    Pathetic, says come back tomorrow
    Yochanan H.

I was excited to get Filipino food since I last had Inihaw Filipino Barbecue in Bethlehem, PA, a few years ago. We arrived at 4:58 p.m., and they closed at 7 p.m., and we were greeted with a sign that read, "Sorry but we re all SOLD OUT Sorry for the inconvenience." Okay, sold out of what? We went ahead and went inside. She told us, "I have some fish left. Come back tomorrow." The owners of Abuhan should call the owner of Inihaw for tips on running a restaurant. Better yet, for the hours, put 11 a.m. until we re all SOLD OUT. Besides, to run out of food with two hours remaining is a poor way to run a business. We weren't the only customers that left disappointed. So, only one star for Abuhan!

Been consistently dining in at Abuhan since we moved to Florida. We love their fried fish, lumpia, adobo and other dishes. Portions are always generous and friendly staff & owners.

Sometimes you just find a place. When we entered the amazing smells reminded me I was hungry. We were greeted warmly by one of the owners and he told us about the dishes. He also told us he changes the items throughout the week, so you know you can always find something new and delicious. He let me sample the pork belly and a flavorful stew . The meat was so tender and had a slightly sweet yet balanced carmelization on it. I ordered some of both to take home with me. If you like Filipino food or you just want to try something new, swing by this great little lunch stop, you'll be happy you had a great meal.

*they give more portions than what's pictured. I got super excited and hungry that I forgot to take a pic!* Just moved to FL and I was craving Filipino food! My fiancé and I came across this family owned Filipino restaurant and it did not disappoint!! The owners are the only ones who runs the business, they are super sweet and nice. If you are looking to send boxes in the Philippines, they do that here as well! The food is so good! I got pancit, rice, monggo beans, and dinuguan! I got so excited that I literally forgot to take a picture of my food until it was almost done. My fiancé loved it as well. Their pancit was not dry, perfect amount of black pepper, salt, veggies, and tiny pieces of pork. Their dinuguan was sooo good: it had good amount of meat, no fats, it had perfect amount of vinegar. Probably me and my fiancé's fave one from here so far. And the monggo beans is vegetarian, no meats or shrimp/seafood added. It was so good that even my Albanian mother in law loved it! Their leche flan (a dessert) was also delicious! It was nice, smooth, silky, and most importantly it was not too sweet!! I definitely need to come back here again and try their different dishes! *they give more portions than what's pictured. I got super excited and hungry that I forgot to take a pic!*

We went during their soft opening hours. I was excited to try this place out at there isn't really any Filipino restaurants in this area of Pinellas county. This is a "Turo-Turo" style restaurant Turo means point since you point at what you want to order. We got 2 combo meals that comes with 2 ulam (main entree) and rice as well as lumpiang Shanghai. The Ilan we got was Bicol express, dinuguan and chicken halang-halang. The bicol express was probably the best tasting one. The dinuguan was a little watery and bland while the halang-halang was super salty! The lumpia (since it was sitting on the tray) was barely warm and very little filling. It wasn't bad but it wasn't that good either. I hope they get better as they get in the groove. Maybe we'll try them again eventually but for now, Mata's and Filipiniana Cafe is still a Tastier option.

    humba, pancit, dinuguan. all guuuud!

OMG this place is a gem! the food was epic. Friend took me here for lunch, I wanted to stay for dinner. Woman behind the counter was the sweetest, and patient, and had such a pride for her culture sharing via food, she made me feel warm, ...and then hungry. We had: Lumpia. Just the right amount of crisp, not hella greasy, great size. I could eat a whole plate of those. Pancit. great texture, lots of meat and veggies in it, and the flavor was awesome. Dinuguan. Ingredients don't sound great, I know, but it tastes amazing. Like the 'good meat' at the bottom a long stewing big ass pot that you'd rush to make rice for. get it. Sinigang Na Baboy. she gave a lil cup of this to sample, and after trying it I wanted to hug her. It tasted great; tangy yet comforting and spicy. Good for a rainy night, or a welcome home treat. Humba. Epp-pic! sweet yet a touch spicy, slooooow braised pork you can eat with a spoon. Tasted like it cooked for 4 glorious days and enjoyed every minute in that heat. Everything tasted fresh and wonderful. If I lived there, I'd go every week.

There is also a grill where you pick your raw ingredients, and they grill in front of you. The dinner was $33.95 per person. However, they have plenty of high end options. Sushi, sushi mi, snow crab, oysters, mussels, and shrimp. Lunch is more reasonable, around $15-16. I am not sure what options are available for lunch. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

They have all your staples, the sushi, the sashimi, fried foods, a ton of dessert, a hibachi, fish, crab, etc. I lean heavily towards sushi in this situation, so I made myself a plate of sushi and sashimi. It wasn't the best. I don't expect it to be fantastic at buffets, but the sashimi did taste fishy, and the sushi was a little below what I would even expect at an all you can eat. I usually can power through, but I left about half of the sashimi on my plate. The salmon sashimi wasn't bad, but it was very cold. So why three stars? My older son really liked it. Luckily they had enough non-Asian food that he went to town. They had fries, garlic toast, he ate the lo mein picking out the vegetables. Actually, both kids liked the lo mein, so that was a hit. They also have individual servings of ice cream and the kids loved that as well. I actually enjoyed that they had coffee flavor. My husband loves crab legs, so he ate a majority of that. They also had a Matcha cake that was better than I expected. Overall, I don't love this place, but for the price what you get is pretty decent. So I'm not rushing to come back, but if my kids do want to eat here, I wouldn't stop them. It's large, there's tons of parking, especially out back. I don't think you'll have to worry about getting a table.

I was on the fence given my bad experience with restaurants that try to get fancy with its sushi, but this definitely surpassed my expectations. The environment has a nice small-town exterior (fitting for a restaurant in Downtown Dunedin) with a vibrant, cool, cozy interior with minimal lighting that's easy on the eyes. The service is pretty good and they do check to make sure you're enjoying what you ordered, which is a nice touch. In terms of mocktails, on the first day I had the Ginger passion tea which had nice presentation and was just the thing needed to wash down the fantastic spice of, which I sadly forgot to take a picture of, but alas...Next time...The second day I had the "Cucumber Chiller" which, I'll admit, didn't tickle my fancy too much as I'm not one for zest, but it's still a solid #2 on my list! I tried their Spicy Tuna Roll on both days, and much to my pleasant shock...They mean it when they said spicy. Much of their sushi menu appears to be a fusion of Mexican spicing and Japanese uramaki sushi techniques, which I never expected to enjoy so much! I definitely wish to experiment with more of their rolls next time. I also decided to try the pork fried rice, and my goodness, whatever pig they cut up for that rice may not have been able to fly but I sure felt like I was on cloud nine! The rice was crispy, soft, crunchy, flavorful and subtle all at the same time and when it needed to be. Mind you, the lunch portion alone filled me up almost! Just imagine what the dinner would do! Actually, don't imagine that. Just know you'll be good for the rest of the day! Then for desert I decided to try a slice of their Green Tea Cheesecake...Now, interestingly enough, I almost thought it was pumpkin due to the strange flavor contrast between the green tea base and the caramel drizzled. Not what I was expecting but it was still really delicious and I would eat it again in a heartbeat. You don't gotta be a Scorpio like me to be drawn to Pisces Sushi & Global Bistro, that's for sure! I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Dunedin...I guarantee you'll be Du"needing" more of this after one bite!
