Love this place! I brought my less than enthusiastic 12 year old lab in to have her nails clipped... Her least favorite activity (read this as she took out myself a tech and the vet heading for the door the last time). Oh my goodness! What a great experience. We brought our yellow lab by today after we took him for a walk and he got all muddy. funky fresh was very accommodating and was able to take him without an appointment. Even though our little guy is a lab we asked if they could give him a lions tail and Mohawk, and the groomer didn't hesitate and said yea. When we went to pick him up we were so impressed at how great of a job they did grooming him. You could tell our dog had a great experience too because he was in no signs of distress or discomfort. He was happy and loved the staff. Prices were great and very reasonable. We will defiantly be back. Very happy and completely satisfied. read more

We have two short haired dogs that we can easily wash and do not have to trim. Needed the services of Funky Fresh to trim nails and drain anal glands. The trimming and expressing was done quickly with no crying, yelping and not too much squirming. No bleeding from the nail trim at all. In between yearly vet visits this will be the go to place for quick walk in maintenance on our dogs. Nail trim $10 per dog Anal Gland drain $7 per dog. read more

We have used Funky Fresh for our two dogs, Emmie, our Sheltie, and Murphy, our Boxer, many times and have always been very happy with their services! I love that they will call me as soon as they are done, usually, an hour and one half, i just stay in town and come pick them up as soon as I get the phone call, not having to wait for hours for the dogs to get finished, and have the dogs be crated and stressed.If you just need a nail trim, they have certain days and hours that are available to to stop by with no appointment, wonderful idea!! I was at Funky Fresh Pet Grooming last week with my little Shiz-tese. I was emphatic about maintaining her hair up in her topknot as she usually wears a bow but, the gal cut it off! (It had taken a year to grow that topknot.) Her nails weren't cut properly and her feet and anus were stained. Kayla might do a great job on big dogs but did not do a good job on my little dog. I even requested a partial refund (after the charge) which I was not given. Very disappointed. Unfortunately, they did not bring my dog out before they charged me or I would not have paid the full amount plus giving a tip. read more

I brought my mini dachshund in last year because I had heard nothing but great reviews...but after a $200 vet bill because something burned his eye at during his visit, I wasn't so impressed. I am actually not even so upset about this, but it was more the cavalier attitude of the young woman I spoke to on the phone when I called to let them know what had happened. She assured me that they only use the best and most expensive of products, yet some how my pup nearly lost the sight in his eye. Accidents happen, but I wasn't even offered an apology (or a refund or offer of splitting the vet bill)...I know many people who love them and I am very happy that no one else has seemed to have had this type of experience, I am happy this seems to be have been a fluke, but I wouldn't chance it again. read more

Funky Fresh is a great place! The owner and her workers are awesome! My pug Louie won't let me cut his nails. But as soon as he goes there the owner cuts his nails and he's so happy to see her! I took my little shih tsu Trae there for a full grooming including anal glands! They were so good with him even though his socialization skills with other dogs is non-existant and he barked the entire time! Such patience and such a beautiful job both those girls did. See for yourself. His picture is posted above but has the wrong name on it. It says Casper but its really my Trae. I hope i thanked you girls for the beautiful job you did...I was really speechless when I saw Trae after you gave him that great haircut! Will be back soon! The girls here are amazing!. We were traveling across country with our 3 pooches and halfway through the trip they got stinky and their fur was matted everywhere from them being in crates for the hours on end-to-end we couldn't brush our golden doodle nearly as much as we needed, they were covered in various sticks twigs and debris from stopping at rest area per walking areas while we were driving. The girls here squeezed the in so fast!!! In Florida we have to schedule at least a week in advance!!! I was super impressed with the job they did also, the pups looked exactly as I wanted them and smelled great. I highly recommend these people. They clearly love dogs and their jobs. read more
