare it to, but this place seemed pretty clean and we got a good prepaid punchcard deal by signing up for emails on their website. There are four or five very large inflatables with different themes. I think if your child is under two you wouldn't get your money's worth. It took my toddler about 20 minutes to warm up to the idea of getting in one of them with the other big kids. There are a few Little Tikes slides for the younger crew. Good place for kids 3 and over. I couldn't ride the train with my 1.5 year old even though I bought her a token and she is just too small to go on herself. And my 1.5 year old started running out and no-one even tried stopping her, no sort of security or safety at all. if I had my back turned she'd have been out in the mall . My almost 3 year old was fine. U just have to watch the older kids, bc God knows the workers won't. Otherwise kids 3-8 would probably love this place read more

Had my daughter's 2nd birthday here yesterday. Everything went calm and comfortable, my host Hannah was great. She helped me with anything I needed and went beyond for things that I forgot. First off workers did not walk around/supervise inflatables they all were at the front desk unlike it would be at pump it up. Secondly there was no soap or paper towels in the bathrooms,we addressed them about that and the lady said "We are having a hard time with kids being out of control we're working on it." And lastly my brother was running around and somebody stepped on his hand the worker saw and got him an ice pack without telling me or a parent what had happened! I noticed a little scratch where he got hurt I cleaned it out and asked for a Band-Aid and they told me that they had no Band-Aids. Not impressed for my first time being there. read more

Had my sons first birthday here today and I am very happy with the turn out ! more fun for the littlest ones but the older ones (around 9&10) found it fun too! This place was really only okay. I've been to many other indoor kids play places and would put this one near the bottom. A couple of the main issues I have with it are safety related. They had gates blocking kids off from the blowers and back of the blow houses for only a couple of the structures. They also had the door to their maintenance room wide open with extension cords running out of it. Additionally, there is nothing blocking off the main entrance that goes straight into the mall. Most other kids places somehow black access or at least make it a little difficult for little ones to wander off. To top it off, the staff seemed like they didn't really want to be there. I used a LivingSocial voucher for a ten visit punch card and used 5 of these in one visit for a friend and I and I honestly don't know if I'll even go back to use the last 5 visits. read more

I recently visited the Lombard facility with my children and I must say, my visit was amazing. The funflatables staff is so friendly, especially Kendra and Patricia. There were extremely helpful and caring and went as far as playing with mine and several other guests children. One thing that bothered me in particular was the management. The lovely ladies pointed out the manager on duty so I was able to give a positive overview of my visit. The manager introduced himself as Nick. As I began to praise him of my visit of the facility, he simply ignored me and continued to whatever he was doing on his phone. Not once did he look up to acknowledge my compliment. He didn't interact with the children and it was such a blessing to see him leave for a good half hour. The only time I saw any interaction with the kids was when he bumped into a child on his was back in. I have never seen anything like this management in my entire life. I was disgusted. read more
