We sat in the car searching for another food spot when a man walked up to us (we thought it's the last customer coming out with to go food). We asked him if it's truly sold out, he said yes and handed us his food. We tried to turning him down, we didn't want to take his food. He was very insistent and then finally came out as the owner of the restaurant. He said, here have the food, we offered to pay but he couldn't take payments since his system has been closed. He even walked back inside the restaurant and gave us rice to go. We didn't get to see and taste all of their food, but the chicken adobo, humba, lumpia, pork sausage and monggo that he gave was delicious!! We went back to the hotel and gobbled the food. Now I know why the food was delicious, because the owner has a big heart. It reflects on the food that he serves. He definitely gained new loyal customer with his welcoming attitude. He didn't have to give us food, he could've just simply told us to come back the next day, but he didn't. Filipino hospitality was on full display through the owner.
