Our dog willingly gets out of the car and walks into the building every month. Willingly! Need I say more?

Danielle is an excellent groomer and wonderful human! Been going to her with my French Bulldog…read moreMurphy for nails and now our Glen of Imaal Terrier Finnbarr for bath, trim & more. I have the upmost trust in Danielle and her staff and feel safe when Finnbarr is with her. I know she is invested in her clients and their humans as well. Standing "O" for Paws Applause!!

I left a box of candy for her as well as for Danielle along with a can of chocolate goodies. I always treated them fair and decent. Can't say the same for Danielle anymore. The owner Danielle was usually never there when I dropped my dog off early, but that day she was there and rushing around in a frenzy. When I returned to pick my dog up, I didn't notice the horrible grooming they had done. They had her hair up in a water fountain style on top of her head as I usually did myself, but it looked as if it was never trimmed. It wasn't. It was not even combed! They left her in knots! It looked like they dried her, grabbed her hair on top, put her bow in her hair and a scarf. I blew it off thinking it was my imagination since I was going there 2 years and they couldn't have neglected her like that. When we got home I looked at the back of her tail, it was shaved off! She had a water fountain tail, thick beautiful tail that always covered her behind. Now her whole back of her behind was exposed. My husband and I picked her up and then saw all the knots in her tail. We gently had to comb them out and she lost so much hair again. Her ears and head were chopped all uneven. I was in shock. We noticed there was an older woman working in the back where they groom the dogs; perhaps she groomed her in this manner or was it Danielle? I will never know. I called and left a message, I was very upset and she never called me back. Goes to show you how much she cared about us and especially my dog who was left butchered up like that. She even had the nerve to tell my husband the same day that she increased the price of grooming. What an unprofessional way to handle the increase. To top it off, when I went to pick up my dog, she had her walking around the room with a ton of other dogs. Who gave her permission to do that? I don't want my dog exposed to other animals like that. Horrible. Of course, she'll never see us again. No one will ever get the chance to abuse my dog more than once. Be careful who you choose to groom your dog. This is a pic of my 2 year old dog Cookie after we tried to comb out all of her knots. Unfortunately I do not have pics of her face because we already trimmed it to make it as even as possible; believe me, it was also a disaster cut. Perhaps she overbooked this day and that's why my dog never got her regular treatment? Still waiting for an apology.

If you are early for boarding, there is an extra fee, but cheaper than an extra night stay, so worth it. They also have grooming services that have been good.

I will not be taking him back, ever. There is so much more to the story as I have talked to other dog parents about kennel cough at this place. Seems like a couple of other reviews mention this. I have taken him to another daycare when I lived near Elmwood Park and I have never had this issue and right away I notice that this other daycare always had someone watching the dogs at all times and their cameras always worked . I do not recommend this place for small dogs.
